Howdy, it’s Tabby Tuesday and I’m here and I’m sure glad you are too. See, I don’t always run up and down the stairs full speed. Sometimes I stop and just watch what is going on down in the living room. You sure can see a lot from this vantage point.
Sometimes I sit up here and shout just as loud as I can. Why? I want someone to come play with me. It always works…NOT! Sometimes I jump on on the high railing and shout. That doesn’t get someone to play with me either, but the Mom does shout back at me sometimes. She seems to think my name is Getdown Simon.
Oh, you know what else? Yesterday Brian told you we had something that we’ve not had for a long while and I’ve never had. Well, guess who got spooked by it. Seems I was the only one afraid of it. Oh well, I still have my stairs! Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Simon, it looks like you’re spying on some cat. Which one? Or is it a human you’re supervising? Tell your Dad we’re still thinking of him and hope he’s doing well!
I love the stairs at my house too – mine are circular!
we would love to play with you and we would like to shout as loud as we can … imagine that… the humans would be… well happy… or so LOL
I bet you don’t miss a thing from up there, Simon!
Oh that face! You are just so adorable!
You’ve got a great vantage point, Simon! I imagine jumping on the high railing draws a very intense attention 😀
Hi Simon, what a great picture of you. Love those eyes. Can’t wait to the see the scary item. Hope you made it through the storm all right.
Those stairs sound like a lot of fun. WE live on one level so we can’t run up and down.
WE do have some tall things though, so it is kinds similar and we have windowsills.
We can’t wait to see what scared you.
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Simon! What IS it??
Simon, there is no doubt in my mind that you have Maine Coon blood in your veins; look at the shape of your face…and those ear furnishings of yours! Consider yourself given a big ‘ol SMOOCH, handsome!
What a purrfect SPY SPOT Simon – you can keep an eye out!
Hugs, Teddy
My name used to be Getdown growing up.
That’s a pawsome place to hang out.

You have a great stare for sure. So you sing the song of your people to get their attention. Adorable.
Okay this clue about the Thursday post has me thinking in a different direction. You were spooked by whatever it is and no one else was.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Simon are you hiding away to scared the other cats? Or do you just enjoy observing everything others do? You are sure a handsome Simon! Have a great week. HUGS
I do that on my stairs too! I get a good view of the kitchen.
If I live closer I would come and play with you
I like to shout on the stairs too, Simon. Seems my voice is louder there. ~Ernie
Who blinked first, Simon??? Those peeps can be so strange – our Mom sometimes thinks our names are NoLightning or StopTimber??? What’s up with that?
Woos, Lightning and Timber
Pee Ess, we are thinking maybe that surprise is that silly red dot???
I’d come play with you!
What a great view!
Shouting for attention? Perfectly behaved you?
Enjoy the stairs!
My, what big eyes you have, Simon! We feel like nothing gets by you. Can’t wait to find out what the big spooky thing was!
Who could resist those eyes?
You were stairing from the stares? Or do I have that backwards. I’m beginning to form a guess what Brian was talking about but I’ll keep it to myself.
Simon – as far as I am concerned, you are welcome to your high-up vantage point as long as you don’t decide to pounce on someone from way up there!
What a great vantage point, Simon! We bet you see everything from up there!
Looks like you are ready to zoooom, Simon!
xoxo,
