Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Sharing a Favorite Food Is Nice

thankful thursday blog hop brian 09032020

Hello gang, thanks for coming to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for the sharing of food, really, we do share here.  I know I mentioned our foods before, but hey, food is always worth talking about.  We have three meal times here, one at breakfast, one at dinner time and one late after playtime.  Breakfast and dinner are lighter meals and our biggest meal is after evening playtime, after we’ve hunted and captured our prey.

Anyways, back to sharing.  Sister Seal’s most favorite is a food that comes in a pouch.  What fun is that?  No can popping open.  Well, Seal told me, don’t knock it until you try it.  Seriously?  Well, she offered to share and now I see what she was talking about, dang, it really is pretty good.  It just goes to show that you never know what you’re missing so you should always keep an open mind.  I’m really thankful that Seal was willing to share, thanks Sis!

So, what are you thankful for today???  Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Around here, Brian, Chili Bruce wants to his share of every cat bowl that he can get at!
And maybe you can tell why we call Manny ‘Slim’, compared to….well, we’ll just leave it right there!

  2. Spitty the Kitty

Since I am an only cat, I don’t share foods–I mean, if the Human really wanted some, I guess I’d let her have a taste, but so far she hasn’t asked. I expect her to share the following: toonas, butter, milk, and anything else I want.

Wow Brian it’s so nice of Seal to share! Our food is all tinned. We get it once a day at nighttime. Trying new things is really good. Kyrie doesn’t like trying new foods, she only like one kind and that’s ok because the rest of us kind of eat anything with gravy which just so happens to be what Kyrie eats MOL.

Have a wonderful Thursday you guys

Brian dear furiend, thank you for hosting this blog hop…. I admit I’m a bit concerned over one tiny thing. Not the pouches – I like pouch food, too —- the lack of snacks. Don’t you get snacks?!?!

  6. Madison

Bert loves soft food in a can or pouch, but Sophie won’t touch any of the wet food. They normally both eat only dry. Enjoy your meal variety

  7. The Poupounette Gang

We get four meals a day here. Breakfast, lunch, late afternoon and late evening. Genji also gets a little tidbit at bedtime, along with treats for both of us. Tama never helps herself to Genji’s bowl but the reverse does happen sometimes. But Genji is so skinny that every morsel he consumes is great!

I like you all’s eating arrangement. And it sure works well for you each one. None of you are in the least tubby. XXX

  9. Mark's Mews

We are learning that all foods are good! Laz came used to dry stuff, and to us, those were treats. Now we get a whole handful every day at 5 pm! Things change, and we love this change. Now we are curious about this “pouch” stuff you mention…

I think meal times are fun too. Yes you should always try to be open minded. Far to little of that going on.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your peeps. ♥

I’m glad you discovered that Sister Seal’s pouch food is tasty. Today, I’m thankful that I’m feeling ok and that we have pleasant weather without smoke so I can have lots of open window time.

Sharing a meal together is a wonderful way to keep relationships strong. I’m glad she was willing to share her special dinner. Guess she probably learned from watching others. X

  16. The OP Pack

We are thankful for good food and plentiful food too. We are fed breakfast and dinner with a treat at lunchtime. We all pretty much eat the same thing. When we had Angel Phantom, he always got to try different things because that was the only way to keep him eating. We like to hang around Dad because he likes to “share” with us:) Shh, don’t tell Mom.

Food is a big deal in our house! Magellan has not gotten back to his pre-Tsunami eating habits yet but he seems to have formed some new ones (that I’m not so sure that I’m fond of!) Tsunami would eat everything off of our plate that he could – Tsunami likes to put his precious paws into everything as he is a very tactile cat but he is very picky about what he actually eats.

  18. Summer

I’m thankful for… wow, just about everything! I have such a great life. Now, if only I can get back to the cat shows and therapy cat visits…

  19. Foley Monster, Pocket and River Song

I am glad you are thankful for good food. I know you’re a cat and in a week you will hate the stuff.
