Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Undiscovered and Rediscovered Toys

thankful thursday blog hop brian 08272020

Hello there everybody, thanks for coming to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for toys, really.  I know, an older guy like me doesn’t always play but sometimes I do, especially if the toys are right.  You see, the Mom and Dad have been doing some of that Marie Kondo stuff throughout the house.  Well, I knew it would happen sooner or later, the Dad ran into some toys that were, well, never given to us or hidden from sight.

Not that I play much, but lately I have been purrticipating in the evening play sessions.  Why?  Well, the Mom told the Dad where some of the Niko Fly attachments were hidden.  The Dad got some out and we all went nuts over the Niko Fly Dragonfly.  I’ve gotta say, those wings are pretty tasty.  I’d completely forgotten how much fun the Nikos are.  I hear the feathers will be next.

The Dad also found some of those little spring toys and you saw Simon playing with a new Nip Nanner.  Toys are fun and so is rediscovering my inner kitten.  We’ve all been having fun, fun, fun. So, what are you thankful for today???  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Rediscovering old toys is always fun. We go up to our toy room sometimes and find a toy we haven’t seen in ages and have tons of fun with it too. Enjoy your playtime!

Brian, Neko Flies are a favorite around here too, but I hide them away when not in use, otherwise that string will get chewed through!

We’re doing the same thing here, but we just call it de-cluttering. Amazing the things we’ve found that we didn’t even know we had. I’m glad you are finding all kinds of fun toy to play with. It’s a good thing to exercise your body and your mind.

(Maggie typing) I don’t play much with toys any more, but I sure am grateful for the warm sun and the laps I get to sit on!

well, good that you can play… some creatures forget to play as they get older and we always need to play!

Brian, I’m glad you’re having fun with the newly found toys. As a senior ladycat I understand the joy of even a minute or two of playtime.

New toys are always fun. Ricky & Lucy were doing some real life “fly catching” attempts yesterday = quite the workout.

We’re glad to hear that you still pay with some toys, Brian! Oh, and #1 said to mention that it’s “Neko” not “Niko”. Neko means cat in Japanese, so you get the connection?

Oh yes, Brian, finding some long lost toys or getting some new ones is always fun, no matter one’s age. Even Lightning likes to grab a toy now and then and act like a silly puppy.

You are sure spoiled with all those cool toys. It looks like you are always well loved. That makes me thankful for good folks like your mom and dad.Caring for a bunch good looking felines. Have a blessed day. HUGS across the miles XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO XO

I like my toys too, brian! I don’t play as much as I used to, but I still play for a short time a couple times a day. The Human thinks I am kinda blind (and she’s mostly right!) but I can still chase me some sparkly balls!
