Hello everyone, thanks once again for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do get excited when new blogger pals join us!
Today I’m thankful for a rescheduling of my Internal Medicine Vet appointment to a bit earlier date. Instead of going on 8/24 I’ll be going on 8/18, that’s six days earlier. The only downside is that it’s a drop-off appointment, meaning the Dad will drop me off early in the morning and the Internal Medicine Vet will work me in as she can.
Although that’s not ideal, six days earlier might be worth it, plus, the Internal Medicine Vet is really, really good and the Dad trusts her. So when she offered the Dad said yes. We might just get some answers six days sooner and we’ll all be thankful for that.
So what are you thankful for today??? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brian, we know the feeling of having to wait for a vet to be available, and it’s nerve-wracking.
You’ll be treated very well at the office, even while your humans will be pacing the floor.
We have a similar issue because The PO’M doesn’t have his dental until 8/19, and every drop of drool makes me want August to fly by.
Paws crossed for some helpful answers, Brian!
Praying the vet can find what is wrong and easily correct it!
Brian, that’s good news that you were able to get an appointment six days earlier. Sorry your dad will have to drop you off, but it will be better to get some answers sooner, rather than later. We’re purring!
I’m sure your in good hands with the dr. Although it nice to have dad on your side.
Coffee is on and stay safe
That’s good! Everything will be fine, Brian. We visited the vet 3 days in a row…it’s rough for Coco, but at least he is okay now and starts eating again…
Brian that is really good news. Brother Rumpy went to a great vet and now is back to the annoying flea bag he was before. We all have been purring for you my friend. Thanks for the great Hop you all share weekly, we love it
Oh Brian, I hope you feel better and get everything taken care of it. It is very nice to have a Vet youe dad trusts and one who wants to help you get in sooner. Take care and enjoy a nice quiet weekend. You look very cozy resting asnd enjoying your restful time.
It is good that you can go in earlier and I hope you get good news from your appointment.
While I am not a fan of going to the Vet, I am happy you are able to go and I purr they will be able to make you feel better. I am keeping my paws crossed!
Purrs, Julie
Brian, we’re thankful that you have amazing human parents who do the very best they can for you. We’re continuing to send all our purrs, purrayers, Light and Love.
Great when things can get moved up and seen indeed. Hopefully everything gets figured out.
Glad you’re getting to see the vet sooner dear Brian……..hope you have a good visit and can get all questions answered!!
Hugs, Teddy
We have paws together for all to be just purr-fect when you visit your vet …
As much as we don’t like the vet either, if there is a problem, sooner is always the better solution. Paws crossed for you.
Brian, I am glad you get to go earlier. The rare times I had to drop Katie off, she had to stay in her PTU out there in the lobby till they could work her in. How a girl can stay there and not have access to a litterbox or water is awful. I never let her be dropped off again. I bet your vet does NOT do that.
We’re glad you can get in earlier. Too bad that it’s a drop off appointment but at least you will be checked sooner.
Waiting isn’t a good thing when you want answers and six days earlier is a huge thankful. Prayers continue.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your siblings and your wonderful peeps. ♥
I appreciate the fact she made this offer. 🙂 Best wishes!
That is great news and I hope whatever is making you not hungry will be an easy fix with a pill. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day. XO
We’re glad to hear you get an earlier appointment and we know the vet will do a great job with you. Our paws are crossed that they can figure out why you aren’t feeling well.
Brian waiting is always hard when we WANT answers. I’m glad you have an earlier appt with the Vet Dad likes
Hugs Cecilia
We’re purring hard for good results Brian! I’m glad the Dad got you an earlier appointment, that is great news.
Yay. So happy you got an earlier appointment. Have a great day.

I hope everything will be ok. Hard to get in around here too. Sending prayers.
Charlee: “We sure hope the internist can find you some answers, Brian!”
Oh good Brian, and, even though you would probably delay your vet visit for as long as possible, we know – dad knows best. Happy to read this.
The kitties and I are glad the appointment will be sooner, Brian. We hope you get some answers. Purrs.
Praying all goes well. Glad your appointment was moved up so you can have peace of mind sooner. We love you and are praying with paws crossed for you! xoxo
II do so hope the vet can find out what your issues are, Brain, cause we all want you to feel better and to be well! Yes, its a good thing to get in earliier.
I’m very happy the appointment was pushed up, I know how hard it is not to be able to go in……but the important thing is you completely trust this Vet….that is a GOOD thing. I truly wish they could get you in even sooner, but all of the Vets are under so much pressure right now……sending purrs and prayers for our cherished Brian xoxo

Good that it is a bit earlier. Fingers crossed 😀
Sounds like that inconvenience worked out well this time around. Yay! I’m grateful that I work up this Thankful Thursday! Hugs, RO
Purrayers and POTP that your vet appointment goes well Brian !
The sooner the better, and your Dad will still be close by, waiting and worrying. ♥
Our mom and dad hate how difficult it is to get a vet appointment, and then they have to hand us off in the parking lot. It is stressful enough for us without making us go in alone. Anyhoo, we are super thankful you will have your appointment six days sooner. Also, we are thankful that you all helped keep Kizmet in the top 12 in the HWAC contest. Thanks for being such super good and supportive friends. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
Isn’t it wonderful when professionals try to help out their clients? We hope the “sooner” visit still brings good news and some help for your issue. All the best.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Sending lots of healing energy hugs to you sweet kitty ~ hope you are well soon ~ Xo

Purrs for answers and good news!
Good to hear you will see the vet at an earlier date. Sad that your dad can’t be with you, but he keeps you close in his heart. Teddy and Jack are saying purryers for you.
I guess its good because you see her earlier even if dad can’t come in with you. Let’s get you better Brian.
That was sweet of the I.M. vet to call your dad with an earlier date. She must really like you, Brian!
Aren’t you just so adorable. I am sorry you are not feeling well but I do hope that six days earlier gives you some answers.
I know its not fun to go without a pawrent, but we are thankful that the Internal vet can see you earlier Brian. We are purraying that everything is OK. We are also thanful to see you today! You definitely look comfy (and zonked)!
We also wanted to share that Mary and Mom used sardines in the trap. It took 2 days because each time they set the trap, the racoons got in before Merle, and this was during the day time! They caught the same one twice and one other smaller one. They hate to think what they would have caught if they left it set up during the night.
Ducky does better when I drop her off at the vet…she doesn’t have to worry about “protecting” me…so for her sake I just go with the flow. And earlier is always better when it comes to finding answers.
We are praying for a good result.
So glad your appointment is sooner than originally planned. Best to know what is going on inside as soon as possible! Today I am thankful that our son finally got the job offer he has been waiting for! Enjoy your weekend!
Mom says thank you for the blog hop. We are so happy you can get an earlier appointment and praying it will all go well, I know how you feel about dropping off and then picking up afterwards, its heart wrenching but as Mom says we need to respect the vets safety also. Sending hugs
That is really good news, Brian, we don’t like to wait so long for some answers too. Cross my paws for you, sweet furriend🙏Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
Great news about your appointment dude, epic!!! Today we’re thankful for all the nice things that happen in life, and we hope that all our blogging buddies have something supurr happen for them today! XX
We all hope that the vet appointment goes well. Take care and lots of hugs to everyone!
Brian- can you remove bethere2day’s multiple posts- ?? Steve wrote me about it and I have no way to do that. Thanks and have a good day!
Brian, I am so glad you are able to get sooner rather than later. Be brave my feline friend. Your Dad will pick you up in no time…jp
Sounds like something definitely worth being thankful for!
