Howdy, howdy everyone, thanks for coming by on Mancat Monday! Here we are with the first Mancat Monday in July and really, before you know it we’ll be doing the last Mancat Monday for July. Yep, time flies that quickly doesn’t it?
Anyways, we pretty much survived the fireworks weekend and some of it was better than I expected. I was really surprised and pleased that none of us inside kitties hid. I was super surprised that Simon slept though most of it and he and Seal and Dolly even purrticipated in playtime even with the fireworks going on. Kudos for Simon for being so brave.
We really found it hard to believe that the fireworks were over around 11:30PM. That’s a lot better than what we are used to here, usually those boomer things would be going off all night long. We really were glad they ended early.
I hope you all ave a terrific Monday! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I am glad the fireworks didn’t bother you too much, and didn’t go on all through the night.
You are lucky! It was worse than usual in our neighborhood!
I must say today you look like royalty! And I think all the people that did the Boomers where you live must have come to our city because they boomed until 1 in the morning and at 1:15 I called and reported them and then they didn’t Bloom anymore
The people here are still setting them off and it will go on for another week or two. The 4th was terrible, so loud and it went on for hours. It sure ruins what should be a nice holiday. You kitties are brave. Ours even went into hiding which never happens.
It could have been worse here as well, Brian. Round about the same time for us.
Glad those nasty fireworks didn’t cause you too much of a problem
Loves and licky kisses

Our fireworks were pretty darn scary. We all hid lie crazy. Glad that is over. Have a fantastic day.
The fireworks here went on FOREVER and there were more than ever. Poor Noelle was terrified. We’re glad yours weren’t too bad.
The Florida Furkids
We caught a break, because of the virus no fireworks and, because they are illegal here, only random occasional noise could be heard,
We went to bed at around 10pm and turned on our white noise machine. Sleep like babies all night. It was better here than in years past too. Glad you all did so well.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to the peeps. ♥
Brian,
Our neighbors shot their fair share of fireworks all weekend. Some of them were quite loud causing me to jump. Yeah, I have a little bit of kitty in me as my name says. 🙂 So glad y’all got through all the noise with flying colors. Stay safe, be well, and enjoy these hot summer days from the comfort of your air conditioned home. 🙂
I waited to take my evening walk at around sunset yesterday, and in the end, I practically ran home; the fireworks were everywhere, and I wanted to get to cover! Wish we could convince folks to stop that racket; the pollution from the chemicals and the leftover debris, the smoke, and the loud noise really isn’t good for any living thing.
We were so, so lucky this year … not even the teeniest, tiny-est pop-pop was to be heard in our neighborhood!
The fireworks here were horrible! Lexy was terrified and Mommy was up all night checking on her. We made it, though.
I’m glad the fireworks weren’t a big deal for all of you! My cats aren’t bothered by them either.
We did too. Ours around our neighborhood were still going off at times until 3am. Then last night more went off. I hope that’s the end to it.
Glad the fireworks weren’t too much of a problem! You are looking spiffy today, Brian!
That is good! Relax now!
You are uber-handsome today Brian! I’m glad the boomies ended earlier than usual and no one hid. For some reason our boomies this year were few and far between thank goodness!
Bravo to you sweet kitties dealing with the fireworks ~ ^_^
Glad you all survived. the fireworks. 🙂
Cheering quietly for the end of fireworks. Whew. We heard a few but thankfully not too many.Hugs cecilia
Yay for less fireworks. I think everyone from here brought the stores down there out. Really, though it wasn’t too bad although all week it would start at 1 am. Some towns near us had bad problems. They don’t concern me cos I see they don’t concern my peeps.

We had the same experience here. No one got too upset or wound up. And the boomers weren’t too loud and only lasted about an hour and a half. We were also surprised we didn’t hear any more last night.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We’re glad to hear the booms didn’t last too long for you. We’re lucky that they don’t bother us at all.
You were sure blessed getting some rest after all the fireworks died down. Your photos are always so amazing. Have a good week. HUGS across the miles
That’s great news! People really are fireworks crazy.
Yay for all of you not being too upset by the fireworks. We didn’t have any official fireworks, but there were plenty of booms going off around the area. It was like neighborhood warfare. The last big boom I heard was at 1am. Thankfully it should be quiet until New Year’s eve.
I am so glad that the booms didn’t freak you all out!
We are happyto hear everyone made it through the boomers ok…Ours went on all weekend long…hopefully it will be quiet tonight 🙂
It seems the quarantine is calming some things down, we did not have much noise here, either, and it did not last until very late.
Happy Monday!
We are glad that you survived too. It was a rough weekend.
Hi there sweetie. You look so COOL hanging around looking at the camera.
Glad the fireworks were not so bad there, Brian! They were much worse than normal here, and did not stop until about 1 a.m. Lots of illegal fireworks and big explosions. But we got through it okay in the end.
Thank Cat the fireworks didn’t last that long, Brian and I have to say, I’m really purroud of you all😸Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽💞
I honestly thought of you the evening of July 4th! Cabo didn’t act scared; he decided he needed to bark (loudly) every time one was set off! He had to go inside…where he continued to bark to get back outside! Happy you all survived another year of boom-booms. X
Early is good and no one afraid is even better.
We’re so glad for you that the boomers ended earlier than usual! I woke up at 1:30 am here, and there were still some going! But luckily they weren’t too close by and with the windows closed they weren’t too loud. Luke was sleeping right through it.
Lulu: “We were lucky! There weren’t many fireworks here at all, and Mama and Dada found a good movie to put on that kept them distracted so they weren’t scared by the booms and pops.”
Chaplin: “They put that movie on to distract YOU, Lulu.”
Lulu: “Really? Well it didn’t work, I slept through the whole thing.”
Charlee: “I think that means it did work, actually.”
