Hello gang, once again it’s my pleasure to say thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m really thankful for sunshine on my shoulders, boy it sure feels good. Sunshine on my shoulders makes me nappy! Seriously, it’s stupid hot here in the South once again but I’ve gotta say the sunpuddles have been glorious. Oh, don’t worry, I won’t get sunburn. If I need some sunscreen I just go sit behind Dad.
Of course when it’s this hot the Dad makes sure that our feral family has lots of clean water. They’ve looked pretty hot when they come to dinner but at least they’ve been in the shade up along our back tree line. Sometimes at night when the Dad goes out to bring their bowls inside he sees a sea of cat eyes up at the tree line. Sometime late at night the Dad looks out and sees several of them snoozing away on our deck. We’re all thankful they feel safe on our deck.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Tonight i am thankful the lawn got mowed and was finished about ten minutes before the rain started. It was excellent timing!
We love sunshine on our shoulders, too. It’s been stupid hot here, too, Brian. But today was actually pleasant enough for Mom and Dad to go outside for their daily walk. 🙂 Hugs!
Sunshine on shoulders is lovely! No wonder you look so happy.
I’m sure that is a good feeling to help out those feral cats.
I’m so glad your human looks out for the ferals, Brian, especially when the weather is bad.
Sunpuddles are the greatest thing ever. You look so very happy Brian!
One thing I’m not thankful for is that the hots are coming our way next week. I am thankful the peeps went to the supermarket today and I got rotisserie chicken.

Today I’m thankful for the chance to meet my old friend and I’m not thankful that we met in the scorching weather and we could stay at home!
A little bit of sun feels good – especially if you can feel it from inside a cool house!!!
Hugs, Teddy
That sunlight is highlighting your beautiful first and pointing out the fact that you have pretty pink inside your ears and also showing us how beautiful your face is. I’m thankful that you have sunshine and that your feral cats have a safe place to live with food and water
We are enjoying a two day heat break before it ramps up again. At least kitties enjoy toasting themselves in the sunshine. We don’t like it much.

Meowser Brian dear furiend, thank you for hosting this blog hop. You’re so right about the wonderful sun puddles…. and most afternoons, we have rain puddles, too. This morning was unusual because it rained in the early morning, so it is already wet instead of just humid.

Your dad takes such good care of all of you and your ferals.
We’re having a not-so-hot day today, which means it’s under 100. I’m thankful for that because it means the windows stay open longer in the morning.

We agree, Brian. Sunshine makes us happy too. Though today we’ve got clouds. But that’s okay…we had lots of sunshine this whole week.
You take such good care of the ferals. You guys should write a cat version of Sunshine on My Shoulders!
