Hello gang and welcome to Tabby Tuesday with me Simon, the new President of DPL. Brian told me I was elected over the weekend so I guess I’m proud to serve. Oh, DPL? That’s the Dustbunny Protection League, you know I’m now responsible for protecting all of the dustbunnies.
I know Brian told you about the plumbing human being here on Saturday. Well, I knew the dustbunnies that live under the recliner in the big bedroom would be totally scared so I dashed under the recliner to protect them from the evil introoder human. It really is a job I take seriously too.
That plumbing human was here at 8 in the morning and left shortly after noon. However, I couldn’t take any chances with the dustbunnies safety so I stayed under the recliner for another five hours just to make sure they felt safe. It was a long day but I got them through it.
Hopefully the rest of my Presidential duties won’t be as exhausting. I’ll catch y’all later on. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
how great that you rescued all that dust bunnies… that’s bunnyful!
Wow, you are very serious about your job, Simon!
It looks like it’s very useful to have strangers in the house sometimes, Simon…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞
How awesome of you to protect those poor dust bunnies, dear Simon.
How nice of you to not neglect the dust bunnies and protect them lol
Simon, you are so loving. I know you’d rather watch the plumbing guy and investigate what he’s doing … but you made sure the dustbunnies weren’t scared 😉 Was Seal next to you?
You did a great job protecting those dust bunnies, Simon.
That’s a lot of work, Simon! You must be exhausted.
We have plenty of dustbunnies here but never had a DPL presence. Maybe we need to remedy that.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
oh Bless you….that is the sweetest thing to help keep the dustbunnies safe. But that was a LONG time to stay under that chair! Simon, those eyes, BEAUTIFUL.
I’m sure the dustbunnies appreciate your protecting them. it makes me think of a fairy tale when someone helps a mouse, they are surprised when the mouse is able to help them. I don’t know if dustbunnies can help though. Mostly they help me to sneeze! Achoo!
Oh Simon, what a good boy you are to protect all those defenseless dust bunnies. Well done. You all have a great day.
We thought you would chase blowing dust bunnies on the floor, but protecting might be fun too.
Simon
What a grand undisputed story…I say stick with it!!
MOL
Hugs Cecilia
Well done, Simon! Our Chucky was always concerned about wooly socks, and would carefully herd them around the house, just like you caring for those dust bunnies!
Dust bunnies and me don’t get along too well. I’m forever chasing mine out from under the darnest places and wish like crazy they’d stay away but they seem so content to stay put. What if I ask mine to come stay with you, would that be ok?
Wow…that was really nice of you to protect those dustbunnies!!
The Florida Furkids
Aw, what a trooper you are. All that sacrifice for all the dust-bunnies. You made me chuckle.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and your peeps. ♥
Well at least you kept the dustbunnies safe.
Wow! Simon ~ congrats on becoming President ~ you go, guy ~ Love those green eyes of yours ~ ever watchful ~
Happy Moments to You,

All hail the president! Over here it’s Zulu who is in charge of protecting the dust bunnies when a stranger comes over!
Simon that is a job I myself take very seriously here at Casa Tomcat. We have resident dust bunnies under our couch so that is where I go to provide suppurrt when there are strange humans in the house. And those humans can be strange. I mean I know our dads are strange but wow
I had no ideas dustbunnies needed protection. But yeah, I can see that, especially under stuff like chairs. Purrsonally I rarely have to hide under chairs cuz usually I’m the one causing the ruckus and making the others hide. Nope. Never met a dust bunny. *signed, AssRabbit*
dood…mom N dad will prob a blee hide under de ree clinerz two when they see de bill frum de plumbin dood !! 😉 ♥♥
You are a brave and intrepid President dear Simon! I am so impressed I am almost ready to put you with Brian in my heart.
I am sure you are a great DPL president! Let’s hope no human intruders will come to your house for the next weeks, so you all can relax!
Good job, Simon, but that sounds exhausting ! Purrs
What a good job you did protecting those dust bunnies, Simon! Obviously the right cat for the job was elected.
What a wonder DBP you are Simon! Although we hope someday they will be able to protect themselves 🙂
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
MOL!! You might want to thank that Plumber so you could protect those dust bunnies!!
Great job, Simon!
You’re such a brave and noble kitty!
Good job, Simon. I hope you got extra pay in treats for the overtime you put in.
It’s a good thing you were there to protect them!
Congratulations! You are a sweetie to rescue them. Thank you for the kind words you left for me on my blog for the loss of Millie. XO
All the dustbunnies can rest easy in their minds, you will never let them down!
I hear you, Simon! Here I seek out lost toys behind the bookcases when strangers are around.
~Ivan.
You did the exact right thing. We are proud of you.
I recently had the opportunity to clean out dust bunny central under my bed and laughed when I thought what Dexter looked like when he came out from under there. I think you guys would find it interesting, all sorts of stuff gets lost down there since it doesn’t get thoroughly cleaned unless I’m turning my mattress.
You have the prettiest most intense eyes, Simon.
I’ll bet they felt safer with you protecting them.
MOL! Dude, you know how to spin things! Maybe you should work in Wash D.C. – on second thought maybe not, we need less spinning there and more work done. You are one gorgeous President!
Nine hours under the recliner is a super long time. You really take your duties seriously. We hope your mom or dad brought you some treats periodically. If not, you need a contract specifying that. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
That was a long dustbunny protection shift.
The next time I need a hideout from introoder humans, I am going to look under the nearest recliner!
DPL sound like important place
Simon it sounds like you did a fabulous job with dustbunny protection. No wonder you’ve been elected President!
Hugs, Teddy
Such a helpful bunch of felines here! Love the photo share and those piercing beautiful eyes looking at at us. Thanks for sharing. HUGS
