Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by on Mancat Monday, the day after Easter and the big Feast.  Well, not exactly.  Oh, it’s Mancat Monday alright, and there was a big feast, it just wasn’t here.  Actually it started here but it ended up somewhere else.

The Mom got all the goodies prepared:  Louisiana sunburst salad, honey roasted ham with coconut rum-soaked Washington cherries and fresh pineapple, smashed potatoes, smoked gouda macaroni and cheese, apple-cranberry herbed stuffing, grilled-broccoli and cauliflower casserole, roasted vegetables, rolls and candied pecan sweet potato soufflé.  It did smell good.

The Mom and Dad got it all packed up and took it to our friends place a few doors away from our house.  She hasn’t been doing that well and wasn’t up to fixing Easter dinner, so the Mom and Dad had Easter Dinner with her, her Son and Daughter-In-Law.  Nope, none of us kitties care for ham so we enjoyed a nice and quite Sunday afternoon, twas purrfect.

I hope you all have a fun Mancat Monday, I will see you again on Thankful Thursday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Sounds like your Mom and Dad had a good Easter. We brought ham home from the mother-in-law’s house but my wife’s sister said ham is bad for cats. I’m pretty sure it’s bad for humans so I believe it.

We’re curious…what is Louisiana Sunburst salad?? We had a little ham yesterday. It’s okay but we don’t love it like Angel Sniffie did.

Brian, I sat on a neighbor’s front porch, talking about her feral cats, and watched the folks next door pour in, all laden with goodies. We kept separate from the family, because the COVID numbers are insane here, so we’ll visit the family hopefully in the summer.

Not like ham??? Is that even American? That was so nice for your mom and dad to do and everything sounds delish but I hope everyone was fully vaxxed. Wait, I know your mom and dad are really smart and careful so you don’t have to answer that.

What a delicious feast! Your Peeps ROCK that they shared it. We had ham too and we each got a little bit. Don’t tell our Mom but she likes chicken better!

I hit Post too fast! I wanted to say you look marvellous on Man Cat Monday Brian! And did you get a taste of ham. We hope you have a marvellously happy day!

Brian, your mom and dad are so very kind. We bet that dinner was delicious, too. (Well, our mom does–we are not ham fans either!)

What a kind thing for your Mom and Dad to do!!! We didn’t have ham here either because Dad shouldn’t have it with his kidney issues. But they did have steak on the grill and we all got a taste:)

WOW, the Easter dinner your mom did sounds super yummy! And, oh how sweet of her to share it with a neighbor lady not feeling well and her family. I wanted to say thanks for the frequent visits this month to support me in my A2Z madness and I’m sorry for not always getting back over to your place. You’re dah best! Have a great week, furriend!
