Hello gang, thanks for coming by to see me on Sister Saturday, I really do appreciate it. Can you tell what I’m doing? Nope, I’m not looking for light fairies, although I’m always on alert for them, but that’s not it today. Nope, it has nothing to do with the eyes and everything to do with the nose.
The nose? Yes, the nose! The Mom went grocery shopping, which she does every week, but today she brought us something home. I smell me some Rotisserie Chicken! We haven’t had one just for us for a while and I could smell it coming even before the Mom came back into the house.
Did I get me some Rotisserie Chicken? You betcha and boy was it good, it was yummy and still plenty warm. Thanks Mom, we sure do appreciate it! Okay, enough about that yummy chicken, it’s time for my art for the Caturday Art Blog Hop…
Today was really simple, I used Lunapic, the Illusion Art Effect set at 60%. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I bet that rotisserie chicken was good! Your art is lovely, Seal.
I love the photo and the art. We try to avoid eating chicken in our house because it immediately attracts vultures . . . I mean cats.
Aww great photo! I keen forgetting to pick turkey up for my cats when out. I don’t eat meat so never up that ailse! But they do love plain turkey my gang!
Now that you have mentioned rotisserie chicken I think that’s what we’ll have for lunch today and tomorrow. I’ll just drop myself down to Publix supermarket and buy one of their big fat ones and a few sides and I won’t have to cook for 2 days. Thank you for reminding me how yummy rotisserie chicken is and Bo boy loves it too
HAHA! “Seal and the Aromas” sounds like a great rock band name! Bet that chicken was yummy in the tummy!
Hugs, Teddy

Hi Seal! We too had chicken yesterday, but it was roasted in our very own oven! Usually Mom buys the rotisserie ones but they were all sold out, so she bought a real one. We got to smell it for a couple of hours before we got any and boy we were sure hanging around the feet when it was getting cut up. You look absolutely gorgeous in both your photo and your Caturday Art! You look marvellous darling! We hope you all have a marvellous day (and more chicken).
Glad you scored some chicken. I love your art. XO
That sounds delicious ! We’re glad you could enjoy some tasty chicken ! Purrs
All of of other cats that have gone over the rainbow bridge loved occasional chicken, turn, shrimp and reddi whip but not Ricky and Lucy which, I guess is a good thing….just cat treats.
What a special treat! Your Mom is so good to you! ♥
We love rotisserie chicken too. Our mom is making chicken pot pie for dinner and she used rotisserie chicken and yes, we did get some. Yum!
We all love rotisserie chicken here – yum! That expression is priceless Seal. Some folks in Texas pronounce it Rota-sary chicken MOL!
Gorgeous art! Rotisserie chicken is the best! Angel Truffles was nuts over it.
There are few things in life as good as rotisserie chicken
Sister Seal, with those two beautiful photos, the original and the artsy – we say you deserved an extra helping of that rotisserie chicken.

See, I knew it, mom is as nice to you sweet furs as dad is.
We love your picture and artwork, Seal. And we love chicken, too! 🙂
Cute photo and nice art. I can smell a rotisserie chicken while Pop is riding up on the elevator. before he opens the door. I’m on the table waiting for it to be cut.
Mmm! Now my human and I BOTH want rotisserie chicken! Since it’s just her and me, one would be enough for both of us.
Rotisserie chick-hen just for you? What a super treat! And it seems to have inspired you, because your art this week is simply pawsome!
Beautiful!
