Hello everyone, I am sure glad you stopped by on Mancat Monday, it’s nice to see you. It sure has been cooler here in the South, especially during the dark hours, and the dark hours are showing up earlier. Speaking of showing up, we’ve had a coyote showing up in our backyard again. That’s not good.
Anyways, now that it’s getting cooler and darker, the Mom and Dad are using this week to get some winterizing done. Oh, not for them, they don’t need winterizing, but our feral family does. So, the feral condos on the back deck will get cleaned up inside and out, the insulation will be checked and they got a new heated pad for their heated house.
Did I mention we have kittens again? I didn’t? Well, we’ve got three. Stop back on Feline Friday to see a short video of them. The Dad did order a drop trap with remote control and it should be here next month and then we’ll get the trapping started. The company that makes the traps is having production problems due to the Covid thing.
Have a fabulous Monday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I’m so glad your humans always look out for the ferals and help them so much.
#1 keeps saying that she needs to get her wardrobe switched over now that it is getting so much colder. But we still haven’t needed to switch the heating on, so she must be waiting for that.
We’re looking forward to seeing the feral kitten video! Might some of them join you?
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
Winterizing is going on here as well. Mum is getting a new oil tank .
I am happy that your feral family is taken care of so well 🙂
They will be cozy when the cold comes.

that is very nice to prepare a warm place for your feral furmily… all the best to the 3 kittens…
Looking good!
It’s getting cold here too.
It’s time to winterize…..Mom has tackled her wardrobe and Dad has tackled stacking firewood and we are READY!
Hugs, Teddy
I am happy to hear that your parents take part in the Trap and release. I had a friend in Savannah Georgia that did that and she said a lot of the feral cats and then she would put the traps out and they would come and neuter them and bring them back and she would continue to feed them
Your parents are so good to the feral kitties. We never see cats outside, at all around here.
OH I cannot WAIT for the video. Moare Moare!
MOL, we thought you were wearing a crown when we first saw your photo! It’s nice of your Mom and Dad to take such good care of the ferals.
I’m glad you mom and dad look out for the wanderers, that don’t have homes.
You’re looking good today. We are interested to see how this trap works and we hope you are able to catch those kittens with it.
Kittens! I can’t wait to see them! We use a remote control drop trap that we borrow from a friend when we need it. It would be nice to have our own though.
Awww, thank you for all you do for the feral kitties. I’ll await the new kittens post.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your wonderful peeps. ♥
Ooh, I’ve always wondered how the remote-controlled drop traps work…let me know!
We will winterize The Cat Hotel soon also, but we’ve got a few warmish days coming, so we may put it off just a little. Which reminds me, I need to get some straw!
Yep Fall is upon us and unlike the long hot summer….Fall probably won’t last long enough.
Good time to winterize. New kittehs? !!! Yay
Hugs Cecilia

Yep, tis the season for cleaning. Thanks so much to your Mom and Dad for all they do!!
Your humans are excellent people! We have had to help the poor pit bull up the street. We think he is deaf and when someone returns him home, he has a bad hip too ;-( the people say oh he got out again! HEllO? He is your phamily. Take better care of him. I think he likes to stop by the gate at our house cause all the digs so crazy barking and he seems to enjoy watching the, poor old fellow is ancient. No one dare call the city because I am sure they would not be kind to… Read more »
Your ferals are so lucky they are in good hands with your mom and das.
We hope your dad and mom can catch those kittens so they don’t make more kittens. 🙂
Your peeps are so wonderful!
My kitty brother Thomas said thank you for taking so good care of the ferals. Before my mom and dad adopted him, he had joined a supervised colony of feral cats when he got thrown out of someone’s home, and he knows firsthand what it means when a caring person feeds and looks after them.
That is so kind of them to protect the ferals.
We have been having beautiful weather with cooler nights here too, but now we hear the heat is coming back. We like the cooler temps better.
Coyotes – not good – we have lots of them around here but we think they stay mainly on the trails.
Your peeps are so good to take care of those feral kitties. We hope the trapping goes well.
Woo – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I am sure the ferals appreciate it very much
I didn’t know people in south winterize…Sorry my blog post is political rant.
So glad you guys are getting ready for winter with the ferals! Mom is too! It’s been down in the 30s so mom put out the heated house. It’s for the feral kitties to stay warm!
Hope you are having a fabulous autumn, and good luck trapping the kittens!
I know your dad. He’ll get those kittens with or without that new trap.
Kittens!!! Are you keeping them? Guess I’ll find out on Friday. We’re winterizing the outside as well….sans the feral cats since we don’t have any. The foxes are on their own. X
Kittens? Oh that’s exciting! I hope your papa can trap them and get them inside where they can stay toasty warm. Mom asks what type of insulation your papa uses for the feral condos.
