Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
As you know, we always have things that we’re thankful for and today I’ve got four for you. Yes, really there are four. There might actually be more but we’ll save those for another day.
Today I’m thankful that we don’t have a drought in our area. We’ve been having drought troubles for a number of years here but not now. It’s been raining since Monday and we’re supposed to get a total of 5 to 6 inches of rain. We’ve also got some flooding going on in the area, but no drought here. The rain is supposed to stop tomorrow so maybe we can have the window whiffies back.
Then, we’re thankful that there has been moments, albeit short ones, where the ferals can run to the feeding station and get something to eat. We’ve seen the kittens on and off but the Little Mama kitty is grabbing some bites and is probably nursing them.
I’m thankful that we have good Vets and good specialty Vets. Zoe has her biannual follow-up with her Internal Medicine Vet tomorrow. Dr. V is a keeper and Zoe likes her. She’ll have bloodwork done to see how she is doing with her CKD so we’d be thankful if you’d pass some purrs and well wishes in her direction.
Finally, I’m thankful I still have a comfy and cozy bed to snooze in during the dreary, rainy times. Hey, I’m thankful for my cozy bed on sunny days too. Can you tell I love it?
What about you, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Those are very thankful things. Praying all is well with Zoe and that the kittens are allowed back to the food bowls as soon as the rain lets up. That is one good Mama you have there.

Having a good vet is so important. We loved our vet, but she left to do something else, now we have another one we really like. Hope Zoe has a good vet visit.
We are so thankful for all of our blogging buddies. We are thankful for the rain too, but it can stop now. You all have a great day.

You guys have a lot to be thankful for. We’re thankful our food bowls are still full with all the humans panick buying!
We are definitely NOT in a drought right now; we have flooding and disasters going on with high water levels in Michigan. Eastside Cats is thankful that we ourselves are in no danger, and none of our family are either. But it’s scary.
Oh Boy Brian rain rain go away. You’ve had more than us…I thought 3.3″ was a lot. Yikes today they have more heaving rain predicted for the afternoon then supposedly clearing and a pleasant weekend. Not that we are doing anything different over the weekend than the other 5 days. MOL
Hugs Cecilia

Brian,
We’ve sure been getting the rain this week. At the moment its let up but it’s suppose to move back early tomorrow morning. I think the next several days it forecast to be wet. I’m ready for the sun to shine!!! I’m thankful that we don’t have to worry about flooding at our house. We live on a tiny hill. I’m thankful for good furriends like you. Stay safe and enjoy the upcoming holiday weekend!

Purrayers and POTP fro sweet Zoe – and all of you and the ferals too !
Yes, I can tell, lol. Maybe the mom or dad can get you a sleep shirt like mine that says, “Stay in Bed”.
We’re thankful our second June heat wave of May is gone, at least for the next few days. Send some of that rain out to us!
My gosh, that is a lot of rain. Keep dry. A good vet is priceless.
Yep, you love your bed! Good wishes for a perfect checkup going Zoe’s way. I’m thankful our latest Chewy order arrived 2 days after we ordered it. TW says I shouldn’t panic cos I’m an only cat with 110 lbs of litter in the condo.
We are also so very thankful for our Vet and Arty’s eye doctor…they have been unsung heroes for Arty during this COVID mess!
