Hello everyone, it’s Tabby Tuesday once again and I’m sure glad you stopped by today, but I’m always happy when you top by. It’s the last day of June, can you believe it? Boy, the fur sure flies when you’re having fun. Yes, I do know how to have fun.
I’m running low on toys though, can you tell? Seriously, this is what we’re down to. Just two baskets full of toys. Well, their might be another basket of toys back in the walk-in closet back by the big bed bedroom. But that one really doesn’t count because it’s way, way back there. Oh sure, I go in there an play with those toys too, mostly early in the morning and late in the evening.
So, since we’re running low on toys I asked the Dad if he could order us some more…you know, like for Christmas in July. He just laughed. Well now, that was pretty rude. What am I supposed to play with??? I guess I’ll have to make due with the few toys we have left.

Oh Simon, you have enough toys to start your own toy store! I think some should be hidden away and brought out a few weeks later. Flynn always thought they were new then especially if I had marinated them in nip when they were “resting”.
Poor, poor Simon. It is hard for us to see you so deprived of toys! Ha Ha HA!!!

Lack of toys? Lack of toys? I get two fuzzy balls, a shoelace and a ‘nip pretzel to play with, and you call that pile ‘o fun a lack of toys??!! Fine, I don’t care. I go for mom and dad’s flip flops and plastic grocery bags anyway. Who needs real toys…

It kind of looks like our toy situation. Pretty sparse. Hope you get some new ones soon. Our mom hided lots of ours and then they reappear months later. It does make them more interesting.

OH yes…I am similarly afflicted Brother Simon. Good grief! New toys…how hard can it be? I have hinted and plain asked for some but nothing seems forthcoming. Guess what! I hate to tell you how awful my mom is but!!! when the washing machine was hauled off for a new one a coupe years ago…about 3 years… under the old one was a soaked and dried multiple times pitiful shrunken hard! mousie that Robin, the Cat Matriarch of the family that reared my brovvers had and swatted under it. It has been there since 1998.
You’ll have to make do with the few toys you have left? Bwahahahahahahahahahaha. I think you’ve got a lot of toys to keep you busy.

Poor toy-deprived Simon! I totally understand – I am tired of looking at my basket of toys and think Mom should order ALL NEW ONES. I’ve hinted frequently but she just thinks I am being silly. Oh well……maybe she’ll surprise me!

Play with your toes or swat at your furblings tail or ride that thing that sweeps the floors. I betcha if you put your imagination to the test you’ll come up with some new ways to entertain yourself without the expense of new toys. 😀

That is really sad. TW threatens to post something like this for me. Somewhere there’s a pic of me standing amid tissue paper strewn with toys looking forlorn at her cos there’s nothing to play with.
Somehow i think you will get along with those until your Dad can be convinced to get more.
We think you could maybe stay pretty busy with the toys you have, Simon. But, even though Luke is a dog, he thinks the same as you. New toys are way better!
