Mancat Monday Making Do Too

mancat monday brian 03162020

It’s Mancat Monday and y’all can wake me when the nuttiness is over. Maybe you’ve noticed or maybe you haven’t, but there is a lot of worry in the world right now and us kitties need to help the humans keep their calm, that’s one of the things we do best. We’ve been preparing years for this so let’s get to work.

Okay, snuggle with your humans, purrs at your humans, give head butts to your humans. They need to feel our love, they need to feel our calm and they need to know that we love them as much as they love us. You know what? We can get through this together kitties, so let’s put some smiles on those human faces.

See, I knew you could do it! I’m gonna finish my nap now, but I do have the others looking after our Mom and Dad. I’ll see y’all soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

if we care for others and if we stay strong together (with a distance now) we can conquer this evil virus and the bad things.

Keeping those humans smiling can be a tough job some days, for some humans anyway.

It’s just a mess, but the good news is that the humans seem to be giving up on focusing on toilet paper and are focusing on real problems.

Brian,

I’m so happy to know that you and your furblings are doing your part to keeping the humans in your life calm. The unknown is a driving factor for everyone but some just let it take over and that’s never a good thing. Preparedness is okay. Panic is not okay. We need to remind people to just KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON. I hope others sense the peace that comes from Jesus and is able to share it with others who do not. Have a good week, my furriend!

Brian, I sure have. You ought to see me head butting mom from the minute she gets up in the morning…I almost knock her off the edge of the bed, till the minute that she’s out cold after the light gets turned off. Then I settle on her head and ear. I keep her smiling. You’re right. We need to take up our duties now for our humans.

Brian, just watching sleeping cats is a balm to the worried souls of humans!
This is a first-of-its-kind happening, and we all want to stay safe, as well as everyone we know or don’t know.

that is pawesome advice Brian! I did just that last night. I crawled on Mom’s chest when she was on the couch watching TV last night and I let her kiss me and kiss me. I put my nose to her nose (no social distancing for this kitty!!) and I let her pet me and pet me. I stayed there a long time too. I am the BEST medicine to try and calm Mom down! Stay healthy everyone! Love, Cody
