Hello everybody, thank you for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today we’re all thankful for a special Anniversary, really, we really, really are thankful.  This weekend our Mom will have been retired for one year.  Happy Retirementversary Mom.  We’re thankful that we have our Mom home with us full time and we’re thankful that she doesn’t have to go out and play in traffic each weekday and deal with that 40-45 minute commute each way.

I’m particularly thankful because I get to sit with and snuggle with my Mom just about any time I want.  Well, not when she goes grocery shopping or when her and the Dad go for their daily walk.  But most of the time if I need my Mom she is right here with me and for me.  I love you Mom, thanks for retiring!!!

What are you thankful for today?  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Having the parents home almost all the time is the best thing ever. That commute thing is such a waste of precious time! Enjoy!

Big boy said to tell you he is thankful that both his mommy and daddy are retired and that they have been retired the whole time he’s lived here. And mama says she is thankful that Daddy’s MRI came back that the cancer had not gone to his brain or his eyeball and can be removed

Has it been a year already?! Time sure does fly, I bet your Mom is so happy being home with all of you everyday. I haven’t retired, but have been WFH for 3 months now, and I LOVE being home with Cat Dad and the kitties, and I don’t miss the traffic or commute at all!

Congrats to MOM; that year went by fast! Our Ricky and Lucy are not happy when we both leave the house together either. Imagine if we had jobs and did it daily? Retirement is great!

I’m thankful that while my human never plans to retire, her commute is about 45 STEPS, upstairs to her office off the living room! Happy retirementversary to your human!

Our mum should retire but she is having too much fun at work and likes her co-workers.
However, being home a spell due to the COVID thing, she knows she will like being home with us too.Who knows…soom we hope 😉

That’s a wonderful thankful. I’m thankful that Mom & Dad have been working from home the past 2+ months, and will continue to work from home for the foreseeable future.
