ATTN: Blogger Bloggers. It is taking me all day to visit blogs I normally visit due to the Google Captcha thing coming up most times on blogger blogs. I have to check a box that says I’m not a robot and then the evil photos pop up. Pick all of the photos with traffic meters, pick all of the photos with bicycles, etc. Sometimes I can’t see the photos clear enough to pick and it takes 3 or 4 tries. And no, I can’t ignore it like I used to be able to do, the comment won’t post if I ignore it. Yes, I’m logged in. It does that for a day or two then it goes away for a day or two. If I encounter this in the future I’ll just move on to the next blog and not comment. Sorry, but please know I am reading your blog posts.
Now then, on to our regular post…
Hello everyone, thank you for coming to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and welcome to October! You all know that I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today, I’ve got to say that I’m thankful that I’m a good supervisor. I really am!!! Even though the Mom and Dad are both retired they still do lots of things during the day. I told them they were supposed to quit working and they just smiled and petted me. Well, I told them if they must work doing things around the house then it’s my duty to supervise them.
Hey, you know how peeps are, they need constant supervision. They are still organizing and decluttering. Purrsonally, I’m a big fan of clutter, I find it to be quite cozy. But, decluttering they are. I drew the line at going to the landfill with them though, no, not if a car ride is involved. Then, we got a new fake fireplace just the other day and I had to supervise its placement along with the helping decide where the older one was to go. I decided it would go in the eat-in part of the kitchen so it can be warm during chow time.
I don’t always make all of the trips up and down the stairs though. That’s okay, I’m fine with supervising from the bottom landing. One of these days we’ll probably get that other room open upstairs. I can’t believe how many times the Mom and Dad go up and down the stairs. It makes me want a nap or something. Okay, I’ll skip the something and take the nap. I don’t need supervising though, I can handle it. Supervise your peeps though, you’ll be glad you did!
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Don’t worry, i am well snoopervised over here by my crew. Enjoy your decluttered house!
I’ve also had problems commenting on a couple blogs lately. Luckily, I’ve rarely had to play find the picture and I just ignore the are you a robot box and have been able to make a comment.
I don’t supervise my staff very often, unless it involves them dishing up my meals. Mom loves to declutter.
Sorry you’re having issues with commenting. That captcha thing is such a hassle. 🙁
Good job supervising, Brian. Hey, somebuddy’s gotta do it, right?
I totally agree with you. This “I am not a robot” is a pain in the tocks! Several times I can’t see the whole traffic lights or bicycles and I get to do it again. I feel like a twit by the time I even get into the comments and don’t feel much like a happy camper by then.
Jean
We like to supervise here too except for when Dad runs the loud hose thing. Rumpy takes care when that thing is about but doesn’t have much sense anyhow. We dislike that silly catchall crud too, Yuck
My human works from home, and she requires LOTS of supervision!
Hello Brian, thankful your cats and your blog posts. 🙂
https://natashamusing.com/2020/10/on-a-silent-trail-wordlesswednesday-wednesdaywisdom/
it happened to us too… it said no permission to comment… seems wp&blogger need a better supervisor who has da gremlins under control ;O)
Meowser Brian dear furiend, Angel has stairs, too…. my house is flat, which sounds very dull by comparison. Being a good snoopervisor is very important. Thank you for hosting this blog hop.
Sometimes humans make us feel tired as we watch then moving around doing all sorts of things. They can be really busy sometimes. It is enough to make a cat want a nap 😉
Purrs, Julie
I just checked and the captcha is definitely turned off, so I hope it is not happening on our blog. You are a very good snoopervisor, Brian. I don’t know how your people would manage without your help.
UGH ARGH Captcha is dreadful, and we tend to skip by those bloggies sadly cause after many tries we gives up! PS sorry but we had trouble getting mr linky to work and even getting links to work, the new blogger thing does not like us (or vice versa!)
I hope ours is OK?
We’re having probs commenting on some blogs too.
I hate Blogger too – so frustrating. Mom & Dad must have strong knees to do the stairs all day long, I’m jealous.
Commenting seems to have problems all around the blogosphere. Finally our issues seem to be cleared up. Mom can’t stand that blogger photo stuff either, it is really a pain in the furs. Enjoy your snoopervising duties, cats are good at it.
HI Brian…on the other side of this, Mom and I have a terrible time with WP blogs and most times we try to read them, she have to use her ancient storage WP blog to answer. Yours is one we CAN answer as is Summer’s. Otherwise it’s an awful struggle.
I know. On WP blogs, I have to fill in my info every time cos the “save my name and email” tick box doesn’t work. Brian’s and Summer’s are two that work.
Might be best not to go up and down the stairs with each placement of organization cause you sure do not want mom or dad to trip on you. Sorry dad that you are having issues. I can look back a month or so on my post and see that pics are not showing up on my blogs. They are there when I hit publish but gone later. I have only had one person say that my pics don’t show up for them back around that time so I don’t get it. I just keep blaming ATT for my issuse…haha
Your folks are lucky to have a good supervisor like you. I want a fake fireplace, I know the cats would love it. I get that stupid google thing sometimes too and it is always on days I am running behind. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day! XO
Well Brian I say there has to be one supervisor in every household – I’m “it” for my house too! Sounds like Blogger is making you go through too many hoops to do your regular blog visiting – I used to run into that Captcha thing on many blogs I visit but haven’t seen it in ages. Thankfully! Thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday my friend.
Hugs, Teddy
I am really sorry that you’re having trouble with the capture and I wish you hadn’t said it out loud because it’ll probably start happening to me I’m going to go turn mine off cuz I don’t want you to have trouble but I’m not sure if I know how haha I need a supervisor to tell me how to do it! I do have a supervisor but he’s way too big to help me with the computer and I must say I think your Paul Point might be just a tad better than his paw point
We bet you’re a great snoopervisor. Our peeps have been decluttering the basement but the don’t like us down there when they are doing it.
Every home needs a good supervisor, Brian!
We have lots of clutter here and we like it just fine, although #1 gets a bit desperate at times.
Sorry about the Capcha stuff. That is so incredibly annoying!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
You are a great supervisor and what a sweet photo of you ~ As for the internet~ I think it may straighten out once the election is over or not ~ Hopeful ~Xox

What a busy place! It’s a good thing you’re there to make sure everything is done right Brian! I’m glad I took my Captcha off, I’d miss your comments sweet boy.
I had blogger do that to me last week. I made it though, but I didn’t like it one bit. I think I’ll pass on comments too if it happens again. What’s wrong with blogger?
Supervising the peeps is a hard job and they do need it. It also keeps you sharp and makes sure they don’t dispose of your things. Got to watch them around your things.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your wonderful peeps. ♥
Brian it sure does sound like Dad is being visited by the evil halloween gremlins messin’ with you blog and comments. I’m having a wee issue with the new blogger….nothing like Dad…mainly trying to set things up properly. It is a random issue
Hugs and best wishes
Cecilia
N joy de new firez place dood…havin one in de chow down room soundz
total lee awesum !!! 😉
N we dunno, de land fill mite a been kinda kewl…may bee ??!! ☺☺♥♥
Brian, you obviously work hard for your money!
Thanks for the info about the captcha thing…will check to see if that evil item has somehow popped up on our bloggy.
Oh wow, does it do it on our blog? As we don’t have anything set up in the settings for that level of security. Anyhoo happy Purrsday and here’s a big virtual hug from us!XOX
What a great supervisor you are Brian! Our kitties do that too! I’ve always had trouble commenting on Blogger sites; captcha drives me crazy too, and even if it’s not there, I don’t know how to make my username click back to my site the way it would on wordpress. Instead it goes to a Google profile page. !?
No one would ever confuse me with a minimalist. I probably need to declutter some rooms. I always knew you were management material! X
Thanks for letting us know about the captcha thingy, it seems that **NEW** blogger has it automatically selected, so we’ve just turned it off. If it happens again do let us know 😀 XX
Love to snoopervis too. Not liking the picture matches too. PITA
I kind of like clutter too, apparently since there is a lot of it around!
Humans definitely need supervising! It’s a lot of work for you though, Brian, no wonder you needed a nap! 🙂
I’m sure you do a great job on supervising your peeps, Brian…MOL🙈
That is so annoying when blogs don’t work properly anymore, we remember we had the same problem in the beginning…we ended up with no comment at all, but that was Granny because she didn’t know how to do it…😹
Pawkisses for a Happy stressfree Thursday to all of you🐾😽💞
Oh yes, we all take snoopervising very seriously here too!! Luckily we can all take turns and nap when our shift is over 😉
(Mama will check and make sure all her buttons are in the right place and that idiotic blogger caption thingy is off)
Great job snoopervising, Brian ! What would humans do without us ? Purrs
It’s sure sounds like you are having a very busy time with your supervisory role, Brian. We hope you are being paid well with lots of scritches and treats.
We are sorry to hear about that Google Captcha thingie. We haven’t found that problem YET, and for the most part we just ignore it.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We hate those photo things. We hope our blog isn’t doing that to you.
Snoopervising is hard work!!!
The Florida Furkids
There is nothing more important than supervising the humans but ever since Tsunami left it’s been exhausting to monitor everything and everyone on my own. No wonder he let me do it all once I joined the family! I used to think he was lazy. Now I know he was just tired! Mom has been on a decluttering kick too. It feels like she’s ready to toss everything that isn’t tied down. As you might imagine, I’ve been hanging out a lot with Dad at the moment, even though she assures me she would NEVER toss me! I can tell… Read more »
I think clutter is cozy too! I wish I knew if there was a way those of us on blogger could turn that off. I find it very annoying when visiting blogs too.
I have the same problem with blogger too, that is where my blogs are based. Yet I have to do that picture thing and it drives me mad! Yes, like you, a few days later everything is fine?????
Great photo <3
I don’t know how you can work such a hard schedule. We think you need a vacation
I have to snoopervise my peeps all day cos they mess up so much. They’re old and senile. I’m going to try to find an answer on the Blogger question. I know mind is set for no Captcha but there’s a new interface for Blogger and some others may not have looked at the settings. BTW, TW wants to know what decluttering is.
So I posted instructions on the Cat’s With Blogs FB page on how to turn Captcha off. Paws crossed.
We made sure we turned off that irritable Captcha thing. We truly appreciate all of your visits and comments. We hope to get back to blogging soon.
Hmmm, got your email about our Captcha. It was off, so surprised you got it when you commented. We turned it on and then off again. Hope that works.
Oh the rules of blogging! I am way behind catching up but somehow I will do it all. I love visiting and those robo thingies make me crazy hahaha! Love the photos and glad allis well with you all. HUGS across the miles XO XO XO XO XO XO
It would be more interesting if they asked you to find all the cats in the photos! And yes, you sound like a great supervisor!
Yeah, it is less fun when they get rid of the clutter. Keep on supervising. We haven’t run into that stupid captcha crap again yet. So glad when that was gone.
I hope you are not having to jump through hoops to comment on my blog!
Supervision is a very important skill, so you just keep it up! I am sure your Mom and Dad would laze around and drink coffee all day if you didn’t keep them on their toes!
