thankful thursday blog hop brian 06252020

Hello gang, thank you for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Just a week ago we were thankful our Zoe was home with us after a stay in the hospital.  Little did we know she would be leaving us so soon.  As you know, because you’ve been there, the losses always hurt, some more than others, but they all hurt.

We’re all very thankful for the outpouring of support, comfort, tears, hugs and love sent our way by all of you.  There were so many comments on Zoe’s passing, not only here on our blog, but also on Facebook and Twitter.  We read each and every comment, tears would come, tears would go, and we’d read some more.

Thank you all so much.  We always say there’s nothing better than the pet blogging community, and y’all proved that to be true once again.  We love you all and we always will.  You helped to ease our pain and helped our hearts on the path to healing.

What are you thankful for?  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

My heart still hurts for you and the loss of Zoe. I’m honestly still kind of stunned. I’m thankful you have such a support system to fall back on in these times of pain.

Meowser Brian dear furiend, thank you for hosting this blog hop… I know it isn’t easy to carry on after such a devastating loss… it took a long time to get used to Mr. M’s absence. However, I trust that he now has good health and a healed body.

we are also thankful for the same thing you are for the blogging community that care so much even though we’ve never met in the person we all care

  6. Teddy and Pam

Our hearts broke along with so many other friends when we learned of Zoe’s passing. We can imagine her with her wings – so beautiful – and know that she is watching over all of you now as our Angels do. Having a day of the week to focus on THANKFULS is such a perfect thing right now – we all have things to be thankful for even in times of trouble. Thanks for hosting Brian!

    Love, Teddy

I don’t know what I’d do; without all of you.

A poem, kinda sorta, from the heart. The CB is the best support and community. It always has been.

  8. Ellen Pilch

I remember my first kitty loss before I was part of the Blogosphere and that seemed so much tougher without all the support of those that understand. Thank you for hosting. Have a nice day. XO

  9. Catscue Catmom

You are all going through such a hard time and yet still remain gracious – you are the heart and soul of the Cat Blogging community and we adore y’all. Hugs.

  10. Lola The Rescued Cat

Today we’re thankful for our health. Our mom is healthy and safe, and we haven’t had to go to the vet. Mommy wouldn’t be allowed in if we did and that scares all of us. And we’re grateful for all of our wonderful friends.

  11. Sandee

  12. Eastside Cats

Our cat friends stay with us for much too short a time.
Although we ‘know’ this, their passing makes holes in our hearts.
And even though we’ve never met in the fur, Angel Zoe’s flight to heaven hurt me and your other readers, in a way that only others in this community understand.

There is so much love for pets in the blogging world 😀 Zoe will be missed <3

I must admit, I have not lost a pet yet – I have 3 cats. But I have lost all the humans that loved me unconditionally. I somehow think, losing my cats will be worse. 🙁

    Dear Brian,

This is so heart-breaking to hear. But as I look at Zoe’s picture I feel she is resting peacefully in kitty heaven with all her playmates for company.

I can imagine how hard this must be for all of you. But Zoe will always watch over you and for all you know reincarnate (if you do believe in it) back to you.

I have Mishka, our 11 month old cocker girl who I feel is Cotton our furry girl. Cotton crossed over the rainbow last year.

Sending you and your family lots of loving and healing thoughts. <3
    Be well.

  26. RO P

It’s sure rough losing a fur baby – I’ve been there and know the pain. But we can share joy in knowing that our pets were all sent here to bring joy and laughter just when we them most. Hugs and more hugs, RO
