Tabby Tuesday: Couching and Whiskering with Simon

tabby tuesday simon 04062021

Hey gang, how y’all doin’ this fine Tabby Tuesday?  I hope you are doing great and that you are having a fun time.  Fun is important, but do you know what else is important?  Being comfy!  Yes, comfy is a pretty darn good thing.

You might notice that I’m sitting on the couch.  Oh, I’ve been on the couch before, mostly up above on the back of the couch.  Here lately I’ve been sitting down here with my Mom.  Oh sure, Brian sits here lots with the Mom but this is new for me.  Guess what else?  Seal has been sitting on the couch with the Mom too.  Maybe we’re just a pair of copy cats, but we seem to like it now.  The Mom says I’m showing off my big whiskers!

How about you?  Do you still try out new things or are you more comfortable with the same old same old?  Inquiring minds want to know!  Have a fun Tabby Tuesday everyone.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

you look wunnerful! and it is a good thing to try out new things, especailly if it involves sofas and mama. i do know this is not the norm for you so is a real adventure. Beau doesn’t something new almost every day. this weeks new thing was going in the bathroom with daddy, then same day going with me. he has not done that in 6 months living with us.. he is slowly taking over every room in the house. he doesn’t go in the computer room. that might be his next adventure.

Hey Simon, sure, you’re real special and all, but how ’bout Tortie Tuesday? Hmm? Just teasing. Your eyes are so darn beautiful. I could just gaze into them dreamily and get lost.

Our cats are older and set in their ways and places. We dogs have been on pretty much all the places, so there isn’t anywhere new for us to go! Enjoy that couch.

The most important part of the different spots is your with mom. She likes it very much.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

We pups don’t have that many options for where we can lay. The floor is always an option but the only furniture we’re allowed on is the big bed. We spend lots of time up there since it’s the most comfy place to lay.

We aren’t allowed on the couch, but actually we don’t even try to get up there. We all like to lie on Mom’s feet:) Simon, you have beautiful whiskers, and we think you should just keep showing them off:)

That couch does look pretty comfy, Simon, and your whiskers are fabulous!

Ava has decided she likes the cushions on the back of the couch. Very squishy and comfy. 🙂

I am willing to try new things as long as they do not seem too scary.
There has not been anything scary lately so I am not sure how I will react if I see something different 😉
I like sitting close to mum and on mum 🙂
I like when she reads, then I sit on her lap for a good while 🙂

If you don’t try something new, how will you know if you like it or not. Wonderful whiskers, i don’t blame you for showing them off.

well, since I’m not quite a year old yet there are TONS of things that are still new to me! I mostly am obsessed with watching the birds through the window…..when I joined my family it was just before Fall so I never got to see how active birdies are in the Spring til now!! Love, Roary
