Hello everyone, I’m here on the couch enjoying some quiet time. There seems to be a lot of quiet time lately, not just for us kitties, but for the humans too. Right now anyways, us kitties are enjoying it. Maybe the quiet will get boring later but we’re not too bored at the moment.
Seriously, it really is quiet. Where we live there always seems to be a lot of noise going on, lots of construction noise and lots of traffic noise. Not so much now. There has been some road re-distruction going on up behind our neighborhood but even they aren’t out working. Also, thhe Mom and Dad go for their daily walk in the neighborhood and usually they hear lots of noise, nothing now, they said there was hardly any traffic to dodge.
Last week there was really only two noisy times, when the garbage humans came and when the lawn humans were here. The garbage humans never take very long and since our grass hasn’t grown much yet the lawn humans were here and gone in a flash too. This much quiet must be what it’s like to live way out in the country.

It is definitely quiet here! My human actually likes how much less traffic there is because usually it is so congested. She is enjoying that while it lasts…
It is always quiet here apart from first thing in the mornings when people use our single track country lane as a rat run to get to work. This week with many people working from home, even that has been quiet.

before I comment I want to say, each time I see your header, it makes me feel happy. I just love it…and keep forgetting to say that…. yes, we have the same thing you do. we live on a busy street and in the city, it is so quiet sometimes is alarms me. I talked with 3 police officers this week and they said they have not much to do. no traffic calls, bars/restruants are closed, no fights, nothing. we are to the place when we hear a car go buy I say 1 car.. there goes a 2nd car.… Read more »

Oh yes, we get that quiet about every day here in the country! Sometimes it gets noisy though, like when someone decides to do some target shooting. Luke HATES that (and so do we). Enjoy your peace and quiet while it lasts!

It’s always been a quiet where we live but we have noticed less road noise with all the schools and businesses closed.
Dad ran out yesterday to get us Noms and the roads were empty. He had to only buy loose cans as they had no cases and no bags of dry that we get as a treat. We hope it all blows over soon
It’s very quiet here too, Zoe. You almost can walk on the highway, so peaceful. Despite of what’s going on in the world, we enjoy this peaceful time and we have beautiful weather, I think that makes it even more bearable😸Pawkisses for a Happy Healthy Weekend🐾😽💞

It’s quieter indeed (except for the neighbor family chatting loud on their deck). I went to Target to look for hand sanitizer and the parking lot was nearly empty ( and the shelf with hand sanitizers was totally empty). Enjoy your quiet, Zoey 🙂

Things are super quiet. While I usually complain about all the noise, noise, noise (cue the Grinch), the reasons behind the silence make it not so enjoyable.

It’s pretty normal around here….at least noise level.
We are going on a “stay at home” order effective Tuesday. We are wondering if our trash guys and lawn guys will be able to even work. It is very quiet here too. Some of the grands stopped by to drop off some food, but they didn’t come in, something about keeping a safe distance. It made us very sad, because we just love seeing them.

It is the lack of traffic at night that igets to my parents . There is a main road by their house which is now silent. It is freaky

Oh yes, Zoe, it is very quiet here lately, too. Our dad has been working from home, so he and mom go walking when he finishes up each day. There has hardly been any traffic, or even very many people around.
