Howdy gang, I usually like Mancat Monday but this one is a bit different, today is Let’s Take Brian to the Vet Day. Yep, seriously, I’m of to see the Vet. Oh, don’t worry, I’m not sick or anything, it’s my semi-annual visit for a check up and annual visit for my rabies shot, which is mandatory here in South Carolina.
Don’t get me wrong, I do love our Vet, she is very nice and it’s a Cat Only place so we never hear any doggies barking. I just don’t like car rides, nope, not at all. The only time I won’t be yelling about it is when the Dad stops at a red light. As long as the car isn’t moving I’m fine, but once it starts rolling so does my tunes!
By the way, I’m glad you liked the kitten video. A few of you asked if they were going to join us inside. Actually, probably not. I’m getting older and I’m not to sure I’m up to dealing with all of that kitten energy. Plus, Simon and Seal are still semi-feral and we’re not sure how they would adapt to newcomers. Besides, the Mom and Dad are getting older…well, you get the idea. We will eventually trap them, get them fixed and bring them back to our backyard.
Have a super Monday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I hope your vet visit goes well. Routine or not, it is never the best place to be!
I am sure those kittens will be happy living their lives outdoors cared for by your family.
Good luck at the vet. We are not fans of going there, but except for Bailie, we like car rides. Hope you get a good bill of health.
Brian,
I don’t like being the car especially when traffic is heavy. It makes me very nervous. I don’t make any noise, though. I don’t want to distract DH. He’s a good driver but when things get hairy on the road it’s best if I just close my eyes. I figured if I can’t see it then I can’t get nervous. 🙂 Best of luck at your Vet appointment, furriend!
Glad you’re not visiting the vet because you’re sick – but then again shots aren’t exactly FUN either!
Hugs, Teddy
we hope for super good news from your vet!!!
Brian I know all the Vet Clinic will be full of glee when they see you….their favorite internet Leading man.
Hugs Cecilia
Brian, hope you return from the vet with a gold star on your report card!
We most likely will never have kittens again; we’ll adopt older cats…that kitten energy level that you mentioned is crazy high for oldsters!
Sorry you have to go to the vet but at least it’s only a routine visit.
Hoping you can take a nap in the car and it is ‘time limited’ ~ you’ll be home in no time ~ sweet pensive photo of you ~ Xox
I’ve never had a kitty that liked car rides or the vet either. You do need to see the vet when you’re supposed to. You have great peeps.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your peeps. ♥
You deserve extra treats today after that Vet visit Brian. We are getting older and need to remember that and quit bringing new ones in too, good reminder!
Good luck at the VET!
The Florida Furkids
Our kitties agree, Brian, the car is no fun at all! But I bet it will go quickly and you’ll be back home and happy soon!
Sorry you have to endure the moving vehicle, but hopefully it’s a short drive. And I hope you have a fantastic checkup. My vet is so good at giving shots that I hardly feel them and they’re never an issue. I hope your vet is that good too.
Oh Brian, we’re sorry you have to go to the V-E-T fur the dreaded SHOT. We hate that thing too. But, we’re happy you’re doing well and not sick. Mommy says she toptally relates to your peeps gettin’ “older” and kittens gettin’ younger. Not sure what she means exactly, but she says your pawrents will totally unnerstand. Be safe. Big hugs fur all.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I hope all goes well for you at the vet, Brian. I don’t like going either and sing the entire time in the car, even at red lights. ~Ernie
Good luck with the vet visit Brian, and, we understand about no more cats – humans getting older here too.
Hope all went well with the vet and I hope you didn’t scream too loud and hurt your throat while you were riding.
I hope your vet visit goes well. I wonder if there is a local group that could foster the kittens as they are young enough to be socialized. I can understand your folks not doing it as they have their hands full with all of you. XO
We hope your visit is totally routine and you are soon back home, back to your everyday occupations, Brian.

Good luck at that vet place Brian…Jakey agrees…car rides aren’t fun!
Ahh the visit to the vet. Hope it went well! Our vet gives free coffee, so I take a few cups. My cats really don’t like it, all the noises and smells.
Hope you’re back home safe and sound!
I hope everything goes well for your vet visit, Brian!
Hope you had a good visit with the vet today, Brian. We are all due for our annual exams but Mom was wanting to wait until we moved over to the new place with the old vet:)
We hear the same story hear about adding new pups. Mom keeps reminding us that we are the last dogs she and Dad will have – how sad is that!!!
Have a great week.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Hope the vet visit went well. Most of us act as you do in the car, Brian. Sawyer, is the exception. He never makes a peep coming or going. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Oh no! Looks like I escaped the vet this time. This is the first time my allergies have flared like this but I’m feeling better. Hope you passed all your tests.
O no…o no…o noho…😹Extra Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
Thanks for the info I hope your rabies shot went OK and the ride wasn’t too stressful heheh!
Have a stressfreetastic safe week 😷😷😷
Hope you get a clean bill of health. As for the feral kittens, at this stage, they are likely to stay semi-feral their whole lives. TNR as you do is probably better for them.
