Hello gang, here we go with Tabby Tuesday once again. You know me, I’m ready to romp on a moments notice. There’s an old saying though, it says look before you leap. I guess it’s an old saying because the Dad told it to me and he’s pretty old. Well, as it turns out it’s a pretty accurate saying, you should always look before you leap.
As you can see from my photo, I’m getting ready to leap from the cat tree down to the chair where Seal lays. I always leap down from up high and give her head a bath. You probably remember me saying that from time to time. I wash Seal’s head and then she washes me under my neck. So, leap away I did.
Oops! It wasn’t Seal in the chair, it was Brian. Oops, I didn’t stay long and I didn’t wash his head either. Okay, I jumped out of the chair and ran down the hall. Sorry Brian. Oh, Brian and I get along fine as long as I don’t get all up in his face. That leap might have qualified as some serious face time. Yes, yes, yes, look before you leap, always!
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, I’ll see ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We all make mistakes, Simon.
I bet that surprised you when it wasn’t Seal, and surprised Brian even more!
Perhaps you need the equivalent to Air Traffic Control? You know, to keep you away from other cats and ensure safe landings and take-offs?
oh oops… we agree with looking before da leap… LOL
Gosh that spot you have for observation looks so comfy I don’t think I would leave it even to surprise one of my siblings with a visit!
Uh oh…big mistake. I bet you were both quite surprised!
That is OK Simon, Brian probably didn’t mind too much. You all have a fine day. Dee says hello.
That is so sweet that you wash one another. I love that tail.
At least you learned a valuable lesson, Simon. 🙂
“Look before you leap Simon” LOL – Not everyone likes face time .
Oooops and Leap in the same sentence always means expect the unexpected.
Brian is King of the Manor we all know that
Hugs cecilia
But, what fun is playing it safe, Simon? A wee bit of not-looking-before-you-leap is okay too…spices things up a bit!
That is great advice. We’re glad Brian didn’t get too mad at your leap.
A slight miscalculation. I’m sure you’ll be more careful next leap. You made me laugh out loud.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and your peeps. ♥
Whoopsie! I’m glad that Brian is a forgiving guy. Maybe when you find Seal, he’ll want his face washed anyway. I bet it is really cute when you two bathe each other.
Oh Oh…but at least he can’t see you from there Simon..MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞

Wise words, Simon! We bet you won’t be making that mistake again!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
We bet Brian has forgiven you, Simon, and knows that you’ve learned your lesson now! 🙂
Surprise!!! Maybe Brian might have been more surprised than you. MOL! BTW, that pic looks like you’re in the middle of two bun halves making a Simon sammich.
I think Amarula wishes Frodo could learn the lesson to look before you leap!!
Aw….sometimes we are so excited to leap we forget to look! I am glad you are both ok. HUGS
You learn fast though!
Hey, it’s a Simon sandwich!
What an awesome place to ‘hang out’ ~ Simon ~ great photo of you ~ and sure you didn’t mean the oops landing ~

What a surprise for both of you! Sometimes such a mistake is a timely reminder.
Luckily, you and Brian didn’t have too much FaceTime. Definitely a good idea to look before leaping.
Would it be easier for you all to identify one another if you wore different sweaters.
Ooh. Yeah, we’re sure Brian gave you quite the what for after that, Simon!
Oops, Simon! We can all be forgiven an occasional mistake – I am guessing it’s pretty hard to look when leaping from such a height. And have I told you what lovely eyes you have? (P.S. Don’t call Dad old …)
We are delighted that the oops leap was not one where you hurt yourself, as that is what we thought from the title. We are not certain, however, how you mistook Brian for Seal! But you are fine, and that is what counts. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Oopsies! Oh well, we all make mistakes. We’re just glad it didn’t end in a fight or something.
MOL, sometimes mistakes happen.
Great photo 😀
OMC Poor Brian! That tail alone is a lethal weapon!
haha whoops. But at least you skedaddled quickly
Chaplin (taking notes): “Leap before you look … got it.”
Charlee: “No, I think it was—”
Chaplin: “COWABUNGA! HERE I COME, CHARLEE!” (leaps onto Lulu by mistake)
