Our Daddy is home! Oh, yes, it’s Mancat Monday but it’s also Dadcat Monday because I’m sure glad to have him home, we all are. He got home yesterday and boy did I come running to greet him, so did Zoe and so Dolly. Silly Simon and Seal were in hiding.
Anyways, the EMS crew showed up to help Dad because he was having some chest pain and shortness of breath. Away he went in the bambulance. The Dad had a stress test yesterday morning and the Doctors said he aced it, that his heart looks purrfect. That’s really good news, we did a happy dance when we heard that. So, he will be going to see his regular Doctor to see what might have caused the issues. The Dad said to tell you all thanks so much for the outpouring of love and kindness and the well wishes were so thoughtful and nice. He loves you all too.
The hospital took good care of the Dad, the staff was terrific and the food was yummy, seriously it was, they don’t have a cafeteria, they have a restaurant and you order from a menu and they cook it and fetch it to you. Saturday night we had a tornado warning but the tornado went just north of us by a few miles. That meant the it was headed right towards the hospital where the Dad was at.

You can see the Super Cell storm gathering from Dad’s hospital room. The storm went right over the hospital but it didn’t touch down. All of the patients were evacuated from their rooms and put in interior hallways. It was an EF2 and touched down a few miles further east and did lots of damage. That was some Saturday night.
We’ll be around to try and catch up. Love and hugs everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
That is the best news to start our week! We are so happy that your Dad is home and that he aced the stress test. We hope the regular doctor can figure out the problem and that he will feel 100% soonest.
Nice pic, Brian!
Purrs, Woofs, Neighs and Hugs,
Everyone at The Poupounette
That is great news and a wonderful start to the week. I am very glad your dad passed the heart tests with flying colours.
I am also very glad that the hurricane didn’t touch down by the hospital. A hurricane must be scary enough when you are at home, but a lot worse when you are away from home.
I hope the regular doctor can figure out what the problem was and stop it from happening again.
Hugs and love sent to your mom and dad!
I am so thankful Dad is home and that the tornado missed all of you… So glad the heart is purrfect.. all this added to our chaotic virus world is just to much to deal with.. glad you are all safe now
This is fantastic news. We’re SO thankful your dad is home and that the issue wasn’t his heart. Hopefully it’s nothing to be concerned about and is easily resolved. Continued purrs and purrayers from us.
Thank goodness your dad is home and doing well! Our Gramma has heart issues and it is so scary! You all rest now and take good care of your dad.
Oh we are SOOOOOO glad that Dad Terry is all right and back home. Best news every. You all have a great day.
It’s a great news about your dad and I hope his regular doctor will be able to figure out the cause of issues he experienced. Continued purrs for him xo
Well Mr. Brian I am officially doing my happy hummingbird dance. Which is quite special only done for very special occasions like Dad coming home and the arrival oh my little winged jewels in the spring. I talked to favorite sis and BIL of angel Madi yesterday afternoon. She told us their phone apps ‘blew up’ with tornado warnings. Sis and BIL grabbed Mia and Frisco and off to the coat closet in the foyer. While they were in there BIL’s weather app said there was a tornado warning on their street. Thankful it appeared to be a glitch on… Read more »
PS I forgot to tell you it was 2:45 am Sunday Morning when all that excitement started. MOL MOL

Purrs,Georgia and Julie
oh Brian that is the best news this monday!!!! we hope all the best and we are so happy that he is back with you and your furmily..
What wonderful, hoped for news! Lots of love to you and the entire family.
What wonderful news! Yay for Dad!!! What a scary storm. I am so glad that everyone in your family is okay.
I am so glad he is alright and home.
OH MY GOSH….not only a trip to the hosp but to have to deal with health issues and a tornado….that is so crazy. Well with that said, so glad that dad was able to get through both those issues. Dad, stay on the mend and stay well. The fur babes love you and need you to stay around.
Of course that HEART is PurrFect! Did we really need a test to tell us that? Of course not. Every kitty, every woofie, and every human purrson who knows CatDadTerry already knows he has a PurrFect Heart! And stress: well everyone is a wee bit stressed these days, it just takes a little bit more hugging (with 6-foot long arms) and a little more patience (not the hospital kind tho) and a little more long-distance lovin’ … and the stress gets eased away … So here’s a long-distance hug and some long-distance love! Dougie Dog, Angel Zoey, Angel Maggy (and… Read more »
Wow, that is way too much excitement for one weekend, and you all sound pretty cool about it but I know it had to be scary at home and in the hospital. Glad your Dadcat is home and well!
OH! I missed this news, but am darn glad the Daddycat is home! And what a crazy tornado thing going on; thank goodness it didn’t hit the hospital.
Thank COD your Daddy is home and is okay. That tornado had to be scary!!!
The Florida Furkids
Yay dad! It’s scary and annoying when they can’t figure out what is going on. My favorite photo of the past two weeks was the double dangle one with Seal’s feet! There are no cats in the adoption center for us to visit right now, the room is too small to be socially distant while processing an adoption.
My first stop this morning and what great news. I’ve been smiling the entire time I read this post. What a wonderful day for you and a wonderful day for all those that love you and your kitties.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥
We are so glad the Dad is home and safe. Whew, rushed to the hospital and a tornado!
xxoo
Rufus, Mickey, and Ernie too
We’re so glad to hear you dad is home again and feeling good. Our paws are staying crossed for him in hopes that the doctor can figure out what happened.
OMC! What a series of unfortunate events that all ended well, thank goodness! We were all worried, and sending purrs and prayers and POTP and are over the moon with your good news, thanks Brian!
This is absolutely fabulous news that your dad aced his test and that the tornado did not touch down at that hospital. Sounds more like a four-star hotel! Hope his doctor doesn’t find anything when he visits. The entire blogosphere loves Dad Terry and the prayers were flowing. Take good care of him and your mom too XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Oh so glad your Daddy is home ~ take good care of him ~ lots of distant healing energy hugs for you all ~

aka (A Creative Harbor)
So glad the DadCat is home and feeling better! We had to deal with the tornado warnings, too; but thankfully it didn’t touch down here, either. It sure made us all nervous though!!!
What a GREAT way to start our Monday! Learning your Dad is home AND hey haven’t found anything wrong with his “ticker” is SUCH GOOD NEWS. Now they can just figure out why the shortness of breath and pain. One step at a time – especially with health stuff. For now – just enjoy having your Dad where he should be – HOME SWEET HOME!
Hugs, Teddy
Wow Brian, you guys had a rough few days what with worry about Dad Terry and then a super storm! Happy dancing here that Dad T is home and his heart proved strong. Sending purrs to you all
Sending healing purrz to your dad. The crony virus can stress people out like that and two of the symptoms are chest pain and shortness of breath. Purraying that your dad is ok cos this is the worst time to visit a doctor’s office or go to hospital at least around these parts. We love your dad so much.
Oh Brian, that’s pawsum mews. We’re so happy all is well once again. And, we’re glad ya’ll stayed safe. Big hugs and continuing purrayers.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I am glad your Dad is home and healthy. XO
Welcome home, Dad Terry! This news has made our day!
I’m so glad your human is home, Brian, especially after that tornado scare.
Great news all over except where the tornado touched down. Glad Dad is home. 🙂🐶
Oh, thank goodness the dad is ok and didn’t get swept to Oz, too. We all prayed for him and wondered how he was. How great to read this update.
We are so glad your Dad is home!
We’re not used to having hurricanes in England so that looks really scary to us. Glad it missed you.
Purrs xx
What WONDERFUL news! I came over to see if there was any “dad news,” and found the MOST WONDERFUL of news of all! PURRS
Oh, Brian, we were waiting for this great update about your Dad and are so happy that it all turned out so well. So glad for the good news about your Dad ! Purrayers and POTP to all of you !
We are delighted you are home, Terry. Clean bill of health too. You’ll see what may have been the cause of the problem down the road.
That tornado would be a scary thing to go through. Thank goodness you were evacuated to a safe place.
Shoko and Jean
We are so happy that Dad is home and that all is well, except for the not knowing what caused the problem. HOpefully his doctor can figure it out. And thank dogness that tornado didn’t do any harm to the hospital – that must have been so scary.
We love that suncatcher on your window.
Woos, Lightning and Timber
Glad your dad is good now. What a close call with that tornado!
Hooray! We’re so happy to read this update, Brian. That’s the best news ever that your wonderful dad is back at home, and that his heart checked out purrfectly. We’re also glad the tornado didn’t touch down on the hospital (though we are sad that it did touch down and cause damage elsewhere). We are sending purrs that Dad’s regular doctor’s goes well. Hugs!
We are all glad your dad is home and doing well. We hope he gets plenty of rest and we know he has the best team at home around him to make him feel better. Have a great rest of your week.
That’s such wonderful news! Purrs they find the problem quickly and can fix it easily!
What a double scare! Poor Dad. I’m happy your dad is back home safe, and I hope he’s feeling better. I know you all are taking excellent care of him.
Yay, we’re sure glad the Dad is back home! All of that was sure a stressful time for all of you. So glad everything turned out OK. ♥
Gracious, it never rains but it pours! So glad to hear your Dad is okay, i will pray they find out what was wrong and it was minor and easy to take care of.
What a great news, happy to hear your dad is home. Anytime that one gets home is a good news. Hope the follow up appts with the dr will give you a reason why that happened. In the meantime, we will keep sending you our best healing purrs okay?
Best news I read all day; so happy for dad and mom and the furbies.
We’re so glad to hear your dad is all right. What a scare! And do you know what? That move-to-the-hallways also happened to our mom when she was in the hospital! Of course, that was eons and eons ago so it probably wasn’t the same tornado.
We are thrilled your dad is home and doing well. We are sending lots of prayers that nothing like that ever happens again. I think all you cats should join daddy for a big snuggle.
Hey Purrz and Prayerz going on here from us Katie Katz and Mom!!!
Glad the Dad is home. You all be safe.
We are SO glad your dad is home. Hopefully whatever happened to his heart was a fluke.
We are so glad your dad is home and safe
Love all the photos! Dad please get some extra TLC and we will be praying. It’s scary to not feel well and have chest pain. Been there, done that too! Hoping it is just the stress of these weird times because we know the felines are your fun place. P;ease care take you and your wife both.
I’m glad your Dad is back home. Hopefully his doctor will be able to give him some answers as to what caused the chest pain.
Yay ! We’re so glad your dad is back home, and feels better ! We hope the doctor can figure out what happens. Purrs
Oh, we’re so happy to hear the dad’s back home and doing well. So glad he aced his stress test, too! Gotta keep them old tickers running like clockwork if we’re gonna keep them around to take care of us, I say.

OMC!!! It wasn’t bad enough that your Dad was in the hospital but then a tornado was added to the equation???? OMC!! Thank goodness it didn’t touch down! Glad at least the food was tasty! MOL! Also THRILLED Dad aced his stress test, that is pawesome news!!!
Thank goodness your dad aced his test. Hopefully his regular doctor can give some ideas and get him feeling perfect. My dad had weirdness going on a few months back and after the ER doctors determined he wasn’t having a heart attack or stroke, they figured out that he was deficient in vitamin B-12. We hope your dad’s situation is something easily fixable like my dad’s was.
Meowing with joy that your Dad is home. Sorry we couldn’t make it by sooner. So glad to hear that your Dad passed his stress test with flying colors. Paws crossed the Regular MD can get to the bottom of his symptoms.
Oh my, oh my, oh my! You don’t have enough going on in your lives with lovely cats, a pandemic and a trip in a bambulance, you have to schedule a tornado on top of it? Yikes. I am so glad the Dadcat is ok. Whew. Deep breaths, napping, sun spots, a little bit of petting – that’s the ticket to cure all ills!
So glad your dad is home and feeling better. Make sure he takes it easy. X
Yay dat are pawesome news and wow dat hospital sounds fancy!!! We hope your Dad is getting lots of good rest dis week 🙂
xoxo,
Matt & Matilda
Lulu: “Yay! We’re very glad your Dad is back home and that he aced his stress test!”
Charlee: “And that the storm missed the hospital where he was staying!”
Chaplin: “Wait, I want to hear more about this hospital food. Do you think I can order some from here?”
