Yepper, it’s Mancat Monday and we did have a weird weekend doing lots of this. All of us were doing the snoozy thing although sometimes it was a little difficult with all of the beeps going on. Us kitties don’t always like those strange beeps. Well, three of us weren’t overly bothered by it, but Simon and Seal sure didn’t like it.
What was weird? Well, late Saturday night there was a car crash somewhere on the road out behind us. It took out trees which came down on power lines which meant no power. The time to restore projection ended up being Noon on Sunday. The power was back on a little earlier than that but it ended up going out again. Those silly beeps go off to tell us the power was off. Duh, we figured that out on our own. It wasn’t really a big deal for us, we have a whole house generator so there were lots of others that were worse off that we were for sure.
But, we also lots our internet, TV and telephone, multiple times, so it was difficult to catch up with our blogging pals. I think the Dad was ready to use some HBO words but I told him there wasn’t any point because we couldn’t get HBO with the TV out MOL.
I did spend a good bit of time looking out the front window guarding against that evil virus that’s lurking about. Y’all have a safe and healthy Monday please. See you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Wow, that must have been a bad accident!
Glad ya got the power back!
no power is a horror and being without cable/internet is even worse. glad you survived and you look so very handsome with your paws curled like that. Makes me want to kiss you. hope everything is back to normal today. of course we are all still trapped in our gilded cages.
oh no… that was a scary weekend!!! we hope all things will work like eggs-pected… to be disconnected with da world this time is really awful…
Keep guarding.
Must have been one big accident. Power can be fickle sometimes as it brings out the hbo words lol
I hope no-one was seriously injured in the accident.
I am glad you have your power and internet etc back.
Stay safe! We have been told to go into self isolation for 12 weeks from today for our safety.
Oh my! That’s quite the weekend you had. Hope everyone in the accident is safe and that the beeps in your house have stopped! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang.
It’s tough enough being stuck at home right now, but then to lose power and contact with anyone in the world in really rough. Glad things are up and running again for you.
That is too bad about the power. We know all about losing power. We lost ours for three days and so lost all the human food. But our cat food is just fine. Hope you all have a super day.
I probably wouldn’t have liked all the beeping either but I’m GLAD you guys have power when you need it!!
Hugs, Teddy
That sounds like a really bad crash! We are sorry you were out of power for a while.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
It’s good that the power is back. I hope nobody was hurt in the accident, it must have been a bad one.
Oh Brian just what you don’t want is power out when you are sheltering in place.
Hugs and kisses to your sweet photo
Cecilia
It sure sounds like you had a wild weekend. You are lucky to have that generator thing so you never have to worry about the power going out.
Whoa! I’ll bet that car shouldn’t have been out in the first place. Oh wait, not every state is on lockdown. Enjoy your nap and I hope no one got killed.
Wow! Glad you are safe and just napping to avoid the ‘beeps’ ~ Life is crazier than normal ~ LOL ~ Sweet photo of you ~

Oh that must have been frustrating. I can understand your Dad was ready to use some HBO words lol ๐ I hope those involved in the accident are OK.
You look so sweet and peaceful there, Brian ๐ Happy Monday xo

ooopz……a spellin errorz…that spozed ta bee crack up ๐
I just hate it and so does Mommy when the power goes out. Especially if it’s burning hot or freezing cold. But int that when it generally happens? Look at you sweet face Brian and those very closed eyes. If your mom didn’t lean in land smooch that beautiful Brian cheek…I don’t know how she could have stood it.
Oh goodness and amid all the other chaos going on you had power interruptions. We are glad everything is back to the way it was!
It’s so disruptive when things like that happen! Luke is not a fan of those beeps either. No wonder you are tired today, Brian, that’s a lot of work keeping an eye out for that virus. Good job!
Glad all is okay,
You’re smart to have a generator, sounds like you all came through with flying colors.
Having a generator is smart! Sounds like you all handled the weirdness like pros!
Oh noes, Brian! I certainly hope no one was injured in the crash, but electricity going on and off is just plain annoying. Plus, it can damage your devices; our old TV had it’s speakers blown by a power surge after a blackout, and my nifty heated mattress pad took the pipes in the same way.
P.S. The Hubby would LURV to have a generator, but he’s cheap…
Happy Mancat Monday!! We hope the people involved in the accident are ok. We glad that your power is back on and dad didn’t have to use those HBO words. Keep staying guard making sure that the virus doesn’t come near. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
I hate it when the power is out. Especially when it’s cold outside. I’m glad things are back to normal.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your peeps. โฅ
We hope those beeps are now gone for good. And we hope no one was badly injured in that accident. At least it made for a “change” in our new way of life.
Woos, Lightning and Timber
That sounds bad. Hope the people in the accident are OK.
You look cute!
I am glad you survived your terrible weekend with no power, no Internet, and an angry pack. Lesser packs have been split apart.
I’m glad you were vigilant against the virus while your power was out. You can never be too careful. Hopefully there won’t be any more calamities in your area. This virus thing is enough!
How frustrating! Seems like the world is falling apart all at once…
When we lose power, we lose our land line and that drives me crazy.
Glad yo have a generator! Feel like crazy times all around! hopefully you also have plenty of toiletpaper!
Oh no! What a weekend. We hope this week is much better.
It sounds like a taxing weekend, i hope your week is more restful, with no more accidents or outages.
Our power was out last week, as we are getting new power poles in our neighborhood. Itโs not so bad in the daytime. Brian, you are so cute here. You look as if you are hugging yourself. I hope no one was hurt
OMC hope no one was injured, Brian. Thank Cat you have your power back, now grab it and be strong and beat the virus on๐ธMore Pawkisses for all of you๐พ๐ฝ๐
Being without power is such a bummer. That’s great y’all have a generator. Sorry for the late visit this week. It’s been too crazy!
