Hello everyone, it’s me Dolly, did you figure that out already? Well, it is me. Seal was here last Saturday so now it’s my turn. It’s kind of a dilemma this week because not too much has been going on. Sometimes not much going on is a good thing.
I’ve been spending lots of time on my Dad’s lap, I really like it there, it’s nice and cozy and he is very accommodating. Pretty much he will let me have lap time whenever I ask. So, I’ve been asking a lot. I think the Dad likes it when I sit with him. I purr and the Dad purrs too. Well, maybe it’s snoring, but it sounds like purring to me!
Okay, enough about laps n’ naps, it’s time for my art for the Caturday Art Blog Hop…
Today I used Lunapic with the Illusion Art Effect set at 55%, then I added the Color Pencil Sketch Effect set at 35%. Have a fun Saturday everyone, Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
That is a very pretty effect, Dolly. Lap time is good as long as your dad’s purring doesn’t get too loud.
today your photo is awesome… it shows every detail of your beautiful furs and your oh so beautiful eyes. what camera do you use, cell? or a dslr? or point and shoot. the photos are amazing and I do know it takes skill and not just the camera.. Beau spend most of the day on daddy’s lap, or at least part of Beau is on daddy’s lap, ha ha
Hello pretty Dolly 🙂 Laptime is a pawsome thing and I love to spend time on mum’s lap as well 🙂 Your arty pic is really nice and shows off your big, beautiful eyes.
Purrs, Julie
Nothing wrong with some lap time – it’s kind of like sitting on a heated cushion when I get on Mom’s legs – feels good! Love the artsy touches on your photo Dolly!
Hugs, Teddy
Dolly Oh my Cats Dolly well done on the purrfect super model head tilt and those eyes.
Hugs cecilia
Dolly, are you lap-sitting to help make your Dad feel better after his dental thing? Hope it’s working!
Dolly, you are a work of art even before your Dad makes your photo into art. How cool that your Dad purrs. 🙂 XO
I loves yoo Dolly!
Charlee: “I like to sit in Dada’s lap, too, especially when he’s at the computer. When I do that he says he’s immobilized because he doesn’t want to disturb me so he just stays put.”
Chaplin: “I’m pretty sure he’s just using you as an excuse for noodling around at the computer wasting time or whatever.”
Charlee: “As long as I’m getting a lap, I don’t care.”
Wow, both are such beautiful portraits of you, Dolly!
Oh Dolly! Lap time is the best…unless you have a hairy slobbery sister…We agree about the purring/snoring. Mom does that a lot. She SAYS she is reading! We love your art today too! It shows off your gorgeous eyes and furs! Have a marvellously Happy Day!
You look great in both those pictures, Dolly. We did chuckle at your description of your dad’s purring. BOL!
Dolly that is some fine Art and we really like laps too
#1 says she would love to have you sit on her lap, Dolly!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
I’m very sure the Dad enjoys your purring time together very much, Dolly. That’s the best way to spend the winter.
Dolly, you look so beautiful, both with and without the art effect! ♥
So beautiful!
My mum’s lap is nice and warm for these cold days.
Sister Dolly, your furs are just so pretty, and your artwork makes them even more striking!!! Nice work!
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
OMG – that artwork is amazing and so lifelike! Totally love it. Yay to lap sitting! Hugs and Happy Saturday! RO
Lovely photo 😀 We love cats on our laps, it is the best 😀
‘Tis the season for lots of warm, cozy lap time!
Your purring must be magically relaxing, Dolly, to make Dad snooze like that. 🙂
Dolly, I think this is my fave art of the week. Don’t tell the others. Pop wishes I’d sit on his lap but he’ll have to be content with me next to him.
He who has lap rules the land.
I like the name Dolly.
Coffee is on and stay safe
What pretty art of you, Dolly.
Yep, i guess it’s a type of purring, it means he’s happy, right?
Lap time is The Best, Dolly, you Beauty!
Our late, great Tilly the cat did what we liked to call snorpring, a cross between a snore and purr. May that’s what your dad is doing. 🙂
