Well gang, March seems to be booking on so far, here we are in the second week already. We all seem to be quite busy getting our snoozes on. Next week on Mancat Monday it’s National Napping Day so we’re all doing our best to practice and make sure we’re ready. Anywho, I’ve got three things today, my odds and ends…
First it’s been plenty warm and our feral family has sure been enjoying themselves. They sure are fun to watch and they sure are enjoying their meals. I don’t like to jinx anything, but we’ve not seen any coyotes in a while. Hopefully they’ve moved on.
Second, also coming up is the day that the humans will be messing with our time again. We’re not, as most of you know, big fans of changes of any type, but boy messing with the time thing really isn’t fun. We seem to handle it okay, for the most part, but it seems to confuse the heck out of our feral family. The Dad tries to adjust feeding times for them to help them adjust.
Thirdly, do you enjoy Blog Hops? Lots of us do. Have you thought of having your own Blog Hop? You may have seen this posted over at The Cat Blogosphere, but in case, the crew that runs The Pet Parade Blog Hop is looking for someone to take it over…
Blog Hop Host(s) Needed

The Pet Parade Crew is seeking someone or a team of someones to take over this weekly Blog Hop. Dogs and cats are welcome to host or co-host. One person needs Linkytools, but it is an inexpensive thing to use. The person would need to be able to display the Linkytools element on their site, so self-hosting is important. It works well with a small team. If you have an interest please contact Marjorie via email at thecrew (at) gmail (dot) com or you can leave a comment on her blog at DashKitten.com.
Have a fun day Monday everyone, see you on Thankful Thursday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We have never even taken part in a blog hop! Back when we started, there was so much going on in the cat blogosphere, and we didn’t want to take anything else on. Now we are dealing wth Genji’s illness…
We are glad that March is marching on properly over your way.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
I am happy that March is marching and that our temps are starting to go up!!
It’s still cool bit not so cold 🙂
Purrs, Julie
So happy that spring is almost here. 🙂
Our time change is in 3 weeks. It annoys me too because I have to take my main medication at a certain time so have to alter it by 10 minutes a day. Sounds good in theory but not so good remembering.
Keep practicing your snoozing!
National napping day should be a fun one and perfectly times after they rob us of an hour on Saturday night!
I have already started my annual rant and Rave and carry on about the time change. Every time it changes I make myself a promise I will not rant and rave and then the closer it gets the more I rant and rave. After we understand how the Pharaohs feel because that’s how I feel and it doesn’t matter which term change it is they all make me crazy. And it makes bow crazy too because we do everything by the clock and at the same time of day.
Hi Brian. The biped wishes there was a human national napping day, and on a work day too. 😀
Yes, the time change is almost upon us. Derry will be fine with it, but it will mess with the human for a bit. Apparently the bipeds are very sensitive, fragile creatures. Ha.
Take care!
Aww ~ you do nap well ~ sweet photo ~ Time change impacts us all ~ not always fun at first ~ Happy Week to you,

Happy Monday! We do NOT like the time change at all.
The Florida Furkids
Anytime we get more daylight is fine with us. Thanks for the reminder, I totally forgot. March is coyote mating season but, I hope they are busy doing other things instead for looking for cats LOL
ugh don’t even remind me about Springing forward….I already don’t get enough sleep!
We’re glad to hear the coyotes haven’t been around lately. That time change stuff is crazy and we don’t understand why the humans do such things. It totally messes up our eating schedule too.
That’s fascinating, if sad, that the time change confuses the wild charges your family so kindly cares for. Best wishes!
I don’t care for the time change either and I wish they would spring forward and then not change it again. Messes me up something awful too.
I hope you find someone to take over the meme.
I linked you to Awww Mondays. Mancat Monday and Awww Mondays are interchangeable.
Have a purrfect day and week all you kitties. My best to your peeps. ♥
Yikes….forgot about the time change…..that is such a crazy thing that humans do and it messes with our nap schedule and food schedule too!
Hugs, Teddy
Charlee: “Oh no, not the time change!”
Chaplin: “That means a week of nobody quite being awake!”
Lulu: “I don’t know why humans have to make everything so complicated …”
Those are some good things Brian. So glad the coyotes seem to be off doing coyote things. Now that switcheroo day is a pain. Dad eases into it by slowly changing our times starting a few weeks ahead of time. And the third. We have been thinking of that one. Maybe but still need more discussion with The Great White as it falls on Rumpy Day
Brian, we don’t really understand the time change thing either; it’s time (hahaha) for it to end, imho.
I’m so glad to hear your ferals are doing well. I’m dreading the time change as well, the kitties don’t like it at all and if the kitties aren’t happy, ain’t nobody happy – MOL!
It is all going sooooo quick and you look very comfy there :-0
Have a lazytasticated safe Monday 😷😷😷
We’re happy about the approach of spring but we don’t like the time changes either! I wish they’d leave it on daylight saving time year-round! Here’s hoping the coyotes have moved, we used to see and hear them too but it’s been awhile.Brian what a cute sleepy picture of you!
Our human has no concept of time to begin with, despite all our efforts to keep her in line. Just be glad you’ve got someone who actually pays attention! We’ll be napping.
I thought March was National Napping Month! Have a lovely day!
I don’t like this time change when we lose an hour. I hope someone takes over the parade, I love joining, but I already host one on Friday. XO
Yup, I’ve been hearing ’bout that ol’ time change thingy comin’ up. I’m okay with it, I THINK. Brekkies are gonna be served an hour earlier, if I remember correctly, AND… And there’s an extra-hour of late afternoon / early evenin’ sunpuddles to be had. PURRS
We are no fans of the time change thingie, but eventually our tummies adjust. Hope those coyotes don’t return. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
Our time changes in 3 weeks, and we don’t like it either. Good job practicing your snoozing ! Purrs
Happy Monday to you, Brian. Those were some very good odds and ends. We don’t have any trouble with the time change either. It used to be hard when we had Angel Ciara because it was important for her get her anti-seizure meds at the same time every day. So Mom would have to gradually adjust that time by five minutes or so a day until she was back on schedule. We hope the ferals continue to do well.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I donno what a Blog Hop is? Good photo 😀
Time change…UGH!!!
Hi Brian! Yes March is marching on! It is going much faster than we anticipated. We are NOT looking forward to the time change. Now napping is something we can get behind 100%! You guys are awesome, thanks for letting us know, thanks for all that you do and thanks for visiting us! Have a marvellously happy day!
I hate that time change too, Brian! Why don’t humans leave the clocks alone??
Ugh, the time change. There’s some bill making its way through our state legislature to stop doing this but it’s to keep daylight saving time. We are staunch supporters of standard time. Plus, why to people think there is more actual daylight just because the clocks change?? No wonder the world is going to the d*gs. Anyway, we have to practice our napping now.
Hi buddies. I hate when they mess with the time and our precious schedules.
When the hay field is cut. Then you will see coyote.
Coffee is on and stay safe
I’m glad things are good with your feral family, and I am purring that it stays that way.
Whoa! Friday is World Sleep Day too. Lots to practice for. Humans are more thrown off by the time thing than we are. The day after, there are more car accidents and heart attacks
It’s very smart to start adjusting the times ahead of the dingy daylight day. Someday i wish we could just split the difference, set the clocks back or forward by a 1/2 hour, and leave it there forever!
We are waiting for a big storm. Some say maybe 40 inches. It is March and this is Colorado. Napping is always good. I love them too. Have a great week and thanks for always sharing.
We are not looking forward to that crazy time change either!!
