Howdy gang, it’s Mancat Monday once again and it’s the last one for August. Last month we were glad to see July go bye-bye in hope that August would be better. Well, it really didn’t work so we’re kicking August to the curb hoping September will be better. Hey, we’re going to keep trying until we get it right.
It’s really hard to believe that next Monday will be Labor Day here in the U.S. and we’re really hoping there won’t be fire works. Dang, Labor Day already! Next thing you know we’ll be celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas. We sure have high hopes that the Brrrrr Season won’t be too super cold this year.
So what about you? Are you hoping for something better in September too? I’ll see you in September! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
oh we are with you… maybe september will bring da good things to us ?
We too are really hoping that September will be better. There are sure signs of autumn here. This morning, there was mist everywhere when we woke up!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
I’m hoping September will be better (more bacon!) but momma has her doubts.
We are happy to kiss summer good bye and are hoping for a cold, snowy, and early winter, but you all can keep the warmth in your part of the world!
I know! Mom was writing about that very thing in her own bloggie!
all fingers crossed that Sept will be better than August, or any of the months since March.. welcome Sept , please don’t give us another month to remember. I just saw in my email, there are FOUR storms in the Atlantic. NOOOOOO
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes indeedy and one month closer to say Bye Bye to 2020
What a handsome G.Q. pose Brian!!
Hugs cecilia
With all the heatwaves we’ve had this summer and then the wildfires, I’m ready for some cooler weather and no smoke. Looking forward to that. This summer has flown by though.
Have a purrfect day and week. My best to your siblings and your wonderful peeps. ♥
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. ♥
We are looking forward to the cooler days of September, but summer seems to be hanging on for a little while longer around here.
Brian,
Geez, I’m tired of how this year has been and I want things back to normal. Part of me is happy that the days are zinging by but you betcha, we’ll be celebrating the holidays in a blink of an eye. Do I say DON’T BLINK or yeah baby, blink-blink-blink those days by? I don’t know, I’m so torn. Like it or not, it is the last day of August and fall is only a few weeks off, so seasonal changes are comin’ fast. Enjoy your Monday, little furriend. Stay safe and be well. {{pawhugs}}
Brian, I’ve got all kinds of friends who are oohing and ahhing over Autumn, but wait a minute…what follows Autumn but WINTER?!? Why would anyone want that to happen?

We need to just turn the page to 2021.
Labor Day! Oh My Cat that is right! What a crazy year
I am so with you on kicking August to the curb. Between a record-breaking heat wave and smoke from nearby fires, we are thinking September can only get better.

Yeah, August was sort of a non-month, wasn’t it?
Best of all he loved the fall – Ernest Hemingway. We couldn’t agree more.
Time is flying as the old saying goes! We’re not quite ready for September but here it comes. We are hoping for no fireworks too, they are scary for our animals!
We are also hoping for a nice quiet, getting back to our routine September!
I hope September will be better too, but I don’t think there will be any improvement this year.
We’re excited because September is Mom and Dad’s birthday and our new surprised. We’re also glad for cooler weather because this means we can spend more time on our catio and mom says the leaves will fall soon and we can try and catch them!
What a cute position you have going on there, Brian:) Bring on September, that means no more surgeries for Misty and maybe some cone-free, leash-free time before we get to October.

Brian you are so handsome and I love your yoga poses. I’m with you about “ kicking August to the curb”. However, I feel like we are wishing our lives away:(
Bring on September! (It’s my birthday month…then Halloween and Christmas are right around the corner!)
I am ready to just move on to 2021.
The way this year has been going, Brian, we’re always hoping for something better.

Oh, but every day has so much beauty and so many blessings, i cannot wish them away that easily. Even when there are troubles and difficulties, every day is precious.
Oh yeah, we hope September is better than the months that preceded it, too.
Summer always goes too fast.
O, Brian, it will be getting better… but it feels like we have missed Spring and Summer…sigh…💗Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞
I’d like to say September has to be better, but I don’t want to jinx it! 🙂
