Hello everyone, I thought I’d string some ends n’ odds together today, since I do that every now and again. Railing might be one of those things. I’ve seen Simon up here, I seen Seal up here and I’ve even seen Dolly up here. I’ve not seen me up here for a while so here ya go.
Speaking of Dolly, she said to tell you thanks for all of the purrs and well wishes, she seems to be doing a lot better now. No more throwing up and Dad isn’t really having to feed her. Hey, the Dad does that when he has too and three of us are really cooperative when that’s a necessary thing. Hey, maybe next week I’ll demonstrate with the Dad feeding me.
Simon wasn’t feeling too good either, he was throwing up on Saturday. It’s weird, Simon and Dolly both eat that pouch chicken with vegetables and they both got the barflies. That’s too much of a coincidence so no more of that pouch food for them, it’s not worth the risk. Too bad though, it was one of their faves. Simon will probably give you an update tomorrow.
Okay, that’s enough for today, I’ll see y’all on Thankful Thursday. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we hope they both are out of the woods and it was just the food and it’s over and done now…
Glad that Dolly is doing better now. Hope Simon gets well soon too. My cat Coco hadn’t felt well last two days either…he just started to act like a cat again this morning…fingers crossed!
Interesting about the pouch, but there could well be something in there that doesn’t agree with you!
That’s a great shot, Brian! Tama finds your dangle perfect!
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
Hopefully the food change will fix the barfies for Simon and Dolly…..and I also enjoy the railings along the upstairs hall……just fun to poke my paw through and wave at Mom as she comes up the stairs!
Hugs, Teddy
Oh dear, that is no good if your siblings are tossing up their food. Hope they continue to feel better.
We’re glad Dolly is feeling much better (Simon too). Maybe the pet food company had made a change to the food (which of course they wouldn’t inform consumers about). Anyway, paws crossed that everyone remains fine!
OH mom sure doesn’t like it when I get ahold of something that makes me hork it all back up. Occasionally that happens with something containing salmon. Which is a shame because I love it. I never keep it though..it comes straight out. Mom gave up, of course.
Oh boy that is a bad-food coincidence, I’d toss it too. Ricky likes the pouch but only sometimes – Lucy says “no thanks!”
Adopt cats and adopt dogs. They both need loving homes and are so very appreciative of you for caring for them
Sweet photo Mr Brian … don’t get stuck! BTW, June’s not tried any pouch-food yet, and maybe she won’t for the time being … rather safe than sorry for now.
You have to get to all the good spots at home and the railings are a really good spot to see most everything.
Sorry a couple of you were sick. Yikes. I’m glad you’re all better now.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and my best to your peeps. ♥
You look so beautiful between those railings and I’m so happy to hear that the pouch was the cause of the upset tummies and not something worse that requires a veterinarian
I agree, no more pouch food! That is way too much of a coincidence. Please don’t get your head stuck in the rails handsome!
Good to hear about Dolly and hope Simon is much better too
Now back to you, I must say you look very regal relaxed in that photo 🙂
Have a posetastic Monday 👍
So glad to hear Dolly is feeling better! Brian, you couldn’t be any more handsome if you tried.
Oh noes! Here’s hoping that, without that particular food, Simon and Dolly are right as rain in no time. Sweetie didn’t eat her breakfast yesterday, but she’s eaten everything else since, so it was just an anomaly.
Conductor Brian you are riding those rails like a pro
I am glad Dolly and Simon are on the mend.
Hugs Cecilia
What great news about Dolly(and Simon) and what a handome rail-cat you are Brian!!

Sunny and the Gang
Charlee: “Uh oh! Sounds like there might have been a bad batch of the chicken in a pouch food!”
Chaplin: “We’re glad everyone is feeling a bit better! We send lots of purrs for it to continue, plus for a new tasty favorite food to be found!”
It’s so upsetting when a favorite nom turns on us. I’ve had the barfies from particular Fancy Feast pates. Since I eat fast, and often run around like a little piggie to steal noms from my fursiibs, Momma doesn’t react, unless someone else also barfs. She no longer buys from Amazon because she had a couple cases where we were all barfing. It might be because cases sit in warehouses and delivery trucks. Who knows, but here in the hoomid South, it’s a constant problem all the time. Anyway, wishing yoo all happy tummies.
So glad to hear the barfies are over and hopefully avoiding that food will keep them away! You look handsome up there, Brian!
Maybe the pouch food was just a bad lot. I used to find that occasionally with the boys and try them with the same food but different serial number and it would be okay again. It makes you wonder what they did to make it different though.
That is a great dangle, Brian.
I am glad they both feel better.
We’re so sorry to hear Dolly and Simon weren’t feeling well. We’re sending healing purrs.
The barfing thing happened with one brand of cat food and Binga, many years ago. She was fine with everything but this one brand of food. So my human stopped buying it, and no more problem.
It certainly could be the food. In this hot weather, things coming from hot warehouses in hot trucks could be compromised. Don’t risk it.
oh my, hope everybody gets better.
We’re very glad to read that everyone is feeling better ! (Now if Sawyer would just come home.)
Good to hear Dolly is better. Musta been the food then. Hope they both are on the mend. And you look amazing too 😀
There was a huge cat food recall last week here in Scotland and the UK….so many cats have been ill and some passed on due to feline pancytopenia, which I hadn’t heard of until that news hit. My cats don’t eat the brands involved.
Hmmm…definitely sounds like you narrowed down the culprit!
Good to know what was causing the upchucks so they can be rid of. Jack sometimes barfs breakfast. Sometimes he eats it too fast.
Brian, you look really handsome and very handsome on those stairs 🙂
Pawsome posing 🙂
I am sending purrs to all of you, because who couldn’t use some purrs.
Take care <3
Purrs, Julie
Brian, you’re looking good up there. You have long legs, don’t you?
I am glad Dolly is feeling better and hope Simon will soon get over his upset tummy too.
I’m glad they’re doing better. We (apparently) ran into a bad batch of food that, I’m thankful to report, the cats would not eat. Best wishes!
Hi Brian! You are looking terrific, great to see you up on the stairs! The railings are cool! And we are glad your Dad figured out what made Dolly and Simon sick! There is some strange stuff in the food sometimes. That is why Mom started to make the dogs dinners back 20 years ago.
We hope there is no more throwing up.
Sounds like that was some bad food, Brian. I’m glad Dolly and Simon are doing better now.
I’m glad to hear that Dolly is feeling better. Strange that Simon wasn’t feeling well too. Maybe it was a slightly off batch of food, or maybe they both just got the same cooties.
We hope Dolly and Simon get better soon. Nice dangling, Brian ! Purrs
Sweet photo of you Brian ~ Xo

Could they have simply gotten a pouch that was contaminated in some way? Those pouches can get tiny punctures, although it is rare, and the food can spoil.
smart move to discontinue that food!!!! Did you check to see if there was a recall on it?
