Hey pals, Happy Tabby Tuesday to you all and thanks for stopping by today.  I’m taking a wee bit of a break from my busy schedule today to do some pondering.  What’s that Brian?  What’s my busy schedule?  Well, I’ve got rippin’ n’ runnin’ to do, toys to distribute throughout the house and sisters to chase, so there, see, I’m a busy guy.

Anyways, I’ve been seriously pondering who is stealing our daylight.  Don’t think I didn’t notice.  We don’t have nearly as much daylight as we use to have.  The ferals have noticed too and it’s a bit confusing for them on their meal times.  The Dad said just wait, it’s gonna get worse, most of our evening daylight will be gone soon.  Dang, maybe I should post on Nextdoor dot com and see if others are having that same problem.

I have a feeling that the humans will be playing with the time again come November but I still don’t know why they do that.  See, something else to ponder.  Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone, catch ya later!

Memories of Eric and Flynn

I have been finding the same, Simon. In summer dusk didn’t arrive until 10.30, but now it is 8pm. I don’t like these shorter days.

Our daylight has been pretty lousy, and it’s not even because of the time of year. We are still getting bad air quality from the fires.

we noticed that too… it is a worldwide plot…

we ponder the reason for the time change twice a year, each time it happens, we ponder why… just leave it alone, but they don’t. our daylight is getting less also, but we have more than in the north… right now we have it from 7 to 7.. see you got me pondering and wandering on and on.. sorry for stealing your blog.

I think this daylight stealing thing is happening EVERYWHERE! Nobody asked me if I thought it was a good idea – I bet nobody asked you either right?

We enjoy the darker times of the year as they kind of force humans into more relaxation, but none if us, including mom like that stupid messing with the clocks.

Simon, you are just so handsome. We don’t like the days getting shorter either. Guess there isn’t anything we can do about it. You all have a fantastic day.

Simon, yes, the daylight is disappearing! Sweetie tries to wake me up an hour early, to remind me to go out and walk, but it’s dark now and I just want to stay in bed.

Someone is stealing our daylight here too. It’s the way of things. Dad will adjust to make sure the outdoor kitties know when it’s time to have their meals.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and your smart peeps. ♥

We’ve noticed the days getting shorter too. That just leaves us more time for naps.

In response to your question, Simon, we are dealing with the same thieves in France as well. We have noticed bits of our early mornings and late evenings going missing!

You clearly DO Have a very busy schedule!

That’s true daylight doesn’t last as long as it did a few weeks ago ! Rosie personally doesn’t bother as she is a nightowl !

We don’t like it when the daylight vanishes either, Simon! There’s not nearly as much sun napping time. We could also use some more sunshine around here. Too many cloudy days lately!

Someone must be stealing daylight all across the country! It’s getting darker here too.

Yeah, these earlier dark nights are not too popular here either. Mom is still having to walk Misty on leash and it isn’t a lot of fun going out in the dark for that last potty break. We wish it could stay the same all year round.

Yes, it has been getting dark earlier. I don’t mind though, I love fall and winter.

Oh the love hate relationship with the time change. I do not like the shorter days, I like the sunshine and daylight hours. Handsome photo as always. Such a life you lead. I hope the ferals will get readjusted. It is so hard changing the time. HUGS across the miles XO XO XO XO XO XO

Isn’t it strange? The worst is when it’s nearly dark by 4PM.

The daylight is going to the Southern Hemisphere, it’s their turn to have it. We share, half the year here, half the year there. It’s only fair, after all.

Golly, with the heavy smoke last night it was dark by 6:30! It was really dark because the street light did not comes on, it waited until the time said it was time! We have a break from the heavy smoke this evening, so wes should have a little more light this evening. Now I gotta go and chase Kozmo! Hes yells (like a little grrl when I does that!)

As a famous songwriter once wrote: Who Knows Where the time Goes? I certainly don’t. I’m just happy it’s getting cooler.

Angie

Oh yes, we have all been noticing the stolen daylight. And it was made worse by three or four days of smoke, further obscuring the bright orb in the sky! So, enjoy while you can!

We have been noticing that too Simon. What is up with that and, more importantly, where does it go?

Our daylight has been disappearing even during the day time. The sun has been hiding, and temps have dropped drastically. Mom is okay with it, but we are not…cuts in on our catio time. Someone has been stealing our daylight as well! The only good thing is that means the chickens go to bed earlier, so we get to relax earlier! 🙂

That was indeed a fun Tabby Tuesday. Our sunrise has also got pushed and I miss those 5:30 am orange glow. But I’m working on getting used to it.

Thanks for lighting me up Brian, on a day I was feeling all uptight and wound up.
