Hello everyone, here we go with the last couple of days in August. Isn’t that hard to believe?!?! Besides, it’s gonna be somewhat noisy around here today and tomorrow. Yep. Noises don’t really bother me, nor do strangers, but Simon and Seal might be a little rattled. We’re having some things done in the crawlspace under the house.
Some of you wondered how the Dad feeds me since I’m not eating too well on my own. It’s actually pretty easy since I’m very cooperative. He puts a towel down on the floor and some paper towels as a placemat, then the food bowl. He then puts scoops of food on his finger tip, opens my mouth and rubs it along the roof of my mouth. Done! I usually get 1/2 can of pate (3 oz) each feeding 4-5 times a day.
Notice Dolly there? Dad has to give her some wee bites of her food too. Dolly is our resident foodie and leaves no meal behind. That’s it for me today, I’ll see y’all on Thankful Thursday. Remember, Thursday is my biopsy day so we may be late getting around visit on that day.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I am glad your dad can get food into you, but I wish you could get your appetite back and try eating for yourself.
o Brian, I am sorry that you still have no appetite…and you do look tired. I am glad that you are cooperative and do eat something offered from your dad.
that is so nice of your daddy … and of Dolly so you are the food -team now like da food-sketeers ;O)
Oh Brian, we do wish you felt better and ate good on your own. But we are glad you are eating for the Dad. Mom had to feed Whiskers that way once when he had a cold and couldn’t smell. We hope the strangers do a good job with the crawl space project. It was a wee bit noisy here with Hurricane Ida passing through. Lucky for us we were on the very fringes, so it was just lots of rain and a little wind.
Brian you’re a good boy to eat well with the help of your Dad. Dolly might just be your resident “food checker” – making sure what you eat is of good quality (or else she just wants a snack!!). We will be praying for you on biopsy day.
Love and Hugs, Teddy
You are lucky your dad has the patience to take such good care of you. It’s so important that you keep getting your food.
That’s great that you cooperate Brian, keeps you strong and Dollys says she catch the bots and pieces.
Good Daddy! And as they say, don’t bite the hand that feeds you … but then you NEVER would.
I am particularly glad to see that. And anything your Dad wants to share as our parents might be in the same position with us one day. Thanks Brian and Dad. PS aren’t we fortunate to be loved so much?
I like how Dolly is snoopervising. 🙂
Brian, you’re VERY good to let your dad do that, Derry would not! We, too, wish you’d start eating on your own, though. Continued purrs and purrayers to you. ♥
We wish you were eating on your own but we’re glad your Dad can get you to eat.
This proves there is more than one way to feed the cat and God bless dead for figuring it out and getting you your food anyway you will take it. I played like I was Dolly yesterday I said no to all foods no as I did not say no to all foods and a scale shirt at this morning. I’m a big boy was so sick and would not eat he would eat anything I put in his mouth so every bite he ate I would put on my finger like your dad and he would take it or… Read more »
Your humans love you so much, Brian…they’ll help you get food by any way that they can!
Thanks for the update your dad is very clever what a good way of encouraging you to eat loved the demo heheh
Have a nibbletastic day and keep eating 👍
I am glad you are getting your food 😀 Fingers crossed for Thursday.
Dad rocks for sure. I’d be doing the same. You just worry about your appointment and we’ll wait to hear how it turns out.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around, healing hugs to Brian and my best to your peeps. ♥
That is a really good idea, I’ll remember that feeding technique next time we have an issue with one of the cats not eating enough. Right now our issue is they want to eat us out of house and home – MOL! Take care and stay well sweet Brian.
Oh you have an awesome Dad ~ sweet photos ~ Xo ~ Dolly being watchful ~ ^_^

Brian your dad is 1 Million times a keeper.
Maybe double S’s will need to retreat to the upper chambers during the lower noise
Hugs Cecilia
Brian,
Well, your dad has a good system for feeding you. It sounds like you have no choice but to swallow what he plasters against the roof of your mouth, right? Well…that’ll keep you stronger until the doctors can get you fixed up with the return of your appetite. Sending pawkissings and hugs little furriend!
your Dad is a gem but we already knew that!!!! That is a brilliant way to feed you and I am glad you are being a good boy for Dad, Brian. If I were a cat, I would be Dolly……I leave no meal behind either LOL!! Love, Roary’s Mom
We’re so glad your dadis helping you eat, Simon, but the kitties and I also hope you will again start eating on your own. You’re a good kitty to cooperate!
You Dad sure loves you Brian! We love you all dear friends you are just great!

Your Dad is the best. My mom used to feed me (Raven) little balls of canned food when I wasn’t eating well. Hopefully the noise isn’t too bad and doesn’t last too long. We’re in for some noise too. They’re replacing all the water mains, fire hydrants, and putting in water meters in our neighborhood. But at least they will be in the road and not under the house!
You’re such a good kittie, Brian, to let your Dad feed you like that and not bite him. We bet Dolly is the clean up crew!
I am sorry to hear yoo aren’t eating much. I haven’t been eating much either. I gotz hair balls and Momma puts delicious gel on my noms. I prefer the gel and leave the noms. I also prefer to eat what she’s eating. Call me fickle. Hugs, Dori
You have such a pawsome dad!
Brian, your Dad really knows how to get you to eat. He ROCKS!
I am glad you are eating even if you need your sweet Dad’s help.XO
Sound like your dad knows what he doing.
What a wonderful way to eat dinner Brian….and such a nice Dad you have!
xoxo,
Arty and the Gang
What a great Dad! It’s good that you cooperate and eat. We have several foodies that will clear plates for you if you let them.
So glad you’re getting nutrition, Brian. I haven’t been eating much the past 2 days but I binge and then not binge.
A tip of the tail to your very devoted dad.
What a loving dad you have. And you are so cooperative. Just wondering…has the vet tested your thyroid? A friend of mine had a cat who had thyroid issues and wouldn’t eat.
Please be well, sweetie. You are so loved.
We are so happy you are getting your noms. Each meal must take a very long time. Your dad is so terrific and loves you so much. Praying that all goes well on Thursday.
