Today I am really super thankful for something that most cats are thankful for…BOXES! Let me tell you, I love boxes, lots. Actually, here at Brian’s Home we’re all pretty much fans of boxes. We like all shapes and sizes. We do tend to see a lot of Chewy boxes around here and we do like them. It’s even more fun when an unexpected box arrives.
Just the other day the Dad got a new pair of shoes for walking. Okay, that’s pretty exciting, that usually means a shoe box. I’m a pretty big boy but I can still fit in a shoe box. Oh, Simon didn’t believe I could actually fit in a shoe box so, the bet was on. I bet my treats I could get in it and Simon bet his treats if he lost. Oh, the wager was only one days worth of treats mind you.
So who won?
Yours truly of course! Shortly after my win Dolly adopted the box but Seal likes it too so don’t be surprised if you see them in the box later on. So, what are you thankful for today??? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Mama and I are thankful for all of the kind thoughts from readers who send condolences and hope and virtual hugs and love to all those families who have lost one of their sweet animals after long lives together. We are thankful on every day, not just Thursday!

Our kitties love new boxes, but they also enjoy a good paper bag too.

Well with this perfect fit of a box you don’t have to worry about them closing the lid and you getting said inside because I don’t think your beautiful head would fit in there can’t wait to see the other cats in your box

I’m thankful that 1) my broody Silkie hen agreed to be mom to four chicks I brought home from Tractor Supply a couple weeks ago, 2) and I’m also thankful that the chicks are all doing great and growing quickly. :)
I am thankful that the high temp today was like 66 or so. Whew. Still a lot of smoke in the air, but at least it is not so HOT. Oh, and shoeboxes are a good fit, aren’t they?
