Hello everyone, it sure has been a while since I did a Sister Saturday post, it’s been two whole weeks. Can you believe it? The last time I did a Sister Saturday post was in May and now here we are in June. I haven’t done a post since last Month. Okay, let’s get on with it then.
I usually don’t like to discuss health things but my tests for my pancreas were still outstanding. The results are in, I don’t have pancreatitis, and that’s a good thing. The test I had was called a TLI/PLI/Cobalamin/Folate and was done at Texas A & M. The only thing found was the tiny possibility of Irritable Bowel Disease, but nothing really definitive so the results are good.
Now then, about this long mane of mine. This is the last photo of this long mane. Shortly after this photo the Dad trimmed it up for me and got it back to normal. It was really, really bothering me. I would lick and lick at it. It was so long I couldn’t eat without dipping it in my stinky goodness. So before to long you’ll see the Me with a normal mane. Thanks Dad!
Okay. enough about all that stuff, it’s time for my Caturday Art…
Today I used Lunapic, the Yarn Art Effect set at 50%. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I am glad your test result were good and ruled out pancreatitis. Your winter mane had got very long. Whilst it does look lovely it must have been difficult for you to keep it clean. Your art is very pretty.
I am so happy that the test result was good and you just have a minor bowl problem. You are such a cutie!
We’re so glad your test results were good, gorgeous. And now for that impressive, flowing mane- It sure adds to your beauty, and your artwork is fantabulous, dear Seal.
Glad for the OK test results!! Also think you look gorgeous after your “haircut” – who wants their mane dragging around in their food????
Hugs, Teddy
Great news about your tests! It’s a good thing that you got your furs cut, who wants cat hair in their food? Hahaha! Have a good weekend!
Oh Seal…I hope it isn’t too short?
YAY for good results!!!!! Nice artwork!
The Florida Furkids
Clapping with glee over your test results Seal and you got a new mane to keep you tidy. Win Win
Hugs Cecilia
I’m so glad to hear the test results were good! Your mane is beautiful but glad dad got you all trimmed up. I can’t wait to see a photo!
Good news!
We really like your art, Seal. Giulietta’s mane is always a mess, and she hates when Mom brushes it. Mom never thought of trimming it. She is probably going to get a Lion cut sometime this summer. We are delighted to hear that your “passed” your tests.XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
I can’t wait to see you with normal mane, you have had your long mane since I met you. summer is a good time for a trim…
Daisy Mae and I are so glad your test results said you didn’t have pancreatis.
We love seein’ you Seal.
Love the picture too.
Those are good test results, Seal and I’m happy to read that! That is quite a mane and I can see where trimming could be helpful! You look so beautiful in both pictures and the art pic is really gorgeous!

Hurray for good news! ~hugs~ I used to trim my beautiful Luna’s mane sometimes. It was an infrequent wintertime event throughout her lifetime. 🙂
Good to hear your results were pretty good Seal!!
Bet you are loving your new Summer do, especially if it means you get to eat your food and not wear it 😉

We’re glad your test results were good. Could it be SIBO? The biped has been dealing with that via her naturopath, but apparently has had it a long time (based on the high levels of bacteria, when she did the test!). Interestingly, Ernie’s mom (Island Cats) commented (on one of the biped’s blog posts) that cats can get SIBO too, though it’s very hard to diagnose. (Heck, the biped’s human doctors don’t even know of it, or at least not the endless procession of residents she’s seen at her clinic.) Anyway, SIBO can present with a lot of IBS symptoms,… Read more »

Seal, we hope that you begin to feel 100% soon!
You certainly are adorable, and look even more beautiful when artified.
Nice seeing you, Seal! I’m glad you got trimmed up – it sounds like that mane was causing you trouble.
Wonderful news, and beautiful art!
Congratulations. That is most excellent news

Coffee is on and stay safe
Such happy news! A nice hair cut makes all of us feel fresher.
Looking good, Seal! And we are SO happy about your good test results!
We are so, so pleased about those results, Seal! As to that mane, if course, the other possibility would have been to braid it, which would probably have taken your Dad about a week!!! You always look lovely, Seal, whatever the length of your mane!
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
Oh, Seal! You look amazing! And about the haircut – Mummy says She totally gets it (mol).
We’re so happy you got good test results, Sister Seal, and that your Dad takes such good care of you!
That’s good news on your test results (nothing serious being found). It might be a bit frustrating to not have clear answers, but hopefully you can get your tummy settled down with some dietary adjustments.
We’ve had some long-maned kitties who would get food in their fur, or get their floof stuck in their mouth while grooming. Mom never thought to trim it because she likes long-hair kitties. Your dad is very wise for making your floof more functional.
