Hello gang, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop once again. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

You might remember that the Dad took Zoe to visit her Internal Medicine Vet but, because of the COVID thing and a crazy texting/arrival system, they ended up not getting their turn. Zoe’s Internal Medicine Vet was pretty upset with how it was handled on their end so she applied a credit to our account so when we go back there won’t be any charge. We’re really thankful for that!
Anyways, the Dad took Zoe to our regular Vet to get her blood work done. The staff came to the car and took her in right away. Zoe’s blood work was pretty darn good, her kidney numbers were stable and her glucose number was good. Those are something to really be thankful for indeed. Our regular Vet sent the blood work to Zoe’s Internal Medicine Vet. Unfortunately our regular Vet place is closed for a while as they all were exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Prayers to all of them.
Then, last night, the Dad got an email from Zoe’s internal Medicine Vet. She was pleased with Zoe’s blood work too but we will be going back to see her so Zoe can have her blood pressure checked (she is borderline hypertensive) and one specific marker was missing from the urinalysis test our regular Vet ordered. Plus, Zoe has lost another pound which is also of concern.
We’re thankful to such wonderful Veterinary care, we really are. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Hooray for such good numbers, and hoping for good numbers on everything else.
Your vets sound like great people.
We’re very thankful Zoe’s numbers were good. We hope her blood pressure and the stuff with her weight check out okay, too. We are purring and praying for the folks at your regular vet place.
That is good news about Zoe’s bloodworm! I’m glad the Internal Medicine vet put things right.
Meowser Brian dear furiend, I’m glad to know Ms.Zoe’s bloodwork was good… Ms. Pawsephone did today’s post for me because she saw how busy-busy I was. I think she did fine for her first attempt.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop and if Ms. Zoe wants that pound back, she might need to meow at Katsu because I think he found it.

Zoe – praying that all is well with you – something easily explained and fixed! We are thankful for the beautiful weather, and the opportunity to be outside enjoying it!
that is super great how your vets managed this special situation… and we are glad that you got good news ;O)
I am glad Zoe’s bloodwork results are good. I hope her BP is too.
I am glad the IM vet gave a credit as the fault was with their system.
It’s always good when a Zoe is good! (comment by Angel Zoey) … agreed to by Dougie Dog and the Zoolatry Human
Fantastic news gang, we’re always thankful for news like that! Happy Purrsday! XOX
Oh Zoe, some good and some questionable news. We hope you can get to the right vet and get some positive news on all of your issues.
MOm is getting anxious (getting?) about me going back, but with mom in tow. There are several things needing attention so I’ll go anyway but I want mom to be with me so I won’t panic.
It’s nice of the internal medicine vet to apply credit for the inconvenience. It doesn’t happen a lot.
I’m glad Zoe’s blood work came back with good results!
We are glad that Zoe’s blood work was OK. Hope they can figure out the weight loss. You all have good day and stay cool.
We are happy to hear that Zoe is doing pretty well. We hope they figure out what is causing her weight-loss. Hugs for her!
We, too, are thankful for our pawesome vet. They have really worked with our circumstances during this crazy time. We appreciate them staying open for all their kitty clients.
Hugs and purrs to you all!
That’s a heck of a nifty cot you’re hanging out on. Glad the bloodworm is as good as it is, and hope your vet will be back in no time. Wow you got a credit oh your account. Our vet would NEVER do that! Pretty cool. We want that cot, though. Make sure you are huge a lot by your human today. Don’t let him get away without at east ONE hug!
We are happy that the test results were pretty good.
WE purr further tests show nothing bad and that medicine will be helpful.
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
Dear Zoe, please fur-give our typos (or maybe google correct things) cuz we hear you’re a loving cat. It should be BLOODWORK (not bloodworm) and “HUGGED” not huge. Good thing we checked that comment. Love, P and P.
We are glad for mostly good news, and hope the rest of the tests turn out OK too. Oh no on your vet’s office being exposed to the virus though! We hope they will all be OK as well.
Glad most of your vet info was good dear Zoe…..hope the other tests are ALSO good. Sounds like you are in very good hands too and your Dad is making sure you get the BEST care EVER.
Hugs, Teddy
Good news so far Zoe, sending purrs and prayers that all comes up good when it is finally all done. Now get some weight back on those bones girl!
Great on the good numbers, but losing a whole pound? Extra good food may help. We are thankful for Zoe’s good news.

We too had some miscommunication with a vet visit during this lockdown time; it’s difficult to get things done in reduced contact. And, for us cat guardians, letting our babies go without us to comfort them is really, REALLY hard!
We are pulling for you, Zoe!
Oh no I’m sorry about the exposure your Vet and Staff are having to deal with. Purrs to them. Zoe I send you lots of very good healthy vibes for your next recheck and Indeed very considerate that you were given credit for that botched visit.
Hugs and kitty kisses
Cecilia
Franklin and I are thankful that Zoe’s bloodwork was good overall! Yay for good numbers!

Fankful Zoe’s bloodwork looks good and pawraying fur your vets office and dat Zoe’s BP and other bloodwork are good as well 🙂
We are happy to hear that the first part of testing has gone well. We hope the the blood pressure testing goes well too.We had to leave Lightning at our vet’s for the day because they have NO openings. He has a big scab on his back that is either a hot spot or another burst cyst. We are thankful our vet was willing to try to squeeze him in. He is also having a lump on his leg checked.
Woos, Lightning and Timber
Your pawpads are so cute in that photo, Brian!
Way to go, Zoe! Keep up the good (blood)work!

We’re glad Zoe’s bloodwork was good…and what a nice thing for the IM vet to do, giving you a credit. You don’t see that these days.
You have a very nice vet. This photo is precious, getting all your numbers in a row is good news. I hope you can gain your weight back and feel 100 percent. You are so beautiful Zoe. I love your bed. HUGS
Great news about her numbers! Hope you can figure out the reason for her weight loss.
Great job Zoe. You did awesome.
I hope Zoe is alright. Maybe she’s been exercising more to lose weight. I hope Zoe wasn’t in the vet with the CV10 person. Hope all are alright.
It sounds like you have great vets. I am glad that all those numbers were so good. Our paws are crossed for the other ones. Pats to you, Zoe.

We are all super thankful that Sawyer went 19 days between seizures and that Periwinkle & Stinky and Mom got a CWA Certificate of Excellence. We.are happy that Zoe is getting good care, but the pound loss is a concern. Mom will keep Zoe in her prayers. Xock
That is great that the bloodwork was good. Hopefully the weight issue gets resolved and nice of her to do a credit too.
Charlee: “We’re very happy to hear the mostly good news about Zoe!”
Chaplin: “Yeah, and we are sending purrs that the additional testing doesn’t turn up anything to worry about.”
Charlee: “Worrying is bad.”
Chaplin: “Yes it is. Fortunately we have the humans to do it for us, so we don’t have to.”
Cody and I send tons of purrs and prayers that all will be ok and that she will gain some weight. Lots of love!! Praying all at your Vet stay ok!
