Today I’m thankful for FSP. Yes, you heard that right, FSP. Y’all have heard of ESP haven’t you? Of course you have, Extrasensory perception. Well, I’ve got FSP, Felinesensory Perception and I’ve got it good. Boy, let me tell you, it is quite useful too, especially in the evenings.
Y’all do know the Medicine Man (Dad) gives me medicine every morning and every evening. Well, my FSP comes into play in the evenings because the Mom is available and sitting on the couch. She’s not always there in the mornings. Anyways, back to my story. Each evening I get one liquid medicine, two pills at separate times and sometimes some laxatone.
What about my FSP? About five minutes before medicine time I hurry to the couch and snuggle in against the Mom because I know that Dad won’t mess with my Mom snuggle time, so I get a reprieve until a bit later. The Dad has even mixed up the times some and still, five minutes before I head to the snuggle Mom. I know when he is thinking about my medicine, FSP! I’m thankful that it works almost every evening.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh, my darling. I hope you know how much you’re loved. You need to take your medicine and appreciate your humans as I do from afar. ~grin~ All the wisdom and kindness imparted from your family are much appreciated. Take care!
FSP sounds like a very important skill, i am glad you have it and use it!
HAHA…you are a mess but keep in mind, Dad is giving you those to help you and help you to feel well. Don’t give him too hard a time.
Wow, Brian, that FSP is an amazing thing. Angel Gracie had that going on, too!
FSP is really an awesome thing to have!
Way to go Brian! We have FSP here too! Except we cuddle up to Alex! Mom is the the Medicine Woman!
So many things to be thankful for.
God bless.
It is very good to have FSP, Brian.
That FSP comes in handy doesn’t it! I’m just glad that you are taking your medicine as you need to and that you Mom and Dad are taking such super care of you dear friend! Thanks for hosting the hop – we are THANKFUL for you too!
Hugs, Teddy
Humans try hard to understand us but they are not good at it. We, on the other paw, dogs and cats can read humans so well it is almost scary. They cannot fool us!
you are da fsp pro… not even da phenny has such senses… although he knows da moment when the mama looks for the toothbrush… but he is a stinker, he never gives me a warning …
very interesting, you have senory perception that helps you adjust the times for your med per you wishes, not dad’s wishes… i have heard many times that cats do not like meds of any kind.. it is good of your dad to let you have your snuggle time..
Boy oh boy. Mom told me that Admiral had THE most perceptive FSP there was of all the felines ever in the house. She knew mom was thinking of meds when mom was at WORK for pity sakes! (well, mom always thought she did). Mom could not put on a pair of shoes to go shopping though, that Admiral didn’t think she was going to get medicine or worse, go to the Vet. SO, it was sad to see her head for UTB while mom got ready to go out. Me, I don’t fight like Admiral did so mom is… Read more »
Oh My Catness Brian we had a bit of FSP last night and… well I will save it for next week and you sure will be amazed! We are all so Thankful to see you and our friends. Happy Day
Brian, it sounds like you are smarter than the humans think.
I am thankful that you have medicine to help make you feel better though I understand that you do not like it.I would try to hide too!
Purrs, Julie
Meowser Brian dear furiend, I might have FSP too! Though not for meds, er, possibly not for meds, since I don’t get any, so I don’t know, but I sure do know weather and which humans are trustworthy.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop,
Purrseidon
I am glad you get a snuggle with your mom. Laxatone is so sticky- could you get Mirilax in your food instead? Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
We sometimes use our FSP too!!
The Florida Furkids

I know kitties know what we’re up to at all times. Whatever you need to do to stall the medication time works for me. I’m with you.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. Scritches to all your siblings and my best to your peeps. ♥
Brian,
My ESP kicks in sometimes. Medicine isn’t much fun especially when it’s yucky tasting but I’d rather get it over with than to postpone the inevitable. You have to take the bad with the good as they say and snuggling with mom is the definitely the good. 🙂
You are one smart kitty Brian! But I’m glad your Dad still gets those meds in you – MOL!
I could do with better FSP, as I am getting lots of medicine at the moment. Do you do Zoom classes, Brian?
Purrs,
Genji
Brian, you are extremely clever!
MOL MOL MOL Brian….FSP….you are handsome and funny and love you mama.
All things we ladies like in a man.
Hugs Cecilia
dood…how kewl iz thiz….due ewe bye chanze noe what thiz week endz lot tree numberz will bee ? 🙂 happee new yeer two ewe all !! ♥♥
You are a very smart kitty, Brian! ♥
If your Dad did not love you so much you might never get the medicine you need! Be a good kitty and swallow! HUGS!
Very clever Brian! The medicine actually is good for you, but saying that has never convinced any of our kitties, either.
You are so clever, Brian! But I’m sure even if you don’t like the meds, you know Dad means well when he gives them to you.
It’s such a cat’s sense 🙂
Do you think there is such a thing a CSP (Caninesensory Perception)? We like to think that we are capable of more like a mind meld with our pawrents especially when we want our breakfast or dinner. BOL!
That FSP sounds pretty important, Brian. But we hope that at some point Dad is successful with those meds. We have a form of CSP – we always seem to know when it is mealtime and time for bedtime snacks:)

We keep trying to add our link to your Thankful Thursday hop but it keeps getting an error. Here is out link https://birdbrainsanddogtales.wordpress.com/2021/01/07/fruit-garden-cal-update/ Maybe you can get it to work?
We got it to work and think it was because of the image we were choosing.
I am glad they love you so much. I love my 3 cats so much! Great photo, deep in thought!
You’re such a clever kitty!!!
Mom cuddles and a meds reprieve, win win!
Wow, we have that too but we never knew what it was called. Thank you.
Whoa! FSP sounds amazing. I bet I have it too cos I know just when the peeps want to take me out in a car you know where.
So it is late, very late and I just lost my photo on my link. HaHa, it seems it is my life story. Glad to be here. Love the FSP! I love the photos and you sure have a great support system at your house. Take care and nice extra kind. We all need it. HUGS to all
You are looking really dapper today – handsome and FSP too! 🙂
MOL MOL FSP That’s so epic! Hope mew had a great New Year and thanks for hosting ❤
What a fantastic invention, Brian and what a brave boy you are💗Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
That sounds like the same approach that our cat Pippen takes to things… She knows that she can at least temporarily delay if not get out of anything that she doesn’t want to do simply by cuddling up with Mommy.
