Today I’m thankful for Christmas in July, yes, it’s really a thing and I’m thankful for it. We always celebrate Christmas in July here, although I can’t figure out why we didn’t put our tree up. Oh, wait a minute, our tree went to live at the county landfill, that’s why we didn’t put our tree up.
The Mom has been busy singing Christmas Carols and best of all in the evenings the Mom and Dad have been watching Christmas movies. I’m not gonna plug any particular channel, but you can probably guess which channel had that Christmas movies on. I, for the most part, enjoyed snuggling on the couch with the Mom while the Christmas movies were playing.
As you know, I was born on a Christmas Tree Farm not too far from here and I was adopted and came home just three days before Christmas, so I’m always ready to celebrate Christmas. An besides, look at my pillow, we could all sure use a little more joy in the world about now.
What about you, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We listen to Christmas music at work all through the year, it is so festive. Enjoy your Christmas in July!
We remember your awesome gptcha tale, Brian, and ow you were born on a Christmas tree farm. 🙂 Happy Christmas in July!

Great post Brian- Christmas and Joy to the World can be every day!
we love your christmas in july… and maybe we will watch da grinch today?
My human’s birthday is in July, and she says that is Christmas enough for her – to have it in July would mean she would have to deal with the same thing as those people born around the third week in December, with the combination birthday and Christmas gifts! MOL – so no Christmas in July for her. She wants TWO separate presents.
Love Christmas and nothing like celebrating it through the year. Wise decision indeed, Brian.
I’m going to listen to some Xmas music now with my 12 year old who is an X’mas fan too.
Joy to your family.
Love and gratitude for this blog hop.
Pawkisses to your fur balls.
Just thinking about Christmas makes it feel less HOT here! Thanks for hosting this Hop Brian – it’s good for us to think about our thankfuls!
Hugs, Teddy

Brian, we hope that there will be a new Christmas Tree this year; I know you all enjoy having one, and don’t like when it is stored away again.
Here in Michigan, Winter lasts much too long for my taste, so every minute that we are away from it, is a good one!

I didn’t realize you were born at a Christmas tree farm. That is awesome and I’m wondering why your name isn’t Kris, or Mistletoe, or Cocoa….or maybe, Buddy (Elf)! It’s good to always carry Christmas in our hearts all year. And, yes, we all need more joy in our lives. Celebrating in July is a great way to remind ourselves of that. Now, excuse me because I need to get started shopping………X
That sounds fun, Happy Christmas in July ! Purrs
Enjoy your Christmas in July celebration. All the fun and none of the shopping crazies.
Enjoy Christmas in July! I always start thinking about getting ready for Christmas this time of year . . . if we actually had a porch we’d probably keep a string of Christmas lights up year-round.

There’s sure nothing wrong with having some of that Christmas joy in July, especially if it means more togetherness time!
What a wonderful idea!! I think, especially this year, everyone should celebrate Christmas in July!! Enjoy your Mama snuggles!
Christmas in July is the only tolerable part of summer, IMO!
I watch those movies with Pop too! We put the Christmas lights on in the kitchen too. What would make you even happier would be if that pillow was filled with NIP!
Christmas in July makes our mommy not so sad. She’s not good in the hot so in the Summer she can’t do anything and right now it’s even more at home. So we are big big lovers of Christmas in July. We love your photo Brian
