It’s Tabby Tuesday with Simon: Who You Calling Normal?

tabby tuesday simon 01052021

Did you hear that? Brian just called me normal. Well, I heard it. What’s that Brian? Really? Well, Brian said he wasn’t calling me normal. He was saying the furniture is back to normal. Dang, does that mean we have abnormal furniture? Maybe it just means that the furniture is back to its normal place. Of course it is, see, I’m in my chair!

I think I’m a little behind on all of my naps though, it was a lot of work supervising all of the furniture moving. I had to make sure that the Dad and the Mom got it back in all of the right places. I’ll give them both credit, they did a good job.

Hey, before I go, do you remember that we used to have a robot that vacuumed? Well, it up and quit but it appears that the Dad and Mom adopted another one. So far it’s been sleeping, but I have a feeling that it will be waking up soon.

Okay, now I’ve gotta tackle my nap deficit. Have a terrific Tabby Tuesday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Memories of Eric and Flynn

It is good to get back to normal, Simon. You reminded me of a cat that used to blog a long time ago called T’Abby Normal. I wonder what happened to them.

Little Binky and Granny

I hope the robot vacuum isn’t to noisy, Simon, you need your sleep, right 😉 Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday to all of you🐾😽💞

Mom had one of those robots once upon a time but her configuration in the living room was more than it wanted to deal with. It left in the night Mom said, headed farther south and with its bag over its shoulder looking for better conditions. Never heard from it again.

enjoy your nap.. glad you have a NORMAL place to nap in… when Beaus dad vacumns on Saturday, he is my auto vac, he puts the two leather ottomans up on the sofa. the first few weeks, beau freaked out because it was not normal for them to be where he sleeps. today is 12 weeks so he has seen that 12 times and pays no mind at all

I always enjoyed putting the house back to normal after Christmas. We don’t decorate anymore, but I remember.

Keep a watch out for that new vacuum though. They are sneaky.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your siblings and peeps. ♥

Charlee: “It’s really hard to get caught up on naps when humans keep having holidays and moving furniture around and stuff.”
Chaplin: “Especially when we cats like to nap like twenty-seven hours a day.”
Lulu: “There are only twenty-four hours in a day, Chaplin.”
Chaplin: “Exactly!”

Normal is good, until it gets boring. But you could never be boring! Furniture can be boring, until it is moved, then it must be investigated.

Simon, your eyes are absolutely beautiful! I’m sure with those eyes you don’t miss a thing going on in the house. Our family room is back to normal and looks much larger than it has for the past month! And, I think we all suffer from nap deficits. X

The English language can be very confusing, Simon. We get confused too:)

We want to see that new robot. Mom still hasn’t bought into getting one. She isn’t sure it can handle all the fur we might feed it.

Why do humans always have to replace dead vacuums???

Normal…..haha, what is normal these days? I guess having furniture in the correct position is normal and if that be the case, its never NORMAL here. I did not put things back the same way after Christmas so we did not go back to normal. HAHA…there again, I am pretty sure that my furs are used to the un-normal around here!! I just love your sweet furs and I am glad you are all there to keep mom and dad on the correct path in making things normal.

It’s okay to be normal, Simon, but that does not mean that you’re not unique and awesome. 🙂

Never give in to normal! For yourself, of course, the furniture may go back to normal any time it wants.

I bet supervising all the furniture rearranging was exhausting! You earned your nap, Simon.

Well, I’m glad that some peeps have some normal around the house. Balsam is still here drinking like a fish or tree or something.

Oh look at your face Simon, way too cute. Our humans want to keep the tree as long as possible, but we feel that it would be gone before MLK Jr Day. Do you like the roomba? Are you not afraid of it? We hate that thing and it’s cousin the “normal” vacuum.

Catch up on your naps and enjoy the normal, Simon. We are generations away from having any sort of normal with our human here. No doubt that little robot is quieter than the monster she drags around now and then!
