Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for you and all the well wishes you sent my way, I love you too, I really do. It’s nice to have made so many good blogging friends throughout the years. Y’all really do mean the world to me. I’m still not eating like I should but the Dad is feeding me so I get my calories for the day. Oh guess what else? Our regular Vet is allowing one pet parent in so the Dad got to go in with me on Monday.
The Dad got the results from my blood work and as our wonderful Vet said, they were “unremarkable”, which is the technical term for pretty normal. Our Vet was really worried about my kidneys but the kidney numbers were just fine. So, there were no real answers in the blood work.
The next step is an appointment with our Internal Medicine Vet. Our regular Vet made the referral for us and they are typically 3-4 months out on appointments. My Dad was able to get me an appointment for August 24th, which is amazing. I’ll have to have an ultrasound to see if the EVIL-C is hiding in there somewhere. We’ll try to keep posted along this journey, thanks for being here with me. Oh yea, the Dad will be able to go in with me at the Internal Medicine Vet.
As I said earlier, I’m really thankful for you and I’m really thankful for our caring regular Vet, she’s a special one. So what are you thankful for today??? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brin, I can’t find the code to copy. Is it me?
Brian, I’m glad your blood work was normal but sorry that there aren’t any answers yet. Good thing you’re going to see the IM vet. Let’s not think about that C thing just yet though.
Brian, we sure are glad your blood results are unremarkable. Now you just need to try and eat, okay? And we’re definitely hoping that c thing can be ruled out soon. XO
Praying all is well, that visit cannot come soon enough.
I am glad that blood work result turned out fine. But how do you feel? Still appetite?
Sorry, I meant NO appetite?
Oh dear, we don’t like to hear mention of the C-word. Glad Dad can go with you – family always makes difficult times better …
Unremarkable is a great word to hear when you have had bloodwork. You are sure a brave fur baby. Hooray for the good results. Keep up your calorie intake and have a wodnerful week.
We are glad that it is not your kidneys but waiting is really hard. We send you and yours purrs and prayers
we are so glad that the bloodwork came back without bad things… and we hope that the ultrasound shows only good things…
Usually, tests like these are welcome, but when a kitty isn’t well, it’s frustrating! My human has been through that and it makes her crazy. I hope you either get better soon, or that there are some answers at your next visit, Brian. I’m sending more purrs your way.
It’s good that your bloodwork is fine, but sad that there was no answer to your feeling poorly.
I do hope it is not the evil C!! I will continue to give you BIG purrs!
Purrs, Julie
Dear Brian, I’m glad that your blood work came back as “unremarkable” but rest assured that you are in our prayers as we are quite concerned about you! We know you are in good care with Papa Terry looking after you though. Rest up and grow strong. We love you and you look SO sweet in today’s photo! xoxo
I am glad your blood results are good. I hope the ultrasound shows there is nothing nasty lurking.
Glad your tests were “unremarkable” but hoping they STAY THAT WAY. No Evil-C allowed! Rest up from your vet visit – they can be exhausting!
Hugs, Teddy
Good news, Mr B … mine mommy will have the same thing done today and even tho I happen to think (sometimes) she is a little bit remarkable, I do hope her news is as unremarkable as yours!
Beauty❤
We are happy to hear you cleared the first tests without any problems. Our vet lets our mom come in with us and it is so much better. Going to the vet is so scary and then without her it was so much scarier. Glad you dad can go with you.
A remarkable kitty, with an unremarkable blood work, that sounds great, Brian😸Purraying for a good outcome on the next step🙏Pawkisses for a Happy Day to all of you🐾😽💞
We here in the CB won’t allow any c word to come near your sweet body.
Brian, please eat up! Maybe some really stinky sardines, hmmm?
Having good blood work is a good thing. I’m also glad dad got to go in with you and you’re very lucky to get an appointment with your Internal Medicine Vet. Great news.
I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed that you’ll get better and all will be well.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. Big healing hugs to you, scritches to all your siblings and my best to your peeps. ♥
Unremarkable blood work is never a bad thing!
I am sorry you are still not eating well. And sorry you have to wait so long for the ultrasound. I am praying for you sweet boy. XO
I’m so glad that everything looks good, you are so lucky to have a good Vet, they are hard to find these days. We’ll keep pawsitives going your way for the internal med visit.
now that’s what we want to hear unless there is something wrong tests can’t show I guess, which is what happened with my back. We had a poodle who had routine bloodwork for a surgery and turned up gall bladder issues. Meds helped. It’s a relief to go in with the cats isn’t it?
We are thankful for your unremarkable blood work results! You are still in our purrs and prayers, sweet Brian.
this is good news unremarkable and bad news another vet visit and i will still be praying for you and Dad. so glad the good news was Dad was allowed and will be at the other vet…
I forgot to link this post last night. Oh, it was late and you know how that goes. I sure love seeing that you are doing so well and your vet appointment was a good one. We always are thankful for those aren;t we? You all take care.
Fiddlesticks! I am making errrors everywhere. I need to go back to sleep and try again. Hope you all have your full night’s rest. Enjoy ther new day.
Brian…..’unremarkable’ is not a word I’d use to describe your handsome sweetness; however, I will accept it in lab work.
Maybe the heat is messin’ with your appetite. You and your sibs and humans remain in my purrs
Hugs cecilia
August 24 is the same day as my xrays for my fractured ankle…hoping it’s a lucky day for both!! Sending tons of purrs/prayers that Brian will be eating MUCH better by then…….wish they could get you in sooner, that’s quite a wait and I know you have to be a wreck. Keeping those prayers coming and sending TONS OF LOVE!!!
We’re glad to hear your blood work didn’t show anything serious and we will keep our paws crossed that your next vet visit helps you feel better.
Brian we are going to send you good, good vibes and love and hugs and we hope so much that all will be well and wonderful for you after the tests. These things are very disturbing to our families, but if your blood work looks good, that is a good sign. Love from Loulou
It’s always good for the bloodwork to be normal but I’m sorry there are no answers yet. Keep on eating Brian! Hopefully the c thing gets ruled out. You look so cute today, having a nice snooze.
We will keep up the purr and prayers and pray there is no EVIL C thing there.
The Florida Furkids
Brian that is good news and we will continue to purr on that you will receive even better news after your next appointment!
Hi Brian! We are glad your kidneys are good–hope you start feeling better soon! You’ve got a great cat-dad and he will take the very best care of you. XOXOX from all of us
We think unremarkable sounds pretty good! POTP still headed your way that your next appointment goes well!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey, Arty & Sunny
Glad your blood work came back good. Wish you had some answers. Prayers.
Brian – we re so glad your tests were “unremarkable” unlike you who are remarkable indeed! Good luck
Brian, we’re glad your blood work was “unremarkable,” and we don’t want to think about “c” as a possibility. We’re continuing to keep you in our purrayers, are sending purrs and Light and Love. ♥
Yaay I have the code now.!!
Brian, I am so relieved the blood stuff came back OK. Now make sure the specialist vet says the right thing too! Keep well sweet friend and see you Sunday!
We’re so glad your Dad can go in with you now. That’s good news on your bloodwork but I know it’s still concerning that you are not feeling yourself. We hope you can get answers soon. We will continue to pray for you, Brian!♥
I am glad the bloods came back okay. My girl, Chiana, is going into for dental in August and will be getting an ultrasound too. She has lost a lot of weight but still eating okay and acting normal. They did her tests last month and all was fine. The vet thinks it might be her gingivitis giving her issues, so getting a few teefs out.
We are very thankful for “unremarkable” results. We hope the next visit will be as unremarkable and that by the time it comes along you are doing much better.
Hugs and Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We are glad your bloodwork was ok Brian 0 but we will continue sending purrayers and POTP for your next appointment anyway !
So glad your numbers were normal and everything is good with your kidneys. Hope you get some answers
Continued purrs headed your way! So good to hear you blood work is normal, but it’s not easy when you just don’t know what’s wrong 🙁
Brian, a normal blood work is a good start. I hope you’ll soon get your appetite back and that your other tests will be normal also.
This is good news about your blood work and kidneys, Brian. Try not to worry about upcoming appointment, though. We’re hoping maybe it’s just the heat is affecting your appetite. Keep your whiskers up!
I’m thankful for your test results but don’t like hearing the evil C-word. TW says cats don’t get side effects from chemo like she has but I don’t want to see you suffer at all. Sending more love and healing purrz. Oh, I don’t eat a lot during the hot weather either.
Unremarkable is remarkable.
dood. we hope de bass terd C werd never a peerz on yur chart. N tell dad ta let ewe eat kittenz food. noe joke coz it bee high in cal o reez. st francis blessingz all wayz ❤️❤️
Dude, we’re epically glad your blood wurk was within the normal purrameters, epic news and we’ll purray extra hard that the ultrasound comes back clear. Happy Friyay all! XX
Charlee: “Unremarkable bloodwork sounds good, but the symptoms remaining mysterious is not so good.”
Chaplin: “We sure hope there’s no Evil C hiding anywhere. We hate the Evil C after what it did to Dennis. We’re sending lots of purrs your way for there to be none of that for you.”
Lulu: “And I send fluffy tail wags!”
We’re sending lots of luvs and continued purrayers Brian. Get better soon. Our humans do worry so when we don’t eat. Trust me, I’s know. Big hugs
Luvs ya’
RaenaBelle and Zebby
Teddy has a vet appointment in a couple of weeks. He has been on a diet forever and is still too “fluffy.”
Hope you feel back to normal soon. Never fun to be less than purrfect.
So far, so good! Please keep up the good results and sweet Brian, please eat!
xxoo
Best wishes, sweetie. I’m glad you have such a loving family.
Good news about your bloodwork. Blood can tell so much about someone’s health. I hope you continue to receive good news. X
So happy to hear the bloodwork was normal. Sending purrs and good thoughts for your visit with the internal medicine vet.
Brian,
Continuing to say prayers that all is well with you. I hope there no Evil-C hiding anywhere! You’re a good furriend! Pawkisses and hugs to you little fella!
