Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Okay, we’ll admit it, kitten season I can be a scary time, so many kittens, so few rescuers. But, I’ll also admit that kittens sure are entertaining to watch. One of our ferals, who we call our Little Mama, brought her three kittens, two tabbies and a black one. Today I’m thankful for the joy of wee kittens and a loving Mama who watches over them. I know you want to see them so we’ll get on with the show…
This is the same Little Mama who runs if she catches you looking at her. So far she’s not been willing to be trapped. She has had kittens previously, she brings them for a day or two then they disappear. We then don’t see Little Mama again until she has more kittens. Last year was the exception, she brought one black and white kitten, he decided to stay, he likes it here and we’ve named him Scamp.
These wee ones look to be just under that weight limit but the Dad will keep watching closely and if they are still here he will try to trap them and get them all fixed up. In the meantime we’ll all be watching too, we’ve got a great view from the big bedroom windows.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Oh, i hope you can trap them, and the mama, also. Drop traps are the best kind for the ones that just don’t want to be caught. There was a feral mama cat years ago who would drop her two kittens on the back porch of the house behind which she lived every six months like clockwork. They were always eyes just opened, always a boy and a girl, and always the prettiest colorpoint kittens you’d ever want to see. Someone (sometimes me!) from the shelter would bottle raise them and get them fixed and they’d get homes, and six… Read more »
Oh, Brian, those babies made all of us smile!
Are cats are neuter
Those little ones are so cute and fun to watch, Brian. Thank you to your dad for keeping and eye on them and making sure they are safe and cared for!
Baby animals are almost all adorable, and kittens rank right up there on the CUTE meter. Hope that they can be fixed up … I am thankful for the rain that we received for the last couple of days – so good for our garden! Enjoy the rest of your week!
Those kittens are cute, and the mom is beautiful! I so wish you could TNR her.
OMC, luv seeing those lil guys!
we hope you can trap them… it sadly is “this” time and this year it is a challenge… all vets were closed for 2 months and no spaying/neutering happened… but we hope for the best…
Those kittens are adorable! I hope you are able to TNR before they get as way wise as their mom.
Oh, how awwdorable💗We’re so Thankful that you all can keep an eye on them and trap them eventually😸🙏Clean Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday to you all🐾😽💞
Oh my goodness, look how cute they are! P.s. we have 2 entries again in the hop. Our mom has a hard time on her phone v
Such adorable little ones. We hope they survive and manage to get trapped so they can be fixed up.
We are thankful that those kittens have kind people like your family to watch over them.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
Um Brian dear furiend, that little one looks quite a bit like you. Did you leave any details out? My chicks don’t look anything like me, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t family. As you’ll probably figure out by my post, we’re spending a lot of time gardening … in point of fact, we’re doubling the size of our veg patch.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.

What fun to watch the kittens. Love the video. You all have a fantastic day.
What a joy and pleasure to see these babies and mom and learn about them. Brian, we always appreciate any videos. XX
They are so cute! With kittens you can never be sad, they bring joy into the world. I wish more folks who are STAY AT HOMING would foster a litter, especially the single folks with no pets – there are so many litters this time of year that shelters are overwhelmed. I’ve been telling coworkers and showing pics of my kits to try to convince them, but so far as I know – no takers.
SO adorable. I am glad your Dad is watching out for them. Thank you for hosting. Have a great day! XO
right now i am thankful for video cameras that allow us to see cute kitties with their mama..
Aw, so cute. Kittens are most entertaining. Thank you for all you do to help kitties.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your peeps. ♥
Those kittens are cute. We hope they come around so you can “fix” them.
Brian thanks for hosting the Hop and thanks too for the precious video of the kittens learning that there are a LOT of humans who are willing to help them and their Moms and Dads. Bless your Dad and ALL of you for that.
Hugs, Teddy
What a precious video….Lil Mom makes sure the kitties know how to get to your sanctuary…
Hugs Cecilia
Oh, babies!
Mama cats are always hard to catch, which is why The Hubby built a drop trap for me. Caught Sweetie right away, after trying many times with our usual Tru-Catch traps. Brian, ask your pawrents to look up drop traps onlthe interwebs; they can see video of how they work…if they don’t already know. Drop traps rock!
And thanks for taking care of these kitties; just because they aren’t pets doesn’t mean they don’t deserve humane treatment. Alas, I’m preaching to the choir, aren’t I?
Oh you both are so wonderful to watch out for these kitties and cats ~ bless you ~ Xox

Dad was so lucky that our ferals, and kittens, were willing to go into the traps. No Fanny and her friends stop by late at night to have meals. Curly, the dad, visits now and then and Dad thinks he has a home as he was really relaxed but was a bit too nippy to socialize. We think he was just upset and hope he is doing well. Purrs my friends
What delightful little cuties those kittens are! And Brian is lookin’ so good today!

Such a sweet video – we thank your peeps for all they do to help the ferals. Little Mama needs to let Dad catch her and help her out – we think she has had more than enough wee ones.

They are so adorable. I hope your dad will be able to trap them, and maybe, they’ll have a chance to find a forever home.
What a joy it was to watch the kitten video today Terry! I am thankful for you and your blog! 🙂
so cute!
Those kittens are all so cute. It must hard not to pick them up and cuddle them.
I’m thankful cos your dad seems to be recovered enough to think about trapping the wee ones.
They sure are cute!!!! Thanks for the grins! Thanks so much for all of your efforts to trap and neuter the ferals. You are such good people.
Your kindnesses toward these little ferals is amazing. Not everyone has such a big heart . I love seeing all the photos and the thankfulness here is overflowing. HUGS
Mum is going squee at the kittens.
Brian, the kittens are adorable. They are the first ones we have seen this season. Hope Dad Terry can trap them. We are thankful for having the 300th posting of the Sunday Selfies blog hop and especially the our humans and their families and friends remain healthy. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
They sure are enjoying themselves out there. Hopefully they can be caught.
Charlee: “Oh boy, our Dada is watching those kittens and making that ‘squee’ noise of his.”
Chaplin: “You don’t think Dada wants another kitten, do you?”
Charlee: “Oh he probably does. But I’m not giving up my spot in his lap.”
Thanks for sharing the video of you kitten visitors – so sweet.
my Mom wants to know how she missed this! She is dying! She said that tabby kitty in the video reminds her of ME when she adopted me! That’s around the size I was when I was adopted!! Love, Cody
