Howdy gang, we’re back for Mancat Monday again. Well, I’m partially back, I am snoozing in my cozy bed after all, and yes, I did catch a good comfy. Last week I told you that our Mom was slowly putting out some Christmas Decorations here and there. Well, a few of you wanted to see some of them so we’ll be scattering them about in the coming days.

Today I’m enjoying my cozy next to our Christmas Kitty. Isn’t she cute? I really don;’t know where she goes when Christmas is over but we only see her during the Christmas holiday. She really is pretty friendly, but she doesn’t have much to say.

Oh, and see that little rocker? It’s actually out all of the time and hosts whoever shows up for whatever holiday it is. That little rocker is actually our Dad’s little rocker from way back when he was a mini-human. At some point the Dad was a wee one and could actually fit in that rocker. Now the Dad is big and off his rocker!

That’s it for today, y’all have a fun Monday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I got up at 3am this morning, so I can totally relate to this pic right now.(lol) What an adorable Christmas Kitty, and can’t wait to see what other fun visitors show up during the holidays at your place! Hugs, RO

The Christmas kitty is adorable, Brian. And it’s sweet that she is using your dad’s little rocker 🙂
Enjoy your snooze and happy Monday!

It is hard to belive your dad was small enough to fit in that rocker, which means he might have been smaller than you because I don’t think you could fit in that rocker. Have you tried it? love you sweet and oh so quiet Christmas Kitty…..

Well Christmas Kitty is a pretty little thing but I have a feeling she’s not very good company – doesn’t say much does she?! Very cool that your Dad has his “mini-human” rocker. I think you have the right idea though – snoozing through it all! Happy Monday!

    Hugs, Teddy

I love the Christmas kitty and the rocker and we don’t think your dad is off his rocker either.

Off his rocker:) – you cracked us up. Christmas Kitty is a very nice visitor. Did you ever invite her to stay through the year? Mom has her rocker in the basement. It is a black one. Maybe she can find a Christmas Sibe to put on it for us.

    Dearest Brian,
First off, thanks for your visit and comment, left you a reply.
How precious to have a rocker from your childhood; a true treasure and the Christmas kitty fits perfect in it for the time being.

We have two of our kitty girls (sisters) that look like Brian…

Yes, literally OFF his rocker!! It’s awesome you all have this piece of nostalgia. I love family heirlooms. I’m resisting the urge to put Christmas decs up until after Thanksgiving! X

HaHa Raggedy Kitty? hahaha LOVE IT! I have a raggedy anne doll that use to be mine from many moons ago. My mother had saved it. Cool, huh? Great post my friend. WOW, that’s your tiny rocker from when you were little? That’s awesome dude & it still looks brand new! That is soooooo cool!

Oooops! Almost forgot to thank you for stopping by yesterday! I wasn’t feeling good in the early afternoon, so all comments stopped. I put my health first! Sorry, but you understand. Tomorrow I go to my doctor to talk about the test I’m going to be taking on my leg next week. Cannot wait to find out what’s going on. Ever since my back surgery two years ago (I had 2 before that) when I woke from surgery I had this awful pain in my right leg & I demanded to see the surgeon. He said (and I quote) “I had your nerves hanging over during the surgery for like 4 hrs. & they’re a little ticked off (ticked was not the word he used), and they’ll be fine.” The leg still is quite painful, and it has developed numbness & swelling in places & by nightfall it’s pretty swollen. I scratch on one side I feel it on the other like it’s an electric bolt, swelling, mega pain when I walk. By nightfall my leg is huge with swelling. I cannot live like this any longer. During the first 2 yrs. no one would touch me. My theory on that is (being a retired paralegal & we handled personal injury, medical malpractice and workers comp), doctors didn’t want to get involved. Sorry, I talk to much sometimes. 🙁
