See, see, see, somebody broke my carrot, they really did. Well, you might have known, it was me, I tore it apart, yup, I did. The Dad and I have this game and he seems to really like it. He puts the tops back on my carrot and then I take them off. He puts the tops back on and I take them off again. I don’t get it though, after 6 or 7 times he stops playing. I can’t put the tops back on by myself Dad!
That’s okay, I do make my own fun sometimes. Hey, remember when I slept through the night and many of you thought is was just a one time thing to confuse the Mom and Dad? Well, now I know why the Dad says our blogging pals are so smart. It was just a one time thing and I’ve been rippin’ n’ runnin’ every night. Seal joins me in the nightly exercise program too and no one else really seems to mind.
Well….maybe Brian doesn’t care for the late night running thing. The other night Seal and I ran right past where he was sleeping several times, maybe one too many times. Brian jumped up, chased me, cornered me at the cat tree and told me to knock it off. Oh no, so what did I do? I’m not stupid, I went and curled up in the cat tree for a while. Sorry Bro, I know your beauty sleep is important.
Enjoy your Tabby Tuesday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
a broken carrot… hmmm… you should get a new one right?
What a fun game! I don’t get why your human stops after only a few times, though.
Oh Simon, your face!
You must have really annoyed Brian with your tearing around when he was trying to sleep.
It wasn’t me…MOL…Happy hunting, Simon🙊😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
We think that 6 or 7 times is pretty good going, Simon!
Oops! It’s important to be respectful of your seniors, Simon, especially when they are resting!
Purrs,Tama and Genji
We are glad our kitties sleep at night as we all need our beauty rest 🙂
Oh Simon, that is one terrific look on your face. Too bad the Dad gets tired of your game of retrieving. You all have a fine Tuesday.
Simon, maybe the Easter Bunny destroyed your carrot? Sorry to hear your awake at night pattern is back in full force – sorry for mom and dad that is.
Yeah, Simon, I know that thing where we wait for the usual assistance and it doesn’t happen. WE are patient, why aren’t they? Have to say Enjoyed Brian taking up his position of enforcing a few house rules he laid down for everyone. After all, he IS the Leader of all of you.
Uhoh………..a guy with a broken carrot and Dad isn’t fixing it for you? Doesn’t he know you don’t have thumbs? I bet sooner or later he’ll jam those leaves back in the carrot for you and THE GAME WILL BEGIN AGAIN!
Hugs, Teddy
That’s Brian, putting his big brotherly paw down!
That sounds like a fun game, we don’t know why your Dad stops playing.
The Florida Furkids
I would love to play that carrot game with you. Usually, when mom plays with me, I am the one who gets bored first.
We don’t understand why your dad stopped fixing your carrot. Maybe he will just get you another carrot soon.
Poor carrot!
thanks for a great story, we are bored to death here. dog and people.. i want OUT… i enjoyed the zoom the stairs and laughed out loud GUESSING what Brian might have said/done to you
You do look a bit quizzical in your sweet photo ~ they need to turn you counterclockwise on table ~ to reset your clock ~ when my son was a baby ~ his grandfather did that and It worked!

That sounds like a fun game. Just don’t choke on the carrot top.
Oh Simon, you are a wild one 😉 We bet you keep the household lively!!
You may have to be careful about your sleeping siblings though so you don’t get grounded 🙂
MOL!
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Love your carrot story. Dad can only play so long so enjoy the time he gives you. There’s always tomorrow to do it again.
If you love running all night then it’s what you’re going to do no matter what. Good for you.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your peeps. ♥
nice of you to calm down–if only for a moment!- in appreciation of your brother’s need for beauty sleep!
Oh no, not the carrot. Have a good week.
Only 7 times?! MOL! Have a great week Mr. Simon Zoomie!
Frankie and Floki do the late-night running around in our house. Chris used to as well when he was young and skinny.
Oh Simon, you look a bit perturbed…We sure hope your Dad relented and put the top back on…for you to take off BOL!

Jakey, Arty & Rosy
Oh the broken toys! We get that a lot around here. Dogs and cats play too rough! You always have the best photos. LOve stopping by. Have a good week and stay happy.
Whoa! I didn’t even know those carrot came apart.
Well, that’s what big brothers do, Simon! The carrot game seems fun…humans have short attention spans. LOL
Good for you, understanding your brother needs rest and letting him get it. Enjoy your carrot game!

Matilda (& Matt)
Sounds like you and your Dad have a fun game, but he needs to build up his stamina so he can play longer. It was smart of you to listen to Brian and take a rest from all that late night zooming.
You look like you’re saying, “Well?!?!?! DO SOMETHING!”
Happy Tabby Tuesday!! The carrot game sounds like a really pawsome game to play. Your dad I’m sure will be playing with you soon. That face in the photo is just the best. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
I don’t think you dad should leave your carrot uncapped. You wouldn’t do that to him.
That sounds like a fun game, Simon. We wonder how come Dad tires of it so quickly? MOL
I don’t have a carrot like that. Mine is full of nip!
Such a fun way to get in aerobics, steps and exercise!(lol) Hugs, RO
That game with your dad sounds like a lot of fun ! Too bad he stops after a few times ! Purrs
Oh my, it doesn’t sound like there’s a lot of sleeping going on at night at your house! X
tell that Dad to get on fixing that carrot again and I am so happy you are back to your late night running!!
Charlee: “Are you SURE it was you who broke the carrot?”
Chaplin: “It seems to us that you should probably be looking for a very large rabbit.”
Lulu: “Way to throw Bugs Bunny under the bus, you guys.”
