Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our first Mancat Monday of the New Year. And here’s a nice big howdy to 2021, I hope you are going to be nice to everybody, we’d all like that lots and it’s not what we’re used to after last year.
I mentioned a while back that the chair, the couch and some end tables do the shuffle for Christmas, now they are shuffling back to their original spots. As much as most of us love the Christmas Tree, it’s nice to have things back where the belong. Us kitties aren’t too big of fans of shuffling anything.
We still have lots of our Christmas decorations up since it’s still the Season, but the Christmas Tree and the outside decorations went into hibernation until the end of the year. Y’all have a terrific Monday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
wow that are the days… the mama did that yesterday… and like always the things fit not in the box where they were over da whole year and as da highlight we found two santas after the box was closed ab back at the attic… same procedere like last year and same procedere like every year hahahaha
After answering the comments I also put away the Christmas stuff. Rosie fortunately is to lazy to help me, she sleeps !
We re-shuffled our furniture around now that the tree is down too Brian and while it was FUN to sleep under that tree – it’s also nice to have that room nice and “orderly” again!
Hugs, Teddy
I’m the only one who just loves the Christmas tree, but it has gone away here too. There is a lot more space in the living room without it. Change keeps us all wondering, right?
Same here, things slowly get back to normal decoration wise, and the furbabies love it.
Most of our decorations are packed away too.
A few still remain like the big glass blocks with lights inside .
It is nice to have more light at this dark time of year 🙂
Purrs, Julie
Happy Monday, Brian. We had decorations out on the main level, but they’ve all been put away except for some warm white LED lights to lend some cosy cheer to the dark evenings. Derry didn’t offer to help; Nicki was the “helper” in the house. LOL. Take care and have a great week.
Gosh I loved seeing the bookcase cubby decorations your Mom arranged and look forward to that again next year.
Morning handsome friend.
Oh for sure after Christmas decorations are put away and things are in place it always makes the room seem bigger here.
Yes please 2021 here’s hoping you play well with all of us
Hugs Cecilia
you sure do look Regal today. Dogs and my hubby to not like shuffled furniture either, the furniture here has been in the same spots for 31 years.. we took down everything but the lights in thenook and the tree minus ornaments is sitting on the side table. we like the lights
That shuffling things around is not easy on some folks, be glad that you don’t have to do it! But I understand, I like it when things are back to normal.
It’s always good to put things back where they belong. That’s happening in our neighborhood too. Lots of folks out taking decorations down.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all your siblings and my best to your peeps. ♥
Brian we are hoping our shuffle goes back too. Dad said he may be re-arranging due to us. What? Very strange but we will let you know
Charlee: “Is that like the Superbowl Shuffle?”
Chaplin: “What’s the Superbowl Shuffle?”
Charlee: “I think it might be like the Truffle Shuffle.”
Chaplin: “What’s the Truffle Shuffle?”
Charlee: “Didn’t you ever see ‘The Goonies’?”
Lulu: “I think I’m looking at a couple of Goonies right now.”
Oh sweet kitty ~ bet you are content now that the ‘furniture shuffle’ is over for the most part ~ Great photo of you, dear fur person ^_^
Wishing you a Happy, Creative and Healthy New Year,

Cool,I talked about a food dish for this weeks posting.
That is exactly what happened at our house.
Moving furniture is heavy work, you need to give the peeps some lap time to help work out the kinks Brian! You look very handsome today sweet boy.
Mine is all put away and won’t be tinseltastic till next Christmas 🙂
Your looking very regl there heheh!
Have a safetastic Monday 😷😷😷
You are so handsome!
I hate it when the furniture gets moved.
Brian you look spiffy today! Sad in a way to see the decorations put away but it’s also good to have things reshuffled back to their regular places!
Our tree is still up. Peepers says it HAS to stay up ’til Little Christmas, at least, but if we’re bein’ honest, and if it’s gonna be like last year and the year before and the year before that… It’ll be up ’til at least February. It IS pretty. MOUSES!
Yep- Christmas has shuffled off to the closet- now looking forward to Valentines Day!
We did the same shuffle here. Our big box got moved to a different part of the house and the dining chair went back to it’s corner.
It seems like yesterday it was time to put the tree up…time sure flies by when you’re having fun!!
Haha so did we! 😀
All the Christmas things have been stored away here too except for the wreath on the door and the old-fashioned sled on the porch. Mom says she is happy to finally have a regularly scheduled week. She had to look at the calendar to figure out what day of the week it was between all the Eves and holidays:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
It’s true that, however lovely the Christmas tree is, it does take up a lot of room!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
We’re not ready to un-decorate yet!
Glad things are back in order. 🙂
It is nice to get everything back in it’s place. Our decorations will come down tomorrow night for Twelfth Night.
Christmas is gone here. Next year our mom says we’ll have more decorations.
Super cute photo, Brian. All our decorations remain in place. Mom will do the trees last. She plans to start taking down window candles and garlands on Thursday! Mom found an ornament from the tree with the non-breakables in the bedroom this morning. That is the first time any kitty has touched anything on the tree. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
We got rid of our tree yesterday. And we immediately wrestled in the empty spot! Marv went all crazy pants and attacked everybody! (he hates change). Brian, you look like a sphinx! Mom says you would make a great painting!
We did the putting away yesterday. I find it sad…..we won’t see the tree for another 12 months.
Shoko
Christmas is soon over.
God bless.
Brian, I noticed that lots of folks took down their outside holiday lights already!
Usually, we have cold, wintery weather, and those lights stay out until March, but some folks got to them during the brief snow-free days we’ve had.
Our tree is coming down mid-week. My human is ready to buckle down and make 2021 amazing!
It’s sad when the Tree comes down, but it is special in part because it’s only here part of the year, and a small part at that.
When my parents took down the tree they put stuff back in the wrong place. It is very disconcerting.
It feels like a furresh beginning with everything in order, doesn’t it, Brian? You’re looking cute today btw. Extra Pawkisses for you all🐾😽💞
Brian,
We still have our little tree up. I’m in no big hurry to put it away but I know I need to do that. I hate keeping it up too long but I will miss it when it’s goes in to hibernation as you put it. Happy New Year to you, your furblings, mom, and dad!
We love the decorations and all, but we also love getting back to normal (we’re still working on that too).
Sometimes normal is sure grand when it returns
