Hey gang, did you guess me Simon? I am betting you were expecting to see Brian today. Well, Brian isn’t available at the moment but if you leave a message at the tone he’ll be glad to get back to you. What? Oh, never mind. He will be here tomorrow, and you savvy pals probably realize why I’m here today and he’ll be around tomorrow.
Anywho, just like last here, Brian assigned me the Santa Watch duty. Last year I watched and watched and watched and I never saw any Santa. I even stayed awake for days and nothing. But boy, as soon as I dozed off he must have been here. Maybe I’ll have better luck this year. Then again maybe I won’t. Sometimes I think Brian is just pulling my leg. But you’d think I’d feel that too.
Okay, I had better get back to Santa Watch duty, y’all have a terrific Monday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Simon… it seems you will not see him this year either… we heard from someonewhowantstostayanonymous that santa had a little accident…
We never seem to be able to catch him either. He must know when we are sound asleep.
good morning Simon the Santa Watcher, I am thinking you might see Santa this time because there appears to be a LAMP in your front yard. BOL… happy watching, don’t blink and eye, you will miss him because I have heard he is REALLY quick
You’re “on the job” a few days ahead of schedule. Rest up well, return to duty in about
48-hours or so … OK? And when you do, you’ll have a better chance of seeing him if you
look OUT the window rather than INTO the living room …
[thinking of you sweet Brian]
It’s okay if you want to take a nap, Simon. I think Santa skips the houses of those who stay awake waiting for him.
So adorable ❤
We’re sending Brian some POTP and we’re also thinking you’re going to have a tough time keeping an eye outside without slipping off for a nap. Since Santa isn’t going to be in sight for a few more days though – I think napping is totally allowed!
Hugs, Teddy
We admire your dedication, but we rather suspect Santa will make his appearance without your being aware. It’s his magical abilities! 🙂
Simon, I just KNOW you’ll see him this time. I know it!
Simon you might be on Santa watch but we are on ‘Squirrel Watch’ ~ we have a squirrel that keeps coming to the bird feeder despite the spicy feed that is suppose to deter squirrels ~ ha! ~ Life in the fast lane ~ LOL ~
Awesome photo of you Simon ~ Xox
Happy Holidays to you,
A ShutterBug Explores,
aka (A Creative Harbor)
Simon, nice job of filling in for Brian!
Brian can pull your leg without you feeling it. He’s sneaky that way. You’re a most handsome mancat and there are lots of us out here that will help you watch for Santa.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your peeps. ♥
Simon you have to get up a 0’dark 30 and stay away furever and a day to catch Santa.
But heck I commend your efforts.
Hugs cecilia
Simon, you are right if Brian were pulling your leg, you’d feel it – MOL! I just love your expectant expression and those gorgeous eyes.
Santa waits until he sees your eyes are shut, then he is in and out so fast that you don’t see him.
Best wishes always.
God bless.
You did a very nice Selfie replaciang Brian ! Rosie has never seen Father Christmas either, but she is not very much interested because she eats nothing else than her Hill’s dry food ! Since 13 years !!!
Great pic, Simon, as you Santa Watch. I hope you see him. Merry Christmas!
Keep a sharp lookout, Simon! You just might see Santa! Then again, you might not . . .
I think you make a terrific watchman! And Jo Jo says you are a very handsome one too! Brian sounds furry much like Kozmo! He had me on Santa watch last year and the year before! I’m going to do it again anyway.

Marv, Jo Jo, kozmo, Cinnamon and Barb
It’s a busy time of year for you boys, right?
Maybe if you take a snooze by the fireplace Santa will definitely find you! xoxox
Great photo 😀
Oh Simon, you are too funny. We think Santa plans it all so you can’t see him – that is the mystery of Christmas:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I think you could go online and track Santa. 🙂
Keep watching!!!! We’re watching too and haven’t seen him yet.
The Florida Furkids
We never get to see Santa come over either. But then again, we don’t keep watch just like you do. Eniwei, Merry Christmas every furry!
You can watch all you want, Santa knows when you are sleeping and only comes then. Brian should know that by now!
You look very alert!
We watch for Santa Paws every year…and we’ve yet to see him. Maybe he’s invisible!
We feel good that you are on the look out for Santa
I know! I know! If you see that bearded guy in the red suit, remind him of my address and how good I’ve been. MOL!
Is that snow out the window? I thought you were in southeast part of United States.
Coffee is on and stay safe
You’re doing a pawsome job, Simon, and we hope you’ll be lucky and see him this year. Purrs
We’ve never seen Santa either. Let us know if you find him.
Simon we share Santa Watch duties too. Great work
Simon,
Santa is a sly old elf. If I were the beating gal then I’d make a fortune with odds favoring Santa making his Christmas Eve in & outs in total stealth mode. Leave the Santa Watch to the mom and dad so you can get your beauty sleep. Have a the Meowiest Catmas ever! I know your parents speak feline fluently but for those who don’t, this means ‘Merriest Christmas ever!’
haha yeah, we never spot him either.
Charlee: “Did you catch him???”
