Howdy gang, thanks for coming by on Mancat Monday. Let me tell you, after the noisy week we had we were all more than ready for a quiet weekend. Guess what? We got one and enjoyed all of the quiet time, every minute of it.
As you can see, I’m way upstairs on the upper landing, and I’m enjoying the view from up here. Simon comes up here a lot too, not only at night but we come up during the day too. In addition to having a kitty play room up here the Dad has his music room here. He comes up almost every day and plays his guitars and piano. Silly Simon loves to sit on the Dad’s lap when he is playing the piano. He wants petted though so the Dad ends up doing more petting than he does keyboarding.
Oh, and several of you were wondering about our feral family Little Mama and her kittens. Well, they’ve been back eating. We’re not really sure where she is hiding them when they aren’t eating and playing but we’ll be trying to figure that out. She is a very good Mum to her kittens and very protective too.

Feral mama cats are very fierce and protective of their babies, which is why it’s fascinating to have Sweetie inside now, where she is more kittenlike than I’ve ever known her to be. When she had her last litter of kittens in 2009, she moved them all over the place before they were six weeks old; we barely saw them!
I’m glad you have some peace and quiet, and that Simon, what a lovey boy – making music with Dad in a different way than Dad intended, I’m sure the purrs and the piano sound good together though. Sending purrs and prayers that you’re able to nab those kittens when it is time!
Ohhhh Brian I didn’t know Dad was a musician. I love guitar of all kinds particularly fond of instrumentals in guitar and piano.
