Sister Saturday Caturday Mixed Media Art Starring Dolly

sister saturday dolly 01 07252020

Hello gang, I’m back again for Sister Saturday and of course I’m happy to be here.  All in all it’s been a pretty quiet week, or maybe I should say it’s been a pretty uneventful week since there was all that obnoxious yard mowing noise in the neighborhood and that includes our own yard mowing humans.  You’d think someone, meaning some human, could invent grass mowing machines that are quiet.

Oh well, tis the season to be noisy.  Hey, Brian told you about the nice cubby hole back in the walk-in closet off of the big bathroom, the closet that none of us were allowed to walk-in until recently.   What he didn’t tell you is that the Mom actually created several different spaces for us, so I’ve been joining Brian back there on a regular basis.  Better yet, there is a vent in there that blows cool air when it’ s hot and warm air when it is cold, so that make those spaces even more purrfect.  Thanks Mom!

Okay, here we go, it’s time for my art for the Caturday Art Blog Hop…

I used the Photoshop Camera App for iPhone, did you know that Adobe had a camera app?  It’s pretty much free to use if you have an Adobe CC subscription.  For my art this week I used the Mixed Media Lens.

Have a terrific Saturday everyone and I’ll see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Oh Dolly thank you for the info, I did not know about that app. Going to check that out. You sure look pretty sitting there. Don’t blame you for sharing that space with Brain. He seems like a pretty cool dude so I am glad he did not make that his spot and his spot only. Stay cool girl friend.

I love what you did with the Photoshop app and if I had an Apple phone and if I had a subscription to photoshop I would be using it. I had to use my free app. I must say Dolly you do have a beautiful face! And I’m so glad that y’all have your little hidey-hole closet condo

Dolly, there are some of us who want to do away with lawns, and make everything sustainable and good for the environment, and that would be the end of mowers and blowers!
This is gorgeous art, Dolly; you look fab. I just may need to look into PhotoShop…

You sisters are doing great with the art!! How nice of your Mom to fix up some new cubby holes for you and Brian, they sound perfectly comfortable. She’s the best!

It would be really nice if someone would invent a quiet mower 🙂
Sister Dolly, I love your art. Such a beautiful image of a beautiful girl!

That is a very convenient hideaway for you and Brian, all year round:) We love your artistic creation. Mom is going to check out that app.

One of our neighbors had a funky mower that was very quiet; we think it was battery operated. It was very quiet but you need a bunch of backup batteries because the battery doesn’t last very long:)
