Hello everyone, thank you so much for coming by to visit with me on Sister Saturday. Guess what I did? Oh, the blog post title gave it away didn’t it? Yes, I was hauled off to the Vet early Thursday morning. It was different, I can tell you that. I was surprised, I can tell you that too.
My inhaler meds for my asthma don’t seem to be working and I have stopped eating. The Dad was feeding me by hand but it was time to get checked out. The Vet I went to when I got asthma diagnosis wasn’t available so we tried to get an appointment at our cat only Vet, all booked up. So, I went somewhere new, it’s a AAHA Accredited Practice and a Cat Friendly Practice.
I am off of the inhaler and back on the Prednisolone for the short term. Weird, after I stopped the inhaler I started eating some on my own again. We’re waiting on some test results to see what’s really going on so if you can send some purrs and prayers my way I’d surely appreciate them.
Okay, enough about all that Vet stuff, it’s time for my art for the Caturday Art Blog Hop…
Today I used Picmonkey the Radiance Effect with Focal Size set at 552 and Fade set at 20%. I then went to Lunapic and added the Floating Art Effect set at 16%. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I am glad you are eating again, but hope those test results give answers for your best course of treatment. Your art is very pretty.
Glad that you are doing better! We had to bring our Coco to the vet too. He scratches himself too much…got some pills and cream…now we are waiting for the blood work result.
your radiance makes you look like a super hero. Prayers going up for your tests to find what is going on and that there will be a easy peasy treatment. happy to hear you are eating better. keep it up.. you look so pretty sitting on the stairs.
PS before pandemic we never had a problem getting in a vet office, when we needed one for Big Boy it was impossible and also when we needed one for Beau. I don’t get why it has suddenly become so hard to get a vet appt
Be sure to let us know what’s going on,Seal. We’ll be worried while we wait.
Gosh Seal the artsy picture of you is fabulous but what’s MORE fabulous is that the new vet is trying to find out the cause of your problems! Off the inhaler and back on another med so that you were HUNGRY and ATE is a step in the right direction! Sending POTP.
Hugs, Teddy
Lots of purrs and prayers for you Seal

Oh my goodness: it’s a beauteous natural photo of you Seal, and another beauteous art
image as well (of course, you’re quite beautiful to begin with!)
Good that you’re eating now … but paws together that your purr-oblems will soon get
resolved.
So sorry, you aren’t feeling well Seal. Hope you feel a lot better soon. The mom was up almost all night, since Salty decided it might be fun to go outside and then that darn Murphey chased her up a tree. She finally came back this morning at 3 A.M.
You all have a great day and lots of purrs coming for Seal.
What a beautiful picture of you, Seal. We have our paws crossed that the vet can help you feel better soon.
You are a beauty and I love your art. XO
Seal, we love your photo and artwork. We’re sorry to hear your inhaler is not working so well for your asthma, and hope the pred and whatever else the vets can come up with will get you back on track. Purrs and prayers that the answers come quickly! XO
Charlee: “Poor Seal! We’re sorry you aren’t feeling well!”
Chaplin: “We send lots of purrs for you to feel better soon and start eating even more delicious foods again!”
Lulu: “And I send fluffy tail wags!”
Oh, Seal. So sorry you’re feeling not so good, but glad you’re eating again. Will send some Healing Pawkisses to feel better soon🙏💗and some Extra to all of you🐾😽💞
PS I love your artwork!
Seal we are so glad you are eating again. We wish our Rumpy would allow the inhaler but he fights Dad like some demon cat (we cats think he is one but Dad wont listen) Glad the oral is working. Have you ever tried Triamcinolone? It is an oral steroid but very few side effects for cats. Rumpy is on a big dose daily and his labs came back perfect. That is something as steroids usually pop the glucose. Purrs
I am sending lots of purrs your way, Seal!
Seal, I’m sending healing purrz. As another cat with asthma, TW can’t get me to accept the inhaler as every time I get an attack like I did this week, I go on a cycle of pred in my food. Yuck. You art is totally gorgeous.
Dearest Sister Seal, yoo are in my pawprayers that the Cat Vet figures out what’s going on, and makes yoo feel much better. Have them check yoor mouth to see if it’s red on roof. My brothers died from mold poisoning, and I always stress that it’s important not to rule it out. We love yoo at Wonderpurr.com. Love always, Dori
That’s beautiful art, Seal!
Sending you hugs and purrs xx
Seal we send you purrayers and Power of the Paw that you are better soon !
Loads of purrs for you, sweetheart! That’s gorgeous art too.
I am sending hugs and prayers.
Sound like your coming around and that good news.

Your Caturday art is beautiful.
Oh, buddy, we didn’t like reading that. We pray that the pills work and you will are eating and breathing regularly soon.
Sister Seal, we hope the doctor can find the right treatment for you so you are feeling superb again. The original and the artified photo are simply beautiful. Well, you ARE just simply beautiful too.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Praying they figure out the problem and get you breathing and eating properly again.
Seal darling, we are happy that you are eating, we sure hope the vets can get you the meds that work the best for you. We are adding you to our purrayers. Your art this week is stunning! We LOVE the radience effect! Kozmo thinks we should redo him with Radiance! Thanks for visiting us and we hope you guys have a marvellously happy day!
Seal we are glad you are eating again! We are sending purrs for the vets to find some clear answers. That a beautiful art picture of you and I like the original photo of you too!
You look amazing and Lunapic is stunning. I need to use it more!!
You are looking good, Sister Seal! We are sending purrs and prayers that they figure things out so you can get feeling better too. ♥
I have been on asthma inhalers for forty years (!) and my mother learned the hard way that a painful oral infection known as thrush can occur from not rinsing the mouth after usage. Could that have been the issue? ~hugs~ Best wishes on better health, my darling.
Thinking about you Seal! That Prednisone is good stuff so it should help.
Seal, your art is really fabulous. It highlights your beauty. Sorry you are having some health issues. Getting into the vet today is so really difficult, and then our humans cannot come in, which makes it extra stressful. Hope the change in meds gets you straightened out and all your tests come back normal.
