Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Isn’t it funny that we have to start a post with a disclaimer that WE’RE NOT doing something. That’s the bureaucracy for you. Hey, I’m not riding in an elevator either and I’m not flying to the moon. Oh well, I did manage to get a little off topic didn’t I?
Anyways, it’s always important to stay hydrated, no matter the species. We have lots of water bowls plus a water fountain. Well, several days ago our water fountain went all wonky on us so the Dad donated it to the landfill. Yikes, we were without a fountain.
So, the Dad went online and did some fountain shopping. Wouldn’t you know it, our favorite fountain, the only style we’ve ever had, is no longer available. Double dog dang! So, the Dad picked out another one and hoped we’d like it.
As it turns out, we all love it, lots and we took to it like a duck takes to water. Dad, ya done good and we’re thankful you made a good choice. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh wow! A water fountain ~ what a great Dad ~ love it ~ very regal photo of you ~ Xo

Hooray for Dad, and hooray for the new fountain! Every time i try to teach my cats to drink from a fountain, Sweetie gives in and turns it off and gives them a bowl, defeating the purpose.
Great tip. WE don’t have that fancy thing just yet.
That’s a luscious water fountain! It helps to stay hydrated 🙂
We are so glad you all like that new fountain, Brian! Yay for your dad!
Brian this is an important post and your timing is great for the coming summer. We have that same fountain and it works great. And you can get a new pump if you need to so that is a plus. Yeah Hydration! Gee, did I really meow that? MOL
So glad you found a new fountain! We are grateful for all the rain that we have received lately. It will help a little with the drought!!!
we love fountains… sadly just from a distance… the mama thought it would be nice, but we are not brave enough LOL
I love my water fountain too!
That is a very nice looking fountain and I am glad you all like it.
So many things to be thankful for that they don’t fit in this space!!! Love the water fountain, but want to know even more about that wine rack and what’s in it, haha.
That looks like the purrfect water fountain for kitties, Brian. I don’t have a fountain, because it scares me, I think, but with my paws I make my own fountain every day…ask Granny…MOL.. Now here’s a big Pawkiss on your paws and one Extra for all of you🐾😽💞
Good job Dad! Hydration is impawtant for us AND for our humans too!
Hugs, Teddy
Yes, water is so important! We have bowls around the house too. Happy fountaining.
We lives in an older home what was built in the late 40’s. There are only two at most outlets per room, and the only place for a fountain is across the room from the outlet. That ensures I’ll not have a fountain. Cords across the floor aren’t optimal. 🙂
That’s a fine-looking fountain. … Too bad you aren’t flying to the moon with it… that could be a great adventure.
Thank you for hosting this blog hop.

I’m so glad you all love the new fountain. You have a great dad! 🙂
That’s fabulous that you all enjoy your new fountain, Brian!
A new water fountain that you all love. Dad did a very good job and I’m sure he’s relieved that you approve of his choice.
You sure are handsome, Brian.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your peeps. ♥
what a deal, a new one and everyone loves it… can’t do better than that. glad everyone gave it 4 paws up… and I must say you look wonderful doing the Paws that refreshes on the new sofa. or chair.
That looks like a nice fountain. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
Lucky find dad – we are having a cat food crisis. Our 2 don’t like anything these day 🙁
That’s a beautiful water fountain!!!

We think it would be fun to drink from a fountain but we only have a stainless steel bowl. It’s okay though because the pawrents freshen them many times per day.
Staying properly hydrated for humans and pets is essential. I would think a home fountain is a good idea for kitties or other critters but fountains for humans especially in public places I don’t think is a good idea but I guess it’s helpful for those who really, really need water in a hurry. Whenever we go out, even if it’s for a short errand we always take a bottle or two of water. We do is reuse 24-oz soda bottles to fill with filtered water. This has two benefits, I’m recycling a product and it doesn’t cost a lot… Read more »
Brian that is the purrfect fountain for your home. Kitties like to drink at a height a bit off the floor. Way before fountains were available I learned that Angel Milky=Way preferred to drink his water out of tall pitcher.
Then with Angel Madi there were fountains available a bit elevated and she also like water from as it slide down the fountain
WELL DONE TO DAD aka top Researcher!!
Hugs
Miss Bridget loves to drink out of the faucet. That’s the closest we have to a fountain. This one looks awesome!
I decided to do a thankful Thursday this week I had some fun with my posy come for a vist as see what I did!
We’ve never had a fountain, but have lots of water bowls all over the house. Which means lots of walking around refilling and cleaning – maybe we should look into that water fountain thing.
Cool fountain! We’re thankful for lots today, and even though we didnt say ‘thankful’ in our post today, we are very thankful for the book and lady we’re talking about!
I’m glad your Dad found another fountain so quickly that everyone likes, Brian!
I’m thankful our kitties are good at drinking their water. 🙂 Cool looking fountain!
Hydration is indeed very important! Have a great day! And many thanks for Thankful Thursday!
Mama wishes we would use a water fountain…You kitties are very brave, we all think fountains are little scary!
xoxo,
Rosy and the Gang
Phew, we’re so glad you like the new fountain! It looks very pretty too!
Happy Thankful Thursday!! That is one wonderful looking new water foundation there and we are so happy you are enjoying it. Thanks for sharing. Have a fantastic rest of your day.
Yes, I’m a real believer in hydration, purrsonally and for Dani. Unfortunately even though she gets fresh water every day in a clean bowl, Dani still likes to sample toilet water. I was looking at fountains recently, but don’t know what’s best. What did you end up buying? We’ve had a few in the past which proved problematic.
We’re thankful for you being so thankful and for being such a kind person.
I am not telling Teddy and Jack about your fountain. They would want one, and there is no place for one here.
So glad your cats like their new fountain! We lost water for 2 days this week so we know how important it is!
Your dad did good! It’s hard to find good substitutes sometimes.
Your new fountain is very cool! We have a fountain and we love it. Ours is a big one–Mom got it when there were 5 kidlets living with her. We like it because I can get all twisty and duck under Izzy when he’s there, and he has a lot of water to wash his feet!
I love the fountain. I think it would scare Pocket. Everything does
Cool fountain! A few weeks ago I mentioned to you that I had water bowls in every room but only drank outta the fountain. Well, since that night I’ve been drinking outta all the dishes and cups. MOL!
Oh Wow! That looks like one wonderful fountain. Mom has been thinking about getting us a new one, once all the dust and debris in the kitchen is finished and we have been thinking about what we would like to try. That one looks FABULISHIOUS! Thanks for sharing yours! We gotta look and see if this one is available here in the Great White North! Unless the border opens…
I’m glad the new water fountain is working out!
What a good dad you have. You trained him well. Tee hee hee! I got my first fountain ever last year and I have been using it ever since. It’s a different kind than yours, but it still does the trick.
Good advice and so very true. That is a sweet water fountain.
Charlee: “It’s nice to have a water cooler to gather around!”
YAY Dad!!! I used to have a fountain like that, got rid of it because I HATE changing filters!
Staying hydrated is supurr impawtant, and funnily enough, we’re reviewing a really nifty water fountain this week that tracks your H2O consumption! Thanks for hosting sweet furiends, mew know how much we love to visit! XX
It’s wonderful that you like drinking from your new fountain. And it’s stylish!
