Note: I tried to visit a lot of you yesterday but between that darn Captcha with match the pictures on the blogger blogs and internet problems here I didn’t have a whole lotta luck.
Anyways, howdy gang, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for humans that have some good ideas, granted they are few and far between these days. We recently had a strange working human at our house and that human installed something that’s quite useful. It’s called the iWave and it cleans all the air coming into the house and kills all of the germs and bacteria along with it. It really is good with an asthma kitty in the house.
It really is called the iWave and I waved at it several times and it has yet to wave back. That’s pretty rude if ya ask me. Next up is something called whole house surge protection and that’s happening next week. A couple of years ago our house got hit by lightening so it will protect things from getting fried. Well, fried chicken is okay but not fried TVs or computers.
We really are thankful for those smart humans. So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
p.s. The Dad has a dental appointment this morning so we’ll catch up with y’all later today or tonight.
Those do sound like good things to have, something to purify the air and a surge protector. We have the whole house surge protector and it helps me sleep better at night knowing it is there.
That iWave sounds like an excellent thing to have, especially now, as does the surge protection for the house. They both are definitely things to be thankful for! The biped says she’ll have to Google the iWave!
That iWave is quite rude, but a good thing to have with an asthma kitty. I had no idea kitties could have asthma! The anti-frying thing sounds good too, we’ve had too many things fried during thunderstorms here in Florida. Have a happy Thankful Thursday! 🙂
that darn Captcha with match the pictures is really annoying! I should get iWave too.
Have fun with your dentist appointment :-))
That iWave thing sounds great, Brian, even if it is a little bit rude. Breathing easy is a very good thing! So is protecting surges! 🙂
IWave sounds like something we should have even if it’s rude. Sorry Blogger has been rude again recently. We have a few air purifiers here.
Sometimes humans do come up with some pretty cool things!
I sure do agree with you Brian. My smart person is using medicine that another smart person thought of to help me feel better. Sorry about the linky it looks kind of funny
I am grateful that we are getting our first shots (I mean COVID vaccination) tomorrow. (I am guessing most furbabies would not agree that shots are something to be happy about!) I am happy to have blogging buddies! I am happy my blogging buddies have furbabies!
oooh to clean the air is a super idea this time ;O)
Those both sound like a very good idea. When we had a landline the phone regularly got fried during thunderstorms.
I have updated the boys birthday post to include Thankful Thursday on it and added my link. They were the biggest thankful we could have in our life.
I think Blogger has been having some blips lately. Three or four times over the past month I have had to tick the Captcha boxes on most Blogger blogs. I checked mine and it is turned off, so I hope our blog hasn’t been giving problems.
That iWave sounds good. I think I would like it as I have allergies but I doubt it is available here in France. I’ll ask #1 to have a look.
We hope your Dad’s dental appointment is painless.
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
Air purifiers and surge protectors are both essentials these days. Glad to hear your Dad continues to take such good care of you (even if your Wave isn’t as friendly as it sounds!) Have a wonderful weekend… grateful for friends like you. :-)(
The air filter would be great for allergies or asthma. Mom would love a surge protector for the whole house. We have never had an issue, but it is always a possibility. Have a great day!
Be sure you don’t let your humans install one of those things that you talk to the house and say, lock all doors, unlock doors, close windows, open door, that kind of stuff. I saw a movie that the house locked the doors and no one could get out. JUST SAYIN watch out for SMART houses. ha ha… that match the picture thing is a horror, i have not had one lately but about a month ago half the places i went in one day had it, but then the next day it did not.. right now they say the… Read more »
Mommy had one of those dread dentist things a month or so ago and will have to arrange an appointment to go back. Now the iWave is amazing. I will make mom google that.
Hope your dad’s dental goes well. I have never heard of the wave, but it sounds amazing even if it is a little rude. Thanks for hosting. Have a nice day!
XO PS- the blogger blogs make me captcha every Monday-Tuesday and it drives me crazy.
Meowser Brian dear furiend, that iWave sounds as intriguing as it is rude… must investigate this and determine if its function is basically the same as our special filter system… it doesn’t seem to do much of anything either, but it might be sending signals with its lights, which vary from white, blue and an ominous red.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop and hope you’re having a wonderful week.
Purrseidon
They sound like epically supurr things, we especially like the air cleaner, we run similar at our house too but portable models to to keep the air extra clean. Thanks for hosting and we hope mew have an epic Purrsday XOX
P.S. a furiend of ours is having a catnip hamper giveaway, so stop by the blog tomorrow to find out more <3
iWave sounds like a super duper wonderful thing to be thankful for!! All kitties and humans will breath easier
Hugs Cecilia
I’m going to check this out. I didn’t even know this existed. I’m thankful that you shared this with use today.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps and scritches to the kitties. ♥
That sounds like a great addition to your house. We’re sorry it didn’t wave back at you.
The Florida Furkids
Wow, we’ll have to check out that iWave, it sounds wonderful – I’m hoping it stops allergens too. Have a wonderful Thursday sweet Brian.
I am going to find out what iwave is because sorry, this is the only time i heard the name.
Have a super week!
Having good air to breathe is impawtant, Brian!
Good thing you are all set on that score.
Both the iWave and the surge protector sound like good ideas indeed, Brian! That is such a nice portrait of you! We’re thankful the storms didn’t come here last night.
That iWave sounds like a good thing, Brian. I like to see germs dead. 🙂
wonderful thankful!!!! I’m thankful that Levi’s daycare (he goes once a week for 5 hours and gets trained there too), said “Levi is one HAPPY student” BOL!! Probably because they give him chicken when they train him! xoxo
iWave sounds like a great investment! Thanks for the head’s up about blogger captchas. I’ll check mine as I don’t need it since I monitor all comments before they post.
Oh my word I hope your Dad’s mouth is not too sore after his dental today.
Good luck to him as he starts to work on implants!!
Hugs Cecilia
Clean air is something good to be thankful for. We know how important all those electronics are to the humans too so that surge protecting thing sound good too.
I think products like the I Wave take themselves very serously because they do a lot of serious work.
You are always so thoughtful and kind and you post terrific photos. I could not get linky to let me in today. It said I came from an unknown blog. Technology is not my strong suit! Take care all.
The ‘gadgets’ all sounds great and will keep the house and everyone safe ~ Xo

Even though the iWave won’t wave back, it’s still all good! Breathe easy, friends. Surge protection is also a great idea going into the boom-boom season. Sometimes humans do have good ideas…..thankfully! X
Very rude indeed! Here’s to better breathing for all!!
Those sound like some exciting projects you have going on!
I did not know cats can have asthma but I think perhaps Rose had that. She was never properly diagnosed but we did everything to keep her happy and comfortable through her kidney disease dianosis. She was a beautiful girl and I miss her beating up Mister KItty with her mean left paw. She was a tough chick cat! I hope you get better. Everything you are doing, the hubby does here for his asthma. Live long and prosper meowing!
That iWave sounds like a great idea. We haven’t heard about it before. Mom will have to check it out. We could probably use one of those surge protector thingies too. We do have on on our A/C units outside but not for the whole house.
Have a great rest of the day and weekend.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Whole house protection is a great idea. Mom says one house she had got hit by lightning once and fried everything that was still plugged in (she saved her computer, thankfully). Worse, though, was the fact that her cats Eddie and Sophie flew into the basement and hid in the tiny space between the washer and dryer for eons!
The iWave does sound rude but helpful, so I guess you’ll have to balance that!
Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week. Nice products that you mentioned.
I’m thankful to have found you darlings. 🙂 Enjoy your upgrades!
Enjoy the iWave! That does sound like a great idea!
That does annoy me. I don’t know why blogger things I am a spammer 😐
How rude of that iWave not to wave back! I’ve never heard of that. Gonna go look it up.
