Happy Thankful Thursday everyone and thanks for coming to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
See, I am enjoying the Christmas Tree but guess who did a drive-by? Oh, of course you know, it’s in my blog post title. Yes, it was Santa, he did a drive-by last night and he was on the back of a firetruck. Actually, we think Santa liked us, he went by our house TWICE! No doubt his sleigh was getting all polished up in preparation for his Christmas Eve journey. I know one thing, the sleigh would have been much quieter. Dang, that firetruck was sure loud. You know who ran and hid. No, not Dad, it was Simon.
Anyways, I’m really thankful that I got to see Santa. I was beginning to wonder if he was going to make his trip at all with that nasty Covid thing around. I’m also thankful he knows where the good kitty lives, of course he does, I gave him a paw wave.
A quick Seal update: So many of you have asked about how Seal is doing, thanks for that. We still don’t want to jinx anything so let’s just say that she is doing so much better now and she sends y’all hugs and smooches.
Now then, before I go, here’s a photo of our china cabinet in the dining room…

Okay, so what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Santa will be able to see our neighborhood from space; folks ’round here have gone strings-of-lights crazy!
Purring for Seal still!
Santa comes by here on the fire truck, too, and collects food for the food bank. He even tosses candy! We expect him this weekend.
Still praying for your precious sister to fully recover.
Awwww hugs and smooches to everyone! I am thankful for all our blogging buddies!
Three cheers!
Hi Brian,
It sure looks like you are enjoying your snooze under the tree! We can’t sleep under ours, Its on a trunk and its too lumpy. But purrhaps we will rectify that! And Santa was in the firetruck at your place? He comes to ours in the firetruck on Christmas Eve (usually). With the Covid restrictions in our province, we are not sure if he will be able to do that this year – yet.
Are sugar plums dancing in your dreams or do you dream of mice?

We sure are glad that Seal is doing better and it’s great to learn Santa is out and about. We are ready for him to come on by and have our tree ready and everything. By the way we love your decorations. Beautiful
oooh we are sure santa feels so much joy when he comes to visit you… and he has da bestest gifts for you ;O)
We, too, are thankful to all the fire-purrsons who do that in so many neighborhoods, paws up to them all! (Purrs for sweet Seal …)
I see you’re a fan of under the tree napping too Brian. We should enjoy that until all the presents begin to appear taking up room! Glad Santa did a drive-by. We haven’t seen him here but I’ll be waiting for a peek on Christmas Eve!
Hugs, Teddy
Bailie and I are bummed we can’t go and see Santa this year, but Olivia is happy because she thought he was creepy last year! Enjoy your nap under the tree!
I love seeing the decorations in the house! Thank you Brian! You’re such a good boy. You made mom laugh aloud when she read that no, it wasn’t your dad running ad hiding He’s a good boy too!
I hope Santa was able to see all of you have been NICE and are on the right list. Hugs to Seal and your home is so festive with all these decorations… candle light, I love it so
That is so cool that Santa drove by twice. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Meowser what exciting news, Brian dear furiend! Do you think Santa was checking his list? I’m sure y’all passed!

First we love the good news about Sister Seal. Sending more hugs and lovies.
We’re due to get our fire truck here too. I think it’s this week. Anyway you’re right about them only showing up to homes where good kitties and pups live.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
How great that you got to see Santa! Our house is too far from the road to see if he drove by here. We’re sure he put all of you on the nice list.
Of course Santa loves everybuddy at your house Brian. Mom’s china cabinet is glistening…
Hugs Cecilia
Santa on a fire truck, how fun! I am so very glad Seal is doing better, we’ll still send purrs, pawsitives and POTP her way.
what a pretty pretty vignette of candles and china! I love it! And as always, a good model to show the tree!
There are so many things to be thankful for in life. Sadly … we forget.
God bless.
SO THANKFUL FOR SO MUCH!!! All of you kitties out there and the foster homes and the real homes and the animal saving orgs across the universe and the vaccine coming and we would be even more thankful if the homeless had homes and the hungry had food and the poor had holiday money to buy food and gifts and the children weren’t starving and the people of the Dakotas and elsewhere in the USA would only believe that there IS A VIRUS and that denying it will cause deaths.
Santa on a fire truck, that’s exciting as long as no ones house was on fire. Love the lovely pics as always.
Simon how exciting to get a chance to see Santa and paw wave at him! I’m so glad Seal is doing better, that’s good news!
You look so cute there under the tree and that’s a nice pic of your china cabinet. Love all the candles!
I’m thankful that Seal is feeling better. But we will continue to send purrs her way, just to be safe.
Santa must be checking his route. HE came by our house on a firetruck twice Tuesday night!!!

That china cabinet definitely looks off limits to your and the crew! And, I doubt if there’s anything that would keep Santa from making his rounds. I’m happy to hear Sister Seal is feeling better.
It’s a good thing Santa came by during this time. We all need a little pick me up.
Keeping paws and fingers crossed for Seal.
Whew, we are glad to hear that Santa is around…we were a little worried about him with this stupid virus going around!
Thank you so much for our beautiful Christmas card – it really made my day! ♥♥♥
That was exciting that Santa did a drive by. I am glad that Seal is doing better and hope she continues to do so.
How fun to have had a Santa drive-by!
We wil continue purring for Seal.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
How cool that Santa came to pay you a visit – twice! Santa has not been by our home. My parents say it’s because I’ve been a naughty cat. Say it isn’t so. I am SO creative when it comes to decorating… what feline can resist all of those sparkly ornaments dangling from the tree (now, really?!) And the fact that I stole Baby Jesus from the manger and they haven’t been able to find Him… doesn’t tradition say He isn’t supposed to make an appearance until the Epiphany? Please tell my Mom and Dad (and Santa) that I’ve been… Read more »
Great photo and all the best hugs x
You sure look content under the tree, Brian. We’re glad Seal is feeling better.
That must’ve been really exciting!
Best wishes for the merriest of Christmases! I’m thankful our reliable contractor cleaned our gutters and downspouts today. They were clogged big time. 🙂 And I hope Seal keeps getting better.
TWICE!!!??? You are so lucky! So far the kitties have not yet caught site of Santa!
I am glad you got to see Santa. He was probably on a test run.
Santa came by your house!!!!! But of course he did, you are the best kitties I know! I’m glad that Seal is feeling better.
Thankful for being here. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
How cool it must have seen Santa!!
I don’t know, but I think Santa has special immunity from COVID!!! You were blessed to get an early peek!
Santa is going to be busy. I am glad he is staying healthy! Glad you enjoyed seeing him and giving him a Paw-Wave too! What fun and your home is decorated so beautifully for Christmas. HUGS and LOVE everyone!
I’m glad to know that Seal is doing better!
First, I’m glad to read that Seal is still good and secondly, Brian, is that I’m happy you got to see Santa in a fire truck!! Santa doesn’t do drive-bys here. We live in the woods but we know that he will visit all our friends and family, which is what we’re thankful for…:)jp
How fun to see Santa – twice! Maybe he’ll drive by over here too.
I love that photo. I am happy that Seal is okay and that Santa obviously knows where you live.
