Howdy gang, I hope your Monday is going along just fine, ours is in the so far, so good category. I hope you had a good weekend too, ours was really quite snoozy, well, except for the blizzard late Saturday. Would you believe we had a blizzard in the South? Nope, me neither.
Actually, we weren’t supposed to have a blizzard, nope, not at all, and this time the weather guessers were right, not a blizzard in sight. The weather guessers did tell us we would get a dusting to an inch of snow and they were right on that count too. I know a lot of you got a lot of snow, but we don’t get much snow here. It was actually 780 days since we had and inch of snow of more and the official take is that is how much we got. We just had a dusting here though.
We had some really big snow flakes and the snow was going pretty good for a while Saturday night. It was pretty to see from inside but our poor ferals didn’t seem to crazy about it. Most of them high-tailed it to their houses. Sunday morning it was all but gone and it was 50F degrees yesterday. Don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes , it will change.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we are glad the snow is gone and the ferals can spend more time outside…
You are lucky, winter is in full swing here and Jackie doesn’t like it. We humans on the other hand enjoy the snuggle time with her. Stay warm and safe!
I am glad the blizzard didn’t arrive.
Cats and snow is not a good combination. At least you got to see the white stuff from your nice warm house.
The poor feral cats… I feel so bad for them when it snows. We’ve had more snow this year than I can ever remember. I
Great photo. We have snow just now in Scotland and a little sun now!
We’re glad you got only a dusting. We were not in the path of the blizzard, but we have had 10 or so cm of snow over the past several days, and it’s FREEZING. We’re SO looking forward to spring!
Take care and stay safe and stay well. 🙂
Thank goodness Brian we did not have any frozen precip either but OMCs we had 1″ of rain over night Saturday. We were a foot over rainfall in 2020 and now I think we are working on breaking that record. Today is our only sunny day of the week
Hugs Cecilia
Glad your snow is gone now. If you’d like some more, I’ll send you some of ours.
I am glad you didn’t get it in the end, it is snowing here in London as I’m typing it looks like it came here instead heheh!
Have a posetastic safe day 😷😷😷
Ours was really just like yours…including the big flakes. Some seemed the size of silver dollars!
It’s great that the ferals have a warm place to sit out the snow.
The Florida Furkids
the past month has been spectacular here, or so I SAY, the dad says it has been to cold. by cold he means he has to wear sweat pants not shorts while sitting in front of the TV and socks on his feet, not barefoot. today we woke to 61 and to him that is cold, to mama she loves it. she would not love even a dusting of snow. Beau loves cold what daddy calls cold.
Pensive looking kitty ~ sweet photo ~ snow here ~ Yikes! Ready for Spring.

Hah Our weather guessers are saying we will have SNOW starting this Wednesday….well…we’ll see! Have a fun day!
Wow, it sounds pretty! I’m glad it didn’t last long so the ferals could leave their houses.
I’m glad you didn’t have a blizzard. I’m sorry what little snow you had made the feral kitties go hide. That’s a good thing though.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your peeps. ♥
I don’t mind a dusting of snow – kinda pretty and the humans can drive in that easily – it’s the BIG SNOWS (4″ and up) that are difficult. Luckily my humans are retired and rarely go anywhere these days so no biggie. The ferals/wandering kitties have the heated house on our front porch and breakfast and dinner so they are doing well in shelter. Our world is bumping along fairly well. Stay warm!
Hugs, Teddy
Glad you dodged the blizzard! So did we, but I can’t say I’m happy about that.
I’m glad you didn’t get more than a dusting of snow, Brian! We don’t have much equipment to deal with it in the south so it’s always a real nuisance if we do get it. Like in 1993 when we did have a blizzard, 13 inches.
So glad you just got a little but we got what you didn’t. Oh well. Hurry Spring
Brian, you look marvellous darling. You guys are lucky! We have had snow, snow and more snow! We are glad that you did not! You are AWESOME
We always said that about Ohio weather. ~grin~ It’s freezing cold but sunny. I’d like at least a dusting of snow, but it all melted. Oh, well. We’re more likely to get ice than snow in Southwest Ohio, a far cry from my childhood upbringing near Cleveland. Be well!
We got snow over here in Taylors, too, but except for a small area in the back yard, it’s all melted now. At least it looked pretty on Saturday night.
An inch of snow is perfect. It is enough to make things look pretty but not enough to cause problems.
We got a few inches and it is really cold out.
We are supposed to be getting some snow tomorrow. We’re ready! And we’re glad you did not get a blizzard!

Tama and Genji
Nowadays, Brian…I don’t listen to the weatherguessers; I just batten down the hatches and hope for the best! If we ever get out from under this frigid air mass that is just hanging around, I’ll be very happy!
dood…rite now 50 wood bee a heet wave heer…..itz vizshuz out side ….we due knot even wanna go in de garage !!!!!!!!!!!
we didn’t get the giant storm that those in the Northeast got, we got some snow, not tons…..what we DID get is temps in single digits and teens. Would rather have snow!
Yay for the snow being gone. I am sure the ferals are happy.
We got the snow and LOTS of it. The best part…mum stayed home 🙂
She cleared a path to the birdfeeders so they will be able to enjoy the seeds mum puts out 🙂 Mum is used to the snow because it was more common when she was young.
I am an indoor cat so I don’t mind either 🙂
Still, we are glad the storm is over and we have a Winter wonderland 🙂
Purrs, Julie
“weather guessers” you sure do have that right Brian!
We are covered with snow up to our knees. The cat is sitting in the window and is amazed.
We hardly ever get snow so I can feel for you. I want some snow.
I wish we would have gotten one inch. The weather doesn’t change here during the winter. Every day is colder than the one before it. Sigh. The peeps hate the cold.
The snow came here instead! And it was a lot!
Glad to hear you guys didn’t get too much because I know it can be hard for people in your neck of the woods to take!
It’s good to hear you didn’t get much snow but we got some and we’re happy with it.
Yes, sometimes a few minutes is all it takes. Glad you didn’t get much of the white stuff, for the sake of the ferals.
MOL! “Weather Guessers” best description ever! Our weather guessers rarely seem to get it right but, as we say here in Idaho, “If you don’t like the weather, wait a minute!”
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
I am glad you didn’t get a blizzard. They are no fun.
I’m glad the ferals had those houses to escape to when it snowed!
Well, did you like the snow? Mom wonders how we would react to snow, even though it doesn’t snow here.
We had some snow here but it was very light. Mum thinks it’s nice but I don’t! I’m glad I’m an indoor cat x
Mom says we could use a bit of a warmup here. It has been in the single digits for three days now. At least we have a covering of snow on the ground, a very thin one, but we still love it.
