Hello everyone, we’re back and thank you for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for food stuffs, yep, food stuffs. Actually I think all of us here are thankful for food stuffs. This virus thing has shopping all messed up, at least it is for us. But, the important thing is that we’re not out of food. We’ve been able to get some food, even if it isn’t our favorites, but at least it’s food and it’s okay. The Mom has been able to do some hunting once a week and comes back with food for her and Dad too.
We sure tried to be nice and not hoard but apparently some hoarders bought up all of our favorites. We find some occasionally and that’s okay, we know things will get better, really it will, and I know all of us will be really thankful when that happens.
Oh, I forgot to mention, we’ve been able to get our favorite litter too. I don’t know who is more thankful, us or the peeps. MOL! So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We have to order the special diet food from Chewy, and we’ve placed the order a bit early and it came, so we are thankful here to have what our kitties v-e-t says they have to have. Enjoy your noms!
We are glad you and your family are hanging in there and doing okay, Brian. Even if you have not been able to get all your favorite foods. You’re right. Things are going to get better at some point. Hugs and headbonks to you all.
Luckily, no one hoarded cat food around here.
Our food run is also once a week, unless because of work I get to sneak in for those I take care of.
That sure is a good thankful. We have the same one at our house as Dad found what we all need so far. Purrs all our friends have too
Pipo’s faves are definitely in short supply…even with Chewy…they came in five shipments…wow. Usually it all comes in one big box, every two months.
My human hasn’t been able to get my favorite raw food, for a reason totally unrelated to the current isolation (hopefully the company will resolve that soon!). However, she hasn’t been able to get some of her own favorite food, exactly because of the isolation situation.
Our local store stopped accepting special monthly orders during this virus crazy time. We got the last case of food, then ordered more from some online retailers. We’re stocked up for about 2 months but Mom needs to order more just to be safe. It’s the only food that doesn’t upset my tummy. It’s good that you kitties are flexible with your food, but I hope you find your favorite food in stock soon.
we hear ya!!! we could not even shop online, they said they can no longer process orders… but last night we got a mail, that we are vip customers and they have special offers for us… yay for our shopaholic mom ;O)
You look like you just woke up, Brian!
I am glad your mum has been able to get food for all of you. We can’t get supermarket deliveries as there are never any slots available. Luckily we can get fruit and veg delivered by a small local farm and meat delivered from a local butcher. A friend picks up the other essentials once a week for us so we are managing okay.
Oh dude, we know that purroblem, there’s been only dust on the shelves here for weeks! Dad and the P.A. went out to check on the work premises yesterday and they drove through the local villages and one little supermarket looked like it had quite a good food supply, and our local village shop had a few things available, so they got a few things. We’ve just found out that the UK has another 3 weeks of lockdown, stay safe guys! XOX
My Mom says she used to enjoy shopping but it’s just not fun when you have to visit SEVERAL stores to find things you need. We hope things get “normal” (whatever that is!) soon. Glad you all are OK with food and important things…………we are for now too! Thanks for hosting “Thankful Thursday” – we really do have a lot to be thankful for.
Hugs, Teddy
lol I think the humans are more thankful for the litter, at least they are here.
so glad you are getting food, even if it is not what you love.. with a BIG dog named Big, we buy 2 months supply at one time,. that means Big gets his same food each day. of course he gets supplemental people food to.. that is why he is BIG. ha ha
Brian dear furiend, you are right about shopping being messed up! A couple days ago, my dear furiend, Angel, reported that his Chewy box took nearly a week to arrive! How disturbing is that?
Purrseidon
It’s crazy what the hoarders have bought up. Mom had to hunt for kitty litter for Gramma’s cat. Luckily we have food and our kitties do too. Mom says finding food for herself is getting a bit better, but still no toilet paper or baking goods on the shelves. Crazy times!!
We are glad you managed to get food. It’s very hard for us too in the UK. So far we’re OK with food and essentials, but very hard to get deliveries online because all slots are taken. It’s hard too at the supermarket because you have to queue outside for a long time.
SO far, mom can get what I eat with a couple of changes…so far. Mom and I are tired of this and hope things get better.
So glad that you all have enough foods. We are very lucky that we have enough litter too. Hope all of you have a super day.
We’ve been lucky here getting our favorite food, it is the litter that is driving us crazy! You are handsome as ever Brian, y’all stay safe and healthy.
Oh I hear you Brian…my Mama said often, We have to make do. A saying she used a lot that she probably learned from her parents during the great depression….
Some of the making do has lead to us finding things we never tried but OMCs we like
Hugs Cecilia
We always get a double order of our dry food from Chewy to save on shipping and had just received it when this craziness started. We hope you can find your favorite noms soon.
The Florida Furkids
Ahh, good litter is so important and I bet the lot of you are thankful for that. I’m thankful that it’s dropped 30 some degrees and may rain and snow today. I’m hoping it will stay cold and rainy and maybe snowy too so maybe I can get more time safer distance time at the parks.
We are so glad you’ve been able to at least find something for food, even if it’s not your favorites. We wish people would be less selfish, and think of others….but some people just don’t get it.
We have hope this will all be over soon! ♥
I am glad you are not out of food. I am disappointed that even Chewy can’t keep it in stock. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day! XO
Kitties Blue are thankful that our annual round-up has been postponed. Thankfully our dad has not had any trouble getting our foodables or litter. Stay well everyone. Mom will Join the hop when she gets on the computer. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
We’re thankful for food too. Our pawrents are supposed to get their first delivery of groceries this morning. We’ll see how that goes.
We are thankful for getting food too. Sometimes we don’t get exactly what we want either, but food is food and we all need to eat. Kitties, puppies and people.
I’m thankful that I found all you kitties and your peeps.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Brian- thanks for Thankful Thursday! You always make our day! Cheers!
Brian, it’s weird out there! Luckily, we’ve been able to find what we need so far for Eastside Cats…and for the humans too.
Oh yes ~ foodstuff important for us all ~ and definitely for our fur persons ~ Sweet kitty photo ~

I’m glad you have something to eat. TW pushed our Chewy and Petco orders up last month but it had nothing to do with crony virus. I’m glad she did cos we got everything. On the other paw, they decided to not go to the supermarket anymore and they can’t get a delivery time slot so they may have to go out and risk their lives.
Hi Brian, we’re so grateful for so many things today. We’re also grateful for our food and litter, and we’re not running low at all. We’re glad our mom and our loved ones and friends are safe and well, and that our mom can work from home. Be safe!
I can not stop entering my post twice this is so maddening but sometime the system moves more quickly than I do. I guess I need to stand back! We had to order littler and it is not their favorite. UGH! But grateful to have something. As for food we were well stocked. We ran short of littler and treats and you know, you can not have that! Stay safe and we pray this will end sooner then later. Have a great day!
I am thankful for so much, including having enough food for our pets and ourselves. And for my family and, especially this Easter weekend, for Jesus.
And I’m sorry that somehow I entered the linky twice. I hope you and people and your pets stay safe.
We’re so glad Mom was able to find food you could eat (even if it wasn’t your first choice!)
Tsunami and Magellan can get VERY picky if they don’t like what we put in front of them
(Tsunami is a tad more gracious but Magellan? He will just scowl and walk away!)
More importantly, we’re grateful that in this season WE’VE been able to keep stocked with most of what we need.
Have a very blessed Easter weekend! 🙂
I’m thankful mom ordered extra food and litter. We’re never gonna run out! MOL. Mom didn’t want someone else having to worry about what food we eat, what litter we use, and where to get it in case something happened to her, so it’s the one thing she go crazy with.
So far, we have been lucky. #1 always keeps a good supply of our favourite food in stock, and she was able to place an order at our usual online shop last week. WE hope you’ll be able to get your favourites next time!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
We are OK when it comes to our food. Mom does autoship with Chewy.com and she is usually stocked ahead. So far no problems for us with what we usually purchase. The peeps aren’t as lucky. They aren’t going to any stores so they rely on our two sisters who live in the area to get some things for us and then supplement with online orders. But there are still a lot of essentials that either aren’t in the stores when the girls shop or don’t show up in our online orders. All is OK, though – the peeps are… Read more »
Food has been a real trick in all this, hasn’t it? Our mom got a 12 pack of food we don’t usually get because there wasn’t a lot available, but *she’s* the one who doesn’t like it–it’s mostly gravy and of course we’re in 7th heaven. She tells us we have to eat the meat too but we ask why when we have Izzy to take care of that part.
So I guess we’re thankful for that little vacuuming chub.
~Elliott & Ivan.
Having food is good even if it’s not the food you like the best.
Mudpie is thankful that I’ve been able to stay stocked up on her beloved squeezies through this nightmare!
I don’t know why the cat food section is wiped out and there are lots in the dog food section. I think people are afraid to be at home with a hungry cat with no food.
Oh, Brian, we’re so glad that your mom founds food and litter. I remember when this virus stepped into our lives, we paid high purrize for half of my food, but now it’s all back normal….and normal purrizes Thank Cat👼It sure will get better, we just have to be a little more patience and it will all turn out fine, we believe that too. Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie…always🙏🐾😽💞
We’re all thankful for food as well. I’m glad your mom has been able to find some food for you all while she’s been out.
thankfully Cody gets his food through Chewy which was just a few days later than normal. Dakota is now on kidney food so he gets his at the Vet…….as for us, I could stand to skip some meals for sure!!!! It’s just so strange ordering food online from the grocery store and praying certain things are available. Thankfully Lenny does curbside pick up which is a huge help and helps to keep him safer. Praying everyone is safe and well. Sending lots of love!
I managed to get cat food and litter – I got a new litter so hope the family like it.
Thankful all those who don’t hoard. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week. Stay safe and healthy.
