Important Note: Even though Marg posted today, she asked that you not visit her blog. She was spammed big time and they tried to steal some of her $$$. Although it’s fixed, she probably won’t be be posting for a while out of caution. When you see her post again it will be safe. Thanks.

Hello gang, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for new yum that really isn’t new, but I guess it’s not old either. I mentioned before that we were having some challenges tracking down some of our favorite yummy foods. Well, there was one that we happen to have a good bit of that we all quit eating some time ago. Well, the Dad popped the top on one of the cans and the yum was everywhere. We all enjoyed it again. Has that ever happened to you?

It is sort of funny, I guess, but I supposed that’s why the Dad didn’t take it to the shelter, he probably knew we’d like it again after some time had passed. It’s the same way with toys sometimes too. Yepper, what’s old is new again!

So what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Everything old is new again. That’s why you can’t give the same treat every day, it gets boring. Have a fabulous Thursday!

We are glad you all enjoyed that old but new yum, Brian! We are going to try some new foods here, just to try to diversify in case we have any trouble finding our regular foods at a later date. 🙂

We too are thankful for old yum isn’t that funny. When Dad could not get our favorite from Chewy he got some we had in a taste test when they still had those. We like it so we get some old and some new yum each meal. Tell you the truth we are thankful that we and our friends are eating alright.
I would be really thankful if you came to my Gotcha Day party today too

Sometimes we get tired of food but after a while we’ll go back to it. That happened with me and one of my brands of raw food last year.

Yes! We have had that experience. If we tell #1 we don’t like something, she just puts it to one side and then brings it out again at a later date and we often decide we like it after all!

Have a good Thursday!

Memories of Eric and Flynn

I am glad you all enjoyed your old but new yum! When it was just Flynn I had countless different varieties and would bring an older one out in the hope that he would like it again. Eric would eat anything and everything!

Little Binky and Granny

Sometimes I like the old food again, Brian, but only for a day or two…I think my memory is delated…MOL. We’re always Thankful to see you all here😸Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Thankful Day. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞

This is exactly why mom and dad have to switch up my special canned stinky goodness. I’ll get bored with one, leaving it to dry out and go to waste. Then I get another variety, which I’ll lap up… until I get bored with that one. On and on it goes.

Yes, Mom rotates our toys because we get bored with the same ones. I’m sure it is the same with food.

First thanks for hosting THANKFULS on Thursday…….secondly I get that way about my treats – all of the sudden I decide I don’t like one kind – Mom puts it back in the cupboard and a week later tries it again and I adore it. We are for sure persnickity pussycats after all ! Like to keep our humans on their toes. Tee Hee

What a most handsome selfie…WOW
Why are Felines are notorious for literally detesting a food they liked 24 hours earlier?
Unpredictable is part one of the million things that intrigue those of us who love you?
Thank you for the notice about Marg. That very thing happened to me about 5 years ago…Message insisted I had to call ‘them’ disguised as microsoft to get my computer turned on , which I did for a price. After it was all over I signed up with the Geek Squad.

you have lots to be thankful for.. and YUM is top of the list. we have only been owned by dogs and they all would eat anything and everything, old, new, stale, rotted. dogs are like that. you cats sound like ME… i get tired of food and will stop eating it. then i will eat it a lot, then stop…

Oh, you cats do like to keep things challenging when it comes to the food, don’t you? I’m not sure I ever tried it that with Sam, but I think that might have worked! I always gave the food she got tired of away, but at least my sister’s cat benefited! MOL

Sometimes we need a little variety. Spice things up! P.s. we had a little trouble joining the hop – sorry we did it three times!

TW is nodding in agreement. She donates a lot of my rejected food but sometimes after not getting something for awhile, I’ll dig in like it’s the greatest thing. Then a day later, I’ll snub it again. For that reason, she usually doesn’t donate until a couple of months before the expiration date. There’s a funny story about the toys that doesn’t involve me. One year Grampa gave Chizzy a smousey toy for Christmas. No one could figure out where he got the toy since he was housebound and there was no online stuff. Chizzy went crazypants over that smousey.… Read more »

We hope things sort out for Marg. Why do some people have to be so bad!!!

We usually stick to the same kibble, but we do like it when Mom mixes up the different varieties of canned food we get a little of.] on top of our kibble.

I’m so glad to hear that Dad is keeping you well fed even if he has to get a little creative to do it! Did you know that Tsunami’s appetite has been off as of late? Last week I was SO worried about him – I was convinced that this was a sign of all sorts of terrible things. But now, I am hoping that perhaps he is just getting over a cold and hoping his appetite will be picking back up soon. (He has been in good spirits and showing a little more interest in food as of late,… Read more »

I am so glad that your Dad kept it. It can delight you yet again. We find that with toys – put them away for a while and they become very popular when they come out again. Stay healthy, my friends!

Oh yeah, I do that with Little Rat’s toys and he loves them almost as if they were new again. I’m thankful I haven’t taken the scissors from the knife block in the kitchen and tried to cut my hair. At least I haven’t done it yet. Have a lovely weekend, guys and gals.
