Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Keeping the Ferals Cool and Dry

thankful thursday blog hop brian 03112021

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by and welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful that we get to give our feral family something to help keep them dry and to help keep them cool when the temperatures heat up, which will be happening before too long. I know I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. Even though they live outside, we love each of them.

Note, this is not an affiliate link and we purchased this item for our feral family. Here’s their new Pet Canopy:

They had one just like this but it was two years old and, although it was still functional, the weather gave it quite the beating. They like to run across it, lay under it and lay on it. Some times they hit it on the run and bounce on it. We call it their trampoline! It’s really sturdy and holds up to all kind of kitty antics. That’s a heavy duty mesh in the middle to help with the cooling and air circulation.

I’m thankful we can make their outside life a little easier. So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

That “trampoline” sure looks pretty cool! I think I’d like one of those just for me for outside. I was out on the front stoop with mom and dad again yesterday where the sun shines right down. After a while I wanted to get out of the sun but stay outdoors, so I moved to the shaded spot under a chair. That looks like it’d be much more fun to lounge in!

We used to have something like that! It was Kozmo’s favorite place to lay during the days in the summer! We had forgotten…Thanks for reminding us about it and we are so happy that your ferals are loving it! We are going to have to get us a new one! We are thankful for you guys and all you do and for telling us about your ferals! Have a marvellously happy day!

Terry, it’s pouring down rain here and I was just thinking about all of the poor feral kitties outside and telling Magellan (who is on my lap) how fortunate he is to have a warm home and humans who love him. Your ferals are fortunate to have you too. God bless you and your family for all that you do for them! 🙂
